I ordered a MacBook mega safe 2 charger on the 15th July and chose the click and collect option at my local curries pc world. I received an acknowledgement email stating that they will email me once the order is ready to collect. Only to receive an email the following day (16th) stating that my order has been cancelled. I then checked my account and realised that my account was debited £29.99 as well as my gift card of £50. Confused, I tried calling curries twice but the waiting time to be answered was extremely long so I decided to drive to my local curries to investigate why my order was cancelled. When I got there I waited for over an hour before my issue was dealt with by the online customer service team as the in-store customer service team stated they were not able to help. Only to be told that in order to get the charger, I need to purchase one now and wait for my refund which will take 5-10 working days. Despite having the charger in stock and have already been debited; I was able not able to get a charger. No one was able to provide an explanation as to why my order was cancelled. My experience with curries has been extremely difficult and a hassle. I will never return as a customer to curries again and i would strongly advise anyone else considering to purchase from this company to explore other options that offers better customer service.

Drive thru service was exactly what it wasn't supposed to be. I arrived at the store, announced my arrival, completed the details of my order plus car details and opened the boot. When I reached 1 on the waiting list an assistant appeared, asked me to come into the store and complete my details there. You shouldn't promote what you cannot do.

Had to have a printer at short notice. Waited and it didn't come only to call customer service after three days and be told that the printer was out of stock and they were not able to get a printer to me. No one seemed really bothered about the inconvenience or the fact that they hadn't bothered to inform me and I could be waiting for a month.

Company offer a terrible after-service/after care with misrepresented products (ASUS). Emailed company and their head office and their customer service email 20 times over the last 3 months and no response. There online chat has also been terrible saying I need to email or ring. Ringing itself is a 2 hour wait and even then you get cut off .HIGHLY AVOID. Spent £10,000's here, even ordered some airpod pros last week with the product missing (under investigation). A company with good prices but appalling after care.

Absolutely shocking company...save ur money go else where, they maybe cheap in something's, but when u get issues, then ur stuffed....I bought a LG tv 7 months ago, got a faulty with it, tech team took it away, deemed unrepairable, gave me a voucher to get like for like, now my TV is not available, next model up is £40 more, I dont see why I should have pay extra for something that's not may fault...so they've taken my faulty tv, they've deemed it unrepairable, given me voucher to get another like for like but want me to pay more for a replacement...now that's not right!!! Waiting for my full refund I will go else where and get a tv...I dont want to give them my hard earned money...crooks!!

The customer service is abysmal. We purchased two items today worth £700.00 and we also wanted to buy a soundbar however they could not find the remote control, chose another soundbar this was not in stock. Our experience today started by waiting 45 minutes in a queue, signs stated 43 people only allowed in store on entering counted 5 customers and three floor staff. Last time I will be shopping in Currys.

Its amazing how many companies are using Covid 19 as an excuse to furlough staff and let the government pay the wages. I bought 2 computer screens during covid which arrived within one working day. 5 STAR SERVICE and could not be any better. Now it comes to returning the items as not suitable and there is no facility to email. No facility to phone without waiting for over 45 mins and that is when I gave up. Arranged the returns online in the end but no one ever contacted me to collect them so I have now taken them back to my local store who refunded one but said they were unable to refund the other BUT DONT WORRY as some one will contact you within 24 hours to arrange to collect it. Still waiting 7 days later. I wonder if currys could actually go bankrupt given that there must be hundreds and thousands of people in the same boat as me waiting to return something for a refund. Worse than poor service

Ordered a new TV from Currys and opted to pay an additional £15 for them to take away the old TV and the packaging for the new TV. All went well until the delivery arrived - they took away the old TV fine but utterly refused to take the packaging for the old TV. 'No - we aren't allowed to take the packaging because when you need to return your TV the company won't take it unless it is in the original packaging.' As such, I am now not sure how long my new TV is going to last and will have to find somewhere to store a huge box for a 55" TV. Either that or take a trip to the dump with the packaging at some stage, in which case I would have been as well taking the old TV too. I feel utterly ripped off and have been on hold to Customer Services for more than 2 hours now. Complete charlatans - just not sure if it is Currys themselves or their delivery drivers.

Ended up writing to them in Sheffield--NO ALTERNATIVE. I was cosidering replacing my Laptop from them. Forget it! Amazon and Argos have much more respect fot theit customers.

Ordered online after site alleges stock for next day collection, but the very next step is take your money. After they have your money everything changes. Now you need to wait 2 days before collection, they will advise by email. But 2 days later no email, try customer service number after 1h:34m gave up. Trying again today if I can't get through will go to store to find where my order actually is as the tracking system don't recognise order numbers. Never ever again will I use the bunch of con artists, only ordered because they claimed it was in stock and could be collected next day. Nothing but lies to grab your money and should you cancel refund will take 14 days not the same day when paying

On the 26th March 2020 I placed an order that was due for delivery 28th March 2020 and was received on that date.On the 24th June 2020 I contacted Curry’s to complain about the FF item and was advised that an engineer would come out to view the item on the 3rd July 2020, for this period of waiting I left my item on despite the horrendous smell that was making me physically sick where I was vomiting, I had to leave my front door open and unable to use the kitchen – Livingroom. I was reduced to tears because of the smell. Two helpful gentleman visited the property to see what the issue was, they too found the same issue and reported this, they advised me that the details of their visit would be on the system and to make contact as I would need an exchange of item. They also pointed out that I had purchased a fridge freezer that I did not need as I purchased an integrated one when I needed a standard fridge freezer. I then rang customer service that morning 03.07.20 at 09.17am 1 hour 45min and 17 secs duration, I spoke to a help gentleman, informed him of the outcome of my visit to which he confirmed a record was on the system (I believe this was Know How Team). I explained my concerns as well as highlighting the I am in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy and have a Disability - Multiple Sclerosis. He stated that I could have an exchange and to look for a fridge freezer online within the same or low price range, that there was only one manager on and her needed to get authorisation for the exchange. He confirmed that he would call me back within 10 mins, that did not happen. At 15:35 call duration of 2hours 21mins and 58secs I called back as I was becoming stressed out without any idea what was happening, knowing I was feeling sick with no idea whether they smell that was coming from the fridge was safe for me to inhale as a pregnant woman. I knew the fridge needed to be switched off with no means to ensure my food or medication were in a cool place. After be passed through three separate teams where I had to keep repeating the issue. The last person was a lady who did not appear to care when I explained how I was feeling and the impact of the situation, she stated that it would need to be Kenwood who deal with the issue and they would need to come out and see the item to verify the issue was in fact there as the other visit was from the Know How Team. I explained my concerns as well as highlighting the I am in the 3rd trimester of pregnancy and have a Disability - Multiple Sclerosis that I had been self-isolating, feeling overwhelmed owing to spending hours of my time dealing with this issue with no resolve. I urged that the booked visit for 8th July 2020 be sooner stating my need for the fridge freezer, she stated that there are always cancellations and I could be contacted before the 8th July 2020. This was not the case, at this point item was switched off and I had no means to store anything, I cried as I was so upset and felt overwhelmed, unheard and no supported despite my plead that I urgently needed an exchange. A gentleman attended my property 8th July 2020 around 8-8.30am from, he was very knowledgeable and found the issue stating the awful smell was coming from the lower back of the fridge and therefore turned it off again. He advised me that someone should call me to arrange an exchange. I did not receive a call so I again contacted 08.07.20 at 18:36 call duration 1 hours 1 min and 37secs. I spoke to two separate gentleman both of which were very polite and understanding although limited in what they could do as the department I needed had closed at 18:00. I explained to them both that I have just under two weeks until my baby is due, that I have MS that has flared up where was not feeling well, feeling so annoyed that I paid my hard earned money and have spend the past few weeks buying take away having to go to the shops once a day just to get breakfast, a bag of ice a day which I leave in the sink so I can at least have cold water all because of this ridiculous delay. Over the past 3 months I have purchased a washing machine £250 and TV £470 and the FF £299 all from Curry’s, I am now of the view that I will not use Curry’s again for future purchases although i had no choice but to order another FF for next day delivery costing £319 plus £30 delivery. Yet to get confirmation of my refund of £299. This treatment is unfair, a pregnant woman who has a disability cannot even be supported by Curry’s to address an issue that was out of my control, I have a faulty item that needs to be replaced yet there is no sense of urgency it is still in my property! what is more I have spent over 6 hours of my time contacting Curry’s, they have not contacted me. I do not get paid for that time and each time I am left in the same position. Worst part is to complain you cannot email them it has to be by post. So if you decide to purchase an item be prepared for the above responses, they dont care. Awful... Zero stars is need although no option to select zero.

Made my purchase online, which said was IN STOCK middle of June. Took my money and had a delivery date of 30th June. Following day was sent an email to say wasn’t in stock but expected more of the product 5th July. Email stated to ring them straight away if I didn’t want to wait and I would get a refund. Continually phoning that number for hours with no reply. An e mail address which was mentioned doesn’t exist as my emails have been returned. I’m not happy as would never have placed the order if item wasn’t in stock.
