Poor service. I bought a vacuum cleaner from Curry’s online in March 2020 and it is not working now in February 2021, so it is within the guarantee period. When I rang their customer “care” line they told me to ring Bosch. No interest in what was wrong or how to help.

Ordered a washing machine from Currys which they delivered and installed promptly, but they left without testing it or switching it on. We immediately realised it was faulty and tried to contact Currys and that’s where it all went wrong. In short: you can’t. If you phone Currys or use their webchat, they give you a number that just transfers you to the manufacturer. They won’t arrange an exchange without a number from the manufacturer but the manufacturer will only give that number to Currys, not the customer. The webchat staff are foreign and just keep repeating the same thing then cut you off. So Currys have deliberately set up a system that makes it impossible to have a faulty product replaced. I will never, ever, buy anything from this shower of scammers again.

My recent experience with Currys was beyond awful! Currys listed the item incorrectly: Firstly, the product I purchased was mis-sold. Product information: The item listed 'integrated fridge-freezer', Currys have since revised their mistake on the website. The appliance is in fact a freestanding fridge-freezer (not at all compatible with integrated kitchen joinery). Attempting to resolve through their website: I made a prompt enquiry with Currys online 'Virtual Assistant' - I was unsuccessful in resolving the issue here. Phone calls: My following action was a call to 'Team Knowhow' - also unsuccessful. More unsuccessful website chat, phone calls: From here, I went to online chat via their website. Spoke with six separate representatives (one chat 'disconnected' - I'm guessing as they exceeded their target), a further five unsuccessful phone calls (one of which I was hung up on). Driving to various stores to sort in person: After advice from live chat on the Currys website, I drove to my local store to speak to a member of staff in person. They were unable to assist and told me to drive to the nearest store (a further 30-mile round trip) to speak with customer services at an alternative branch. I did so, as soon as I arrived they informed me I'd have to call the phone line - at this point after wasting four hours of my time, I refused to call the number. Instead, asking a member of the customer help team to call on my behalf. Collection day: The driver arrived 2 hours before their scheduled collection window, although they gave 20minutes notice which luckily was enough time to coordinate a family member arriving. Incorrect collection details: Currys had recorded the WRONG product for collection. Therefore all the paperwork was wrong and they refused to take the item they mis-sold to me. They will not allow for a refund until they collect their error - still unresolved. Very stressed and unhappy customer - Never again!

The service I have received from Currys is absolutely appalling. Trying to sort out the vouchers to replace our faulty cooker, which Currys engineer has deemed to be unsafe to use, is a complete joke and an utter nightmare. To begin with, trying to speak to someone on their customer service lines is the most frustrating thing imaginable, you are kept waiting for someone to talk too up to, in my experience yesterday, some 40 mins. Then when you do eventually speak to a team know how person they are useless. Not a clue what’s going on, unable to answer a simple question, and tell you a pack of lies to get you off the call. Quite frankly you would get more help from a sub normal chimpanzee! They are without doubt, one of the worst company’s I have had the misfortune of dealing with. I have up until now been a loyal customer to Currys and purchased several expensive white goods from them including a recent new expensive OLED tv, but never again. I shall avoid them like the plague.

I'm not one to write negative reviews, or even write reviews but my experience with Curry's was atrocious. I bought a laptop on Black Friday, the process was easy and quick but I realised immediately I was given a faulty laptop. I went into store and they told me to call customer services. I called customer services and after waiting an hour to get to someone they said I can exchange the laptop but I'd have to go in store. Long story short, I was sent back and forth so many times because of the lack of coordination between departments. I had to call up customer services almost every day for two weeks to try and sort this out, having to wait in a queue for an hour each time. In store, there was always a long queue of unhappy customers having to go through so much just to return a faulty item. One of the times, I was once in store for three hours because of how useless the customer service team is; I was even given a parking ticket even though I was in the Curry's car park. After 3 weeks of stress I finally managed to return the item. I emailed customer service teams and CEOs but have still not received any response after three months. If you buy from Curry's, the price difference will be made up for by atrocious customer service and faulty products. Only buy from them if you're 100% sure you'll never have to deal with them again!

What a joke! I purchased a vacuum cleaner on line , nothing but confusion when I got there . Finally got it home and it doesn’t work . Two hours wait on the so called helpline to be told I have to write an email instead. I will never ever use them again. Rubbish product , rubbish service.

Shocking! Waited 2 weeks for my cooker, paid and ordered online. No correspondence what so ever via email/txt/phone call too give delivery date/time! Absolute shambles.Customer service is a joke, web chat is beyond and no point trying too get hold of a “real” person! Single Mum with 2 small children, paid £400 for cooker and installation and no option but too wait! Actually had a phone call this morning off delivery guy and had it installed and old cooker removed, could not fault the guys. But completely lost faith in CURRYS, had too purchase other “gadgets” too try and cook so in total it’s cost me a small fortune, which I couldn’t truly afford! Never ever again will I use CURRYS!

I ordered a washing machine and was given a delivery date. The washing machine was never delivered. On querying this, I was told that the product wasn't in stock. Despite the product not being in stock, the website still let me order it, saying that it was available for next day delivery. I was charged for the washing machine, yet it was never in stock, and I never received it. I have now been waiting for over two weeks for the refund, which I still haven't received. I have chased this 3 times now, to be told to be patient and that the refund will be in my account within 3-5 working days. It still hasn't. I am astonished that Currys were allowed to take money out of my account for a product that was out of stock, and am even more annoyed that I have been given false information throughout. I took my custom elsewhere, but still awaiting a refund.

Where do I start. Called for refund on a smart t.v. didn't work after only 3 weeks wanted me to put extra packaging did straight away with promise of next day collection week later still waiting. Trying to get in touch impossible. Pity you can't give no stars Absolutely fuming can't afford to lose the money need it to go somewhere else for another. If it's ever collected apparently have to wait at least 10 days again to be refunded

Stay clear of this company Use ao or Argos or anywhere but curry’s Brought a new tv jan 2021. Just moved into our new house and unboxed 5 days ago. There is a problem with the screen. No phone number to call to speak to a human and was passed onto Samsung. They advised me the tv is from 2016 ie 5 years old. It’s missing lots of features that it says it has on curry’s website. Contacted curry’s on Facebook as that was the only way I could get a response after 2 pointless replies I’m getting ghosted. Fuming 😤

We have been waiting 5 months to get a refund on our Samsung tumble dryer which broke down whilst in warranty. 24 emails 2 engineer visits neither could repair, multiple phone calls no further forward. Waiting for the local store to open and it will be returned to the store. Mr and Mrs Telford

Impossible to resolve issues. Cannot phone just get put through to web chat and that literally is "computer says no". So frustrating as day after day typing in same information over and over. I wish I had taken note of the other reviews

Ordered a fridge and when I placed the order I could chose which day I wanted it to come. I took a whole day off work as it was 7am - 7pm, it got to 6:55 and it had not been delivered yet. I went online and tracked the delivery and it stated it would not be delivered until 3 days after the date I chose to be delivered on!! Baring in mind I took a day off work and no one would be in the house that day! I went to use the customer service to explain this and they were so rude! They were implying I was a liar and didn’t chose a day, like I would make it up that I chose a day for it to be delivered! Will not be using curry’s again!

I returned a faulty item back to you Currys I was told that it would take up to ten days for a refund back to my credit card, on calling today and being on the phone for 45 minutes and being transferred to 5 different departments and then being disconnected I am no further forward, The payment was made by credit card so now im in a position where my credit card is charging me interest on the purchase, I have checked you web site and it says it takes up to 10 days for a refund not 15 to 20 days for a refund Avoid Currys dont have care in the world for there customers

Have used currys for years but I doubt I will again simply because customer service is non existent. Live chat and help was advertised but was not actually available. I spent half an hour chasing round and getting nowhere on the currys website before giving up in frustration. Not good enough from a company as big as currys. Fortunately my delivery arrived a day later than expected, which wasn't an issue at all, but as it was sent untracked I dread to think how I would have received help or support if it had gone missing.

After yet another working week of zero response from curry’s. I’m taking to social media to share my shocking experience with your customer service. I purchased a TV from curry’s online on the Black Friday deals for my 6 year old sons Christmas. Wrapped it and hidden away till the big day. Plugged it in and it was damaged.....these things happen, I thought curry’s is a reputable company and will replace it. Contacted curry’s on the 26th December, was told that their policy is to receive the tv bag at the depot to check it over and then they would issue a new TV to be dispatched.....not ideal but sure, these are difficult times and my 6year old understood that Santa just needed to fix it and it would be back in no time! Arranged dpd collection for the 27th December and was told I would receive a text for when the driver would arrive. Was reassured that regardless of the Black Friday deal price, I would receive a replacement tv whether that be the one I ordered or one of similar spec, which I was happy with. Driver arrived without prewarning and refused collection because I didn’t display a label (at no point either on the phone or via email was I advised to do this) so I had them to call back ‘team know how’ to re arrange collection & find out what label I had to supply. The best date she could offer was the 31st and I had to write an address on a piece of paper and tape it to the box and once again reassured I would receive a replacement tv.....ok no problem! Collected eventually! Received an email on Sunday 10th January at 6:32am to say they had received my tv back at the depot but unfortunately they no longer had my tv in stock. Either pick a tv of the same value or they would issue me a refund within 48 hours.....best bit is you can’t respond via email....has to be via telephone when you sit in a queue for 48minutes and the first person hangs up on you. Eventually get to speak to someone. I decline the offer of a refund and advise that the TV I ordered is showing as still available on the website, just now it’s not at the Black Friday price (even though I was told this wouldn’t be an issue). So was told yup, no problem we’ll get this sorted for you, someone will be in touch.......a few days go by and I have not as much as an email. So I message the online team and log a complaint. Then told that the tv is no longer in stock despite being available online. Ok then I am happy to take any TV of the same size ect and supply several options....some cheaper, some more expensive. Was told yes we can do that, you’ll receive an email to confirm within the next couple of days. Nothing. I then contact trading standards to get some advice. They confirm I am within my rights under the consumer rights act, they open a case for me, draft up an email and send it over.....strange thing is the customer services email account isn’t accepting mail at the moment 🤷🏼‍♀️ So I then contact ‘team know how again’ and inform them of the consumer rights case number....’apologies and someone will be in touch by the end of the week’ Week passes and I call in again, and get through to a department where I am told ‘it’s with the back of house team and has been manually dispatched the alternative TV (which was of lesser value but who cares at this point. My boys bedroom sits empty as he desperately waits for his Christmas present) so someone will be in touch by the end of the week to arrange delivery’ Perfect. Happy again. Another week passes and I get zero response from curry’s...no confirmation email, no text, no nothing. I call again, wait in a queue to once again explain the situation, passed from department to department. Eventually speak to someone again who once again tells me.....it’s been passed to the back of house team and has been manually dispatched.....whatever the hell that means. I politely tell her that at this point, with no disrespect, I don’t believe you and can you send me confirmation of this ‘manual for dispatch’ and actually clarify what that means. Unfortunately she can not 🤔 strange. Once again I leave the call with another empty promise of an email from a manager to confirm by the end of the week. Now I am aware that this is Friday and the week has not yet ended but quite frankly I am completely fed up of the disgusting treatment I have received & would like to pre warn others. Not sure whether I’d call this fraud or theft now 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’ll contact trancing standards again today and try from this side. Absolutely disgusting. I’m just glad that I have a very forgiving son who forgives Santa for taking OVER A MONTH to send his TV back!

Expensive Samsung Active 2 Watch bought for my Wife as a Christmas Present. Numerous faults all of which are commonly reported on numerous websites. These were not seen before purchase and I believed the glowing recommendations on Currys website of the watch. The watch was bought in advance of Christmas, but was not opened until Christmas Day. Currys are impossible to contact for an item purchased more than 30 days previously, so a Resolver Case has been started. - I informed Currys via Messenger of the Resolver Case, and was told that there is a four week delay in responding to these cases. - Regardless of Covid-19, that is simply unacceptable, particularly for an expensive item!
