I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing! Bought online a washer/dryer and paid for installation/connection and disposal of old appliance. They delivered the new washer/dryer, failed to install it because they couldn't get the old one out and also failed to take the old one away. Not quite sure what I paid for. Rude delivery people to top it off. Called customer services and they said I'd have to book in for another crew to install and remove on another day. Never purchase from Currys!!!

We visited currys in Cribbs Causeway Bristol to buy a Delognghi YELLOW Kettle & Toaster, when we got there we could not find any in a box so we asked a assistant to find one. He came back to inform us that they were out of stock, Ok we would buy the shop display, only to be informed that we could not as it was the last ones. We then asked if another branch had stock to be be informed yes Chippingham & Glos has then in. we then asked if they could be transferred from either shop to Bristol. To our amazement, currys cant do that as they have no transport scheme in place. I did ask them if they had heard of Amazon as they work in the 21st century unlike currys, lets hope we see less curry shops in the future.

We are having a problem with Newbury Currys PC World Branch. Very un polite manager, unhelpful in resolving refund for faulty hoover. We took vacuum cleaner back on the 3th of January 2019 in the evening and asked for the refund, so we could perches a different vacuum cleaner, as two of the same model we purchased there had the same fault within 2 months. We still don't have refund. We don't recommend this store.

NEVER NEVER EVER AGAIN I have bought several items from Currys, and had planned to buy many more for our properties, but have come back from the Workington store very angry. I was a retailer before so knew my rights, but was flat out told that things had changed, that multi nationals were all the same and I had no rights with Currys, my only recourse was to the manufacturer. A washing machine stopped working after two months, and we struggled to get it repaired, It has now stopped again just before its 7 month anniversary. I said I expected a washer to last more than seven months, but no not nowadays says the manager, he hears often from people that they expect Currys to sort out a problem, but the law has changed, says he, and it is no longer the company who sold the machine who are liable, customers must just rely on the warranty, I should have bought insurance says he, then everything would have been fine. My plan had been to sort out the washer problem and buy a good quality printer today. COMPLETE LIARS, could never trust them again. DO THEY GET AWAY WITH CHEATING MORE VUNERABLE CUSTOMERS. THEY MUST.

I am abserlutly furious!! I ordered a washing machine on the 22nd of December from curry online, I received a email stating one would be delivered on the 29th of December between 10 and 2, 5pm came and still no contact or washing machine by this time i had called already 3 time to fine out where it was and one lady was rude and had no idea what she was talking about, next two time I spoke to a very nice and polite male that said they were 5 hours behind and there last delivery is 7pm so has to be delivered by then!! 9pm came and they turn up, when the packerging came off it was all smashed in. So they took this one away and the next day I have to spend part of my day sorting for a new one to be delivered asap because we are a family of 6 with a new born!! They said it would come on the 2nd January but can't give a time till the night before (so going away for the new year with the family was out the window) I changed it to the 3rd with no trouble at all. On the 3rd they came ON TIME took it out the packerging and OH YES AGAIN it had been dropped and it was smashed all up the back and side GREAT (also leaving rubbish on the front of my property), so we sent it back and called asked if there was an item we could collect in store in east sussex? no sorry all out of stock. I then had to call the delivery team asking if they can send one out asap they said "we only have one that's 2x down graded" OK SEND THAT OUT!!!. So they give me the delivery day of TODAY 6th January, we call early this morning asking the time it would be with us because we never received the text yesterday and the lady said "we're sorry the man never placed the order for you so there will be no item coming out" FANTASTIC! So still after 3weeks we are left with no washing machine that was paid for just a rubbish refund just before the mad school rush week!! THANK YOU CURRYS AND THE KNOW HOW TEAM FOR ABSERLUTLY NOTHING!!

Found the shop expensive. Staff were uninformed, was looking at Amazon echo dot. Priced £49.99, staff member said they were cheapest around, not sure if was new or showing off but said I could buy for cheaper price if found elsewhere. Showed him the current price on Amazon (£29.99) for the latest 3rd gen mobile, was then refused the offer of buying at cheaper price

My experience with Curry’s has been atrocious to say the least, after buying a bundle (the PlayStation VR, which came with 5 games) and waiting a week for it to be delivered. I found that the booklet containing the codes for the games, had a page ripped out, specifically, the page with the codes. After calling them and complaining that they had not given me the full package that I had asked for, they had the cheek to tell me to go and call Sony. Not only that, but the other solution they offered was for me to return the product. The problem was not with the fact that I didn’t receive what I bought, it was the fact that they did not solve their own issues, but rather pushed it onto Sony to fix. I don’t even expect Curry’s to sort this problem out due to their poor customer service. I don’t recommend anyone even bothers buying products from Curry’s, because as soon as a problem rises, they choose to be ignorant towards it. Curry’s needs some serious help. What a joke!

NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! The worst experience in my life! The customer service is just a joke, liars and unprofessional people! Totally agree with all unhappy comments...if only I knew! Collected our Tv on 05/12 , keep sending texts about a delivery and never come, time wasters and liars! They don’t worth our money!

I bought a TV during the 'Why Wait Promotion.' I was assured, by the sales assistant, that if the price of the product was reduced during the black tag event I would be refunded the difference. The price of the TV was reduced during the event and I took a photo to prove it. But when trying to claim a refund, I was informed that the product was not included in the deal. Therefore I was lied to by the salesman. These promotions are not worth the paper they are written on. I have given 1 star because there is no option to give 0 star.

I spoke to your customer services today about your price promise. The lady was very hard to understand and all I could hear in the background were staff laughing and joking ( I take it this department is offshore) anyway she told me quite abruptly you do not price match with e. Cookshop. I will take my custom to John Lewis who do price match with internet retailers. Your customer service is absolutely appalling.

I ordered an Amazon Fire TV Stick with Alexa remote, on Friday around 1pm. It stated on the Currys website that if I ordered within a certain time frame, I would be guaranteed delivery today (Saturday). I went ahead with the order ONLY because I was supposed to have it delivered today. I received a confirmation email for my order, which stated I would receive another email when the item was dispatched. As I still hadn't received my dispatched email today, I decided to call customer services. They informed me that I wouldn't be receiving my goods today and they couldn't tell me when it would be delivered, so I told them that I wanted to cancel my order as I'd only ordered it on the understanding that it would be delivered by today. I was then informed that I couldn't cancel my order until I received my tracking number, which I won't receive until tomorrow. After doing a little research into the matter, I have since found out that this information is totally false, as I should be able to cancel my order at any time especially since I haven't received a dispatched email. I don't know what's more upsetting, the fact that I was conned into ordering something due to false advertising, or that customer services has lied to me by saying I can't cancel the order. They're very quick to take the money out of your bank account, but then after that it's see you later. I wish I had read the reviews for Currys before I ordered, as I would have just stuck with Amazon or Argos.

Ordered an oven on the 20th December, got told by currys that the order was going to be delivered today (23rd) was told the delivery time was between 14:50 And 18:50 waited in for delivery no phone call no delivery. It was saying on its way, and now nearly 3 hours after the delivery time schedules tracking is now saying going to be delivered on the 27th, it is absolutely disgraceful! Cooker was needed to cook Christmas meal which was stated to currys. That can now not happen. Thanks for ruining my Merry Christmas!!!! Absolute joke.

Delivery an absolute shambols. Had delivery booked for a fridge freezer, waited in all day and they didnt turn up. Customer services told me they turned up but no one was at home, which is a lie as we were in all day. Then they said they tried phoning but couldnt get an answer! Funny, as i had no missed calls. Then they said they were 15 miles away and couldnt turn round to complete delivery! So angry!! Took a day off work and have a load of defrosting food ! Dont trust their delivery dates and times! Seems if they dont want to deliver they will make up lies and leave you without!

We all want a good deal and have busy life styles so we look for the best deal that ticks all the boxes this does not always mean price, but my experience with Currys left us with poor customer not once but on several occasions costing us more in the long run, having spent nearly £3500 and having to return / replace 3 products, getting this products returned or replaced took a total of 9 hours on the phone being passed from department to department having the phone put down not to mention the trips to return products and days wasted waited for failed collections, and Currys response £50 and a 2 paragraph email... we will now use local companies even if a little more expensive because in the long run we would have saved money on these purchases

This company deserves to go out of business - the sooner the better!! The level of negligence, ignorance and lies in their customer service is staggering. If you happen to hold any shares in Dixons - sell them ASAP!! I have my reasons to believe, that what happened to me is not an isolated incident and that disregard toward customers is a systemic problem at this company - sooner or later this will sink the entire business and the management is too blind to even see it. Hundreds of negative reviews online confirm my view. My old washing machine died of natural causes and I needed one ASAP. I looked at the Currys web page and found out that I was able to book a delivery and installation within a week - Perfect!! - I had enough clean undies to survive. Shortly after my payment had been accepted by Currys, I was texted by "TEAM KNOWHOW", who confirmed the delivery date - THREE DAYS AFTER THE ONE I HAD BOOKED!!!! - after spending countless hours on the phone with Currys customer service, I found out that there was nothing I could do about it as deliveries are handled by an outside company - It took a lot of deep breathing to get over the anger. So I had another delivery date scheduled - for yesterday. I took a day off work and waited patiently - only to find out that my delivery had to be cancelled. As it was my BIRTHDAY, I had very little desire to argue with robotic customer service people. I was offered another delivery date - TODAY. And guess what. I took a day off work, waited patiently and IT WAS F...... CANCELLED AGAIN! This time none even bothered to call me and inform about it!!! So to sum up - Curries was happy to take my money and then waste 3 days of my life including my Birthday, and at the end of it, I am left frustrated with a pile of dirty laundry and no washing machine in sight. I am cancelling my order and going with a more reputable company. IF YOURE READING THIS AND CONSIDER BUYING SOMETHING WITH CURRYS - PLEASE DON'T. THEY DONT DESERVE YOUT MONEY, TIME AND ENERGY.

Curry's have ruined Christmas. Curry's have ruined Christmas. We ordered our dream fridge from Currys. We've been renovating our new house for a year, and the fridge was the last thing to go in. The two delivery guys brought the fridge in and were advised by our builder to pick up the fridge and put it in position (my two builders offered to pick up the fridge with the delivery guys). The delivery guys said no, and attempted to squeeze it through past our kitchen island. In the process, they scratched the island (a 40cm deep scratch) and ruined it. Plus they didn't plumb the fridge in (despite us paying for them to do so) and they also didn't attach the fridge handles. In total the damage is: - a scratched and ruined kitchen island - scratched floor tiles - the fridge is also damaged from where it scraped against the island - the plaster on the wall has also come off in part from the impact of the fridge. We are so incredibly upset and have been told by Currys we'll have to wait 5-7 days for an official reply. It's ruined our excitement to move into our new house, we're having to get multiple tradespeople in to fix it. If I could give a 0 star I would.
