Essentially a drop-shipping company. There is no use in ordering online; if something is delivered and you're not in the office they return the items to their warehouse and credit your account, no second chances! The website "stock" amount does not correspond with what items they have available in the warehouse and it takes them a week to tell you they don't have the ordered items available. If you'd like any items on their website you're better off going in-store, however the prices are substantially higher there (having checked). All issued credit notes can only be used in-store meaning you are tied into spending more. Having ordered a laptop for delivery (and chased more than 5 times), then subsequently told the item is no longer available, I will not have the item necessary to run my business for the first month of the year. Avoid at all costs.

Order not delivered. Wont refund money for a week. Terrible customer service. Is Currys the next company to go bust? DON'T USE THEM!!!

I took my desktop to fix at Currys PC, they have made a diagnosis of the problem and chosen a line of action, the hard disk has been changed. Weeks later my computer was not working again, I took it back to the store and they said it was a graphic card problem. Actually, it was not a hard disk problem and I have lost all my files in the process. I could pay again to change my graphic card, but I lost trust in their expertise. I wouldn't mind paying for a new graphic card and a new hard disk at the beginning of the process, but weeks after being fixed shows that they don't know much about computers and actually don't really care about client's satisfaction. They haven't recognized their mistake and refused to give me a refund. Also,they have been rude to me. I have bought a new computer.

Utterly disgraceful customer service. Delivery driver blatantly lied. Said my drive was blocked so he couldn’t deliver. My drive was clear he just hadn’t been. When I rang him suddenly his lock on his van had broke so he had to finish early. Customer service couldn’t care less. Next deliver slot in 4 days when we are all back at work. If I can’t take a holiday from work it will have to be 6 days so I will have to wait in all day and give up my weekend. Avoid Curry’s like the plague if you value your time and money

Went to currys in Chelmsford Essex 28 December. They wiped credit off two gift cards because their tills froze and expect me to contact the gift card company and thought I was going to pay for the item. Before they give advice on computers or anything electrical they should have people who can work the till and that includes the unhelpful manager who was acting the IT expert but was just as useful as the other two members of staff. Wont be buying from these clowns anymore. One star as cannot leave zero

I bought a Samsung oven in October 2018, it's now 29th December 2019. The oven is in its 3rd breakdown ( as am I now) and is yet to be fixed so we haven't been able to use it since Saturday 20th December. It 1st broke down in March, then on the 22nd of November...wasn't fixed until 7th December and now again its broke. Went to Curry's, and yes the staff are nice, but didn't solve my problem. So no Christmas lunch for us this year. We are both pensioners, my husband is ill, yet that doesn't matter to Currys. They will gladly take your money, but your literally on your own from then on. Yes we have a team know how plan (by the way, what a pain it is getting through to them) but the oven is still under Samsung warranty, so currys won't do anything for me. But I bought it from them so surely should take some responsibility for the products they sell. The oven is supposed to be repaired on 31st December. I hope so.

Had to return a faulty TV 2 weeks old. Very easy to deal with Curry’s Hereford. Happily exchanged, no questions asked. Update receipt and reloaded car with new TV. Excellent service

Purchased dishwasher when unpacked was found to have damaged door, they sent an engineer eventually who turned up with a new door catch , how a door catch can fix a damaged door is beyond me. The engineer was unable to fix door, Currys don’t want to know and keep passing the buck. Unbelievable you couldn’t make it up. My advice is AVOID CURRYS

Worst employees for product knowledge. Went in to purchase a tumble dryer after hours of online research to be persuaded by a sales person to upgrade to a different product with the reassurance it meets all my requirements and more. Got home to read the instructions not available in store to find it was missing an important feature for me, sensor dry technology. Next visit to by a multi cooker, sales person, same idiot that didn't know about the tumble dryer approached me to assist, I asked if the multi cooker was compatible with sous vide, blank expression and the that fateful comment " I guess so". Why not take the time to find out, confirm her beliefs and then update me on her knowledge. Upon the words "I guess so", I walked out in anger at the lack of training and knowledge of the sales staff. Buy online don't trust the sales people and do your own research. Buy on Amazon for better customer service and consumer rights.

I placed an order for a JVC - LT-40C890 40" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV on 28 November, when it arrived it didn't have all the apps installed as stated online. ITV Hub, All 4 and My 5 were missing. It took 3 attempts of phoning, waiting on hold for up to an hour each time to get through to the online team. I was told that they would get it lifted and a replacement (SHARP - 2T-C40BG5KG2FB 40" Smart Full HD LED TV) would be sent out. When DPD came out to lift the TV they refused to lift it as they said there was no label on it even though they were supposed to bring a label with them. I then arranged for them to lift it a 2nd time which they didn't even turn up. I phoned the online team again and as before I was put on hold for up to an hour and it took 2 attempts to get through. The TV was finally lifted on the 9 December. I waited onto the 13 December to get a message of when the replacement TV would be arriving. I phoned again on the 13 December, again it took 2 attempts to get through to the online team. I was told there still was no record of the TV being returned. The replacement TV arrived on Christmas Eve, but when I tried to put it on my wall bracket it was the wrong vesa size. Again the incorrect information was on the website. It stated on the website that the SHARP - 2T-C40BG5KG2FB 40" Smart Full HD LED TV was vesa mounted 200 x 200 but when it came it was 200 x 300. Not only have I been without a TV for all this time but now I would be without one over Christmas. I have purchased items from Curry's in the past, but sadly I have to say that I am very disappointed in the service that I have received from Curry's.

I ordered a sharp tv out of currys online and was delivered to my home, Christmas present for my partners daughter . As I unboxed this item I noticed the screen cracked so my partner took this item back to a currys store in lisburn waiting a hour on store to finally open as just finished working a night shift herself, took tv in store and the abuse out of the stores person was unbelievable plus didn't have the same tv in stock so had to drive into Belfast to another currys store as they had the same tv and as she arrived the sales person said they had none left (so much for stock check) so my partner picked another tv adding more money to this item to get home and this tv was the exact same screen cracked. I phoned currys help line that were terrible so a drive to currys store at newtownabbey to finally get the same tv delivered on Saturday as the one we wanted wasn't in stock surprise surprise. Surely what's going with this company

Bought a tv from them had it less than 6 months picture faulty, took cover out at time, said I wanted a new tv as it was faulty, they said it would be repaired as covered, it was picked up, I had no back up tv and waited a week to get it back, had it back 2 days later noticed the screen casing was loose, rang them they said they would put it right, I said I want a new one as lost confidence, the guy in the phone was really arrogant and said it would be repaired. I gave up on them. Never buy from them again, they deserve to lose business. I gave 1 star only because you have to

Ordered a fridge, freezer and tumbler form Curry’s. Fridge didn’t work (felt warm to the touch). Waited from Friday to Tuesday for engineer to repair. He said it couldn’t be repaired and that Curry’s would ring the next day to arrange replacement. No call Wed or Thu so I rang and was told that the engineer’s report had said that it was fixed. I had to ring engineer. Curr’s didn’t read both parts of report. About 15 calls later including literally hours of being on hold, between engineers, Curry’s repair and Team Knowhow I’ve just been told to wait for a call from the shop that I bought it in to arrange replacement. Absolute farce of a system and a disgrace that we paid so much money and have been left with no way to keep food fresh for over a week now. Would not recommend and will definitively be going elsewhere to buy in future. Some phone staff helpful. Others rude and argumentative.

I ordered a fridge freezer with obviously delivery and taking away of my old. They started to take my old one out and although one had said to take the doors off the other decided to proceed with ramming the appliance through rthe doorway using his feet to kick off the handle rails with bits of plastic debris flying round my kitchen. The result to my door frame and door was heartbreaking.
