“Black Friday nightmare.. gift card voucher wiped by their website crashing.. taking over a week to sort out. loads of hassle, no compensation absolutely rubbish customer service. Will go to Argos in future!”

“"We can't process this order" - two gift cards. It has reduced my £500 gift card to 0! And I have not received anything and can't confirm the order. They have taken £500 for nothing - even after I spoke to them on the phone and was told to contact them via Twitter etc. 5 hours and they've actually taken money from the gift card with nothing in return. Absolutely, must avoid at all costs!”

“More than 1k spend on several goods that happened to be out of stock (tho available in the site). One day waiting for a delivery that never happened. After an hour on the phone, I managed to talk to one customer service rep that informed me my order had to be cancelled, in not good enough for the job English. There seemed to be no plan to let us know of all of this until I called. They claimed they won't charge us for the items, but the money did leave our bank account. They mentioned we need to wait for two weeks to get our money back!!!!! Webchat service unavailable, talking to a real person is a real chore. Give us our money ASAP. A disgrace of a company.”

“Currys are the worst company I have ever had dealings with. Their delivery notifications and customer service are nonexistent. When forced to continuously chase them, all I got was we will let you know with the delivery date! I had to chase them for whole month to get my product which was paid for at the outset. I would not use this company ever again. Maria”

“Lets just say 1 star is too good for curry's - they deserve a -5 stars! Having moved into our new home last year, we bought all of our appliances from Currys. This was a big mistake!!! December last year, was curry's first visit to us, delivering our washing machine and dishwasher. The only thing was, the washing machine was damaged and not usable. They also plumbed in our dishwasher but after the first use, it leaked everywhere! On curry's second trip in January, after waiting two weeks for replacements for both appliances, they finally plumbed in correctly the washing machine and the dishwasher (or so we thought!). Once again, the dishwasher leaked all over the floor. We ended up asking for a full refund on our dishwasher because one, the dishwasher brand was clearly not holding water, and secondly because we later found out that they plumbed it in incorrectly. As well as this, we have had numerous issues with Currys from their products, and mainly their customer service both instore and online/phone. One year later and this issue still hasn't resolved. They tried to resolve the issue and pay compensation to us to close the case (which we agreed to) but once the case was closed, they paid nothing! After making several complaints and being ignored every single time, we have taken this issue higher. We are telling everyone we know not to buy from curry's and we recommend you go elsewhere to buy your products. Absolutely disgusting company and we will never buy from them ever again.”

“I have bought 2 washing machines in the last 2 years from them. The last I had for only 5 months. It took 3 weeks for the engineer to come out to say it was irreparable. I then waited another week to get an exchange code. Going into week 5 now and still no exchange or refund sorted. I will never buy from them again, take my advice, Don't buy from Currys! Some how there getting away with selling junk!”

“Sent coffee machine for repair. Had phone call saying repaired. Told me would post out to me still waiting 3 weeks later. Customersevice worst I have ever dealt with had 3 phone calls from them promising I would get it back. STILL. WAITING. I would advise you to buy. From a reputable company. After being a loyal customer of curry’s for many years. I will never buy a product from them ever again.”

“If you are considering getting KnowHow to install your appliance. Stop now and don't even go any further. I paid for installation of my appliance and the brackets have been bent don't align up which causes the dishwasher door not to close properly and they have damage the side of my until too. There a screw left protruding on the bracket which scratches the dishwasher each time you open it. Never again .....in future I will use the trusted John Lewis.”

“This is the second product, an LG Fridge Freezer (first was damaged washing machine) that we have bought from Currys beginning of the year. Within months it stopped working properly, and a door was replaced as a result. However 6 repairs and 4 doors later it still does not work. So I've only had a working Fridge Freezer for 3 months of the 9 months we've owned it. The last 2 times the repair guy has not showed up. I can't get through to customer services. I've written a letter with no response. I have 3 doors sat in my house, a 2yr old and, an unwell wife, and trying to work full time, I just don't have the mental capacity any more to be dealing with all this, I just need a product that works :-(”

“Absolutely furious. Pre-ordered PS5 in September but order messed up due to a Currys technical tissue. Could not order another as the pre-order code had become invalid. Contacted loads of times just to get fobbed off and told they had no stock yet they release some for sale on launch day. Bunch of liars with no care for their customers, do not give this company your business!”

“Won't provide proce match continually saying my item can not be found / don't sell this item. Blatant lies. Not only is it considerably more expensive they refuse to honour price match as advertised. Bad customer service in store and on social”

“Worst service of my life ever. I had to get my washing machine replaced from Currys since it broke within its 1 year guarantee. this is the 5th Call I'm having with this Team Know How, and no one even know the process how to get a replacement done. after 4th Call, a delivery was scheduled today, but no one turned up. now as I write this review, i'm on call speaking to 5th person who also cant assist well enough and i'm on hold till he speaks to his colleagues to find what he should be doing. No idea how many more calls I might end up doing to get my replacement machine.”

“Everything was fast and seamless when you buy something from them. From online shopping, transaction, all the way to delivery. Fast! But expect the opposite when you're making a return. The chat representative is quick to close the chat for just a few minutes of idle time on your part. You may be checking an order number or transaction number, the next thing you know they've closed the chat. It's like every single chat rep has diarrhea and fleeing for the bathroom. The pick-up courier is the opposite too, they wait for you to come out if it's a delivery, but when it's a return, it's like the zombie apocalypse with these couriers.”

“If I could give minus stars I would. Treatment of customers is disgraceful after reporting my washing machine not working 6 weeks ago and an engineer condemning the machine I cannot get any further. Spent hours on hold over the last 5 weeks and various staff advising that I’ll hear within 24 hours or 7 - 10 days still nothing. I would not recommend Know How as they have broken their contract in every way possible. The pandemic is used as an excuse, staff are working from home there is no acceptable excuse for the unbelievable waiting times where you are placed on hold or for the delay issuing a voucher”
