I bought a brand new Chrombook for the new year and two months later It's faulty. Anyone would think, fair enough let's fix it - or something, not Curry's! I'm outside their 30 day refund window and they are unable to help me - cheers guys! If I could give you 0 starts - I would - I am never, never buying from you again - unless of course, I'm only going to use it for a few weeks.

Worst online shopping experience ever Ordered a fridge-freezer. Delivered OK but installation and door reversal cancelled 3 times, sometimes without notice. So waited in for 4 days. Have complained, with no response. Impossible to contact them (rung and woman put me on hold then never picked up). Buy elsewhere if you possibly can.

I will never buy from Currys again. I'm not sure where to start with describing how awful and mismanaged Curry's after purchase customer services are. From their delivery man who damaged the door of the fridge freezer and didn't level it off, despite my reminding him that was part of the service. To the fiasco of its customer service - which doesn't exist. However I did discover through another Review site posts, that an entity called Letusknow responded. They turn out to be social media communications! They did the best they could with trying to resolve a further fiasco with Currys outsourced Tech Team and subcontracted Engineers that don't communicate with eachother. Following many emails from me plus calls and texts to the Tech Team, after 2 weeks I eventually got a new door fitted. But I had to contact Currys again to get the old door, its packaging and huge box taken away ! I did so, but after a week of silence from them, had to get a friend help me take it to the recycling centre as it took up so much room in my house. No acknowledege of the degree of stress and time wasted has been made, though a Currys voucher has been offered as an apology. The fridge freezer is OK, but in hindsight I could have saved myself a lot of time and stress buying elsewhere.

Worst customer service of any big company. Forget about ever getting through to somebody on the phone and even if you do, the chances are they will cut you off. And if you go in store they will just direct you to call customer service because it's an online order. Spend a little more and go to John Lewis instead.

WARNING: DO NOT PURCHASE FROM CURRYS IF YOU ARE EXPECTING ANY KIND OF REASONABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE OR AFTER CARE!! I purchased a Hoover H-Wash 300 Plus Washer Dryer in Sept 2020 (Note: our previous washer dryer lasted more than 10 years), last month it stopped drying, so I contacted customer support for help thinking that as it was only just out of warranty, so still relatively young in it's expected lifespan and an expensive appliance, they would be reasonable in terms of consumer rights and expected standards of product quality/durability. The level of customer service I have experienced from Currys is absolutely dreadful. I was initially passed from pillar to post, each time being told that the representative couldn't help other than to arrange a one-off paid repair, or a more expensive care plan subscription (both at cost to myself), both of which I refused. "OK, in which case, you need to speak to the Out Of Warranty team, I'll put you through", back on hold, on to the next representative, rinse repeat 7-8 times. Finally got annoyed at this and was told that the Out Of Warranty team was actually not available on the phone, email only and would take 4-6 weeks to respond. Not sure why the first representative couldn't tell me that?! When I escalated to a manager to complain they assured me that they would address the poor customer service I'd experienced. They corrected the information about 4-6 week response (apparently it's actually within 72 hours), and logged my claim with the OOW team. The OOW team requested an independent engineer report to verify the nature of the fault in order to establish liability. I had to pay for this myself (but was assured this would be reimbursed if liability was with Currys), so I carried that out and sent it across. I was then offered a sum to go back to the same independent engineer (not a Currys/Hoover engineer, which was what I was expecting) to carry out the repair outlined in his report. I was quite prepared to do this but before accepting the money queried what would happen if the "likely cause" of the fault was not what the engineer had initially thought, and required additional work to fix the appliance (as that's all I'm really interested in). It was at this point that I was told that no, this was a one and done, if the initial repair didn't resolve the problem, then that was tough, they considered the matter resolved. I offered to go back to the independent engineer to obtain a further report based on a guaranteed fix (as that felt like a reasonable approach), rather than an initial repair, but this was refused. I then requested an escalation to management, which was also refused until I questioned their processes (or lack thereof). At which point I was provided with a link to 3rd party https://www.ceoemail.com/ and told "you can escalate this matter to our CEO team using the link provided below, however they will just advise of the same resolution we have provided previously". Seems like a weird/unconventional escalation process? As far as I'm concerned, if you admit liability for a faulty product, then the onus is on you to resolve that issue. With Currys this apparently does not apply. Very disappointed with the level of customer service, will not be buying any products from Currys in the future and will definitely warn anyone off the same. USE JOHN LEWIS INSTEAD (their customer service has always been exceptional, I'm clearly a fool for expecting the same out of Currys)!

I’ve had an absolutely appalling service so far from currys this year 2022 it’s so bad you can’t make it up my Oled tv developed a manufacturing fault it was sold with a 5 year guarantee included I got them to change the screen but after that it’s been downhill all the way the tv arrived back with a new fault damaged hdmi point/socket half an hour after receiving the tv back I’m told I have to send it back for another repair i it’s an expensive tv costing £1500 so I’ve said I want the tv repaired in my house this time it’s an LG so if LG do the repair they come to your house. Currys said no it has to go back I consulted consumer rights who said I don’t have to except that the tv goes back again as currys have had their chance to repair the tv so I’ve requested repair in house or replacement or refund currys said either way the tv has to come back anyway their just ignoring my rights completely I phoned currys customer care for email address to send copy of consumer rights letter but currys customer service gave me a bogus email address of currys.services.co.uk so the email came back saying currys do not use this email address anymore i phoned currys again to be told they don’t have any email addresses anymore that’s another lie by their customer service team who also said they know what the law is better than the government run consumer rights scotland I said I again I want a replacement or refund and was told by customer care you’ve lost your tv theme we will keep it i asked to make a complaint and it was refused i then asked for a manager to call back and was told maybe someone will get back to you in 29 days I then requested a refund and was told even if you get one it will be less than half of what you paid yet the tv is only 14 months old they said they have to take it the tv back either way so booked it for pick up today when the guy arrived he was rude and intimidated my wife as I was I’ll in bed as I have a heart condition my wife is also disabled he grabbed the tv a new screen two days old with dirty hands pulled the tv it knocking my sound bar equipment smashing on to the floor then shouted you should have taken the stand of anyway to my wife never apologised and roughly manhandled the tv with new screen turning the tv upside down changing the tv position several times to unscrew a couple of screws then left the stand in the middle of the floor and said we’ll be bringing the tv back on such and such day wether you like it or not ignoring the fact I’ve got a consumer rights case going in despite for a refund. Every one I’ve spoken to or dealt with at currys has been appalling like theirs no customer service at all like they don’t want anymore business or custom from anyone. I wouldn’t be surprised if currys go out of business completely with their antics it’s clearly not acceptable how they treat customers at the moment it certainly doesn’t want to make you come back to buy anything theirs so many company’s now where you can get all the same goods with a decent service and cheaper.

It is true to say if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. It's also very telling indeed, when a company makes it so incredibly difficult to raise a complaint with them and runs down the clock on refunds. One star is generous for this company on the whole. Not just the Canterbury store where the incident took place. The entire setup is rigged in the favour of the supplier. There is no process. There is no direct line. It's not worth the risk. Buy elsewhere. Buy online. Do not be fooled. Granted, if it all goes well then you have nothing to fear... but is it worth the risk? For example, if you have an issue with a product or a delivery. OR if indeed, the store itself sends your items to the wrong depot and at no point tells your partner they're not coming to deliver the goods... meaning the said partner has taken the day off and lost income for no reason, and meaning the 3rd party Currys have hired in to fit the item needs to be cancelled to, meaning another two additional days need to be taken off work to fulfil their delivery... you will have no voice. They will not hear you. Their customer service team will talk over you. They will not put you through to anyone who can help. They will tell you calls will be coming from senior members of staff, but those calls will not and never will, materialise. Euronics for example, is just down the road in from the Canterbury Store location, they are humans, not an entity carrying out a store policy, sending you from pillar to post in the hopes of a resolution. They will hear your issues and try and resolve them, rather than making you call their complaints department to go in store, only to have you go home and call the complaints department again and repeat. N.B. The only reason we went with Currys was that they had the item in stock and could deliver sooner. By the end of the saga, Currys delivered much later than Euronics would have done even if they'd tried to do a bad job. We were fooled. Do not be.

Incompetent in their customer service and complaints handling. Staff don’t have a clue what they are doing and just repeat basic information like a robot to you treating you like a child. Been sent back and forth and made numerous phone calls to help me with a telly that I have only had for 2.5 years with wrong information and little help and support if any to get this rectified. Ok to take your money but don’t want to know you after. Sell items that they know in the mass market don’t perform well and sell them to honest hard working people to make a quick raise. I would never want to deal with them again. Customer complaint handler SHASHA was rude and patronising with no care or knowledge

Being there on Tuesday looking for monitor, and one of the “specialist” came to me to show that they don’t have in stock any monitor fitting on my needs. As I need it asap , asked him what are the chances to find in other stores as I’m able to drive and fetch from there, and he advised me to order online pay 5£ extra for premium delivery which means next day. Agreed with that. Next day on Thursday I’ve got a message which saying that I’m getting the monitor on Thursday, so that premium isn’t that premium. At the end, it came Thursday, and came damaged, screen broke. Went back to the store, thinking if I ordered online from store, the process for refund/replace will be shorter. No, they can’t help with that, I have to book collection (1-2 days) wait for confirmation (2-4 businesses days) refund (3-5 business days) for an item ordered in store and delivered with a hole through the box. In store 4 of them they don’t know the process for refund/replace, they just said to go online, and no store manager can be found in store and the have to phone one. I decided to get a refund instead, can’t wait that long to be delivered another monitor, and in future I’ll double check my options before to buy something and probably curry’s will be my last option.

Currys customer service is a joke. I wanted to purchase a hob and oven, told the sales man the two items I wanted and that I was paying cash. For some reason he said I would have to buy a gift card and do it that way???. He put the order through for the oven no problem but the hob order didn't go through but the money was taken off the card. I was told the money would go back on the card in 24 hours so had to return to the store to reorder. Two days later and no refund . I had booked an electrician to fit the appliances so needed both items in two days time. I returned to the store and was told I would have to pay for another hob and they would refund the money when it went back on the card. Funnily enough I didn't have to buy a gift card this time ??. Four weeks later, five visits to the store at Pips Hill Basildon, three phone calls to head office, three Emails to Currys , no refund on the card and no response at all I was rather Pixxxx off. Finally I went back to the store and demanded my money back . It was eventually refunded after sitting in the store for an hour. Currys still haven't responded to any Emails or phone calls so be warned they will take your money but if you have a problem they will totally ignore you until you start shouting in the store.

The delivery people were unable to install my washing machine because they said they couldn't find the connecting pipe. This left me with an uninstalled washing machine. The only way I could solve the problem was by calling a washing machine repair man who was able to easily locate the connecting pipe and was able to go ahead with the installation. This cost me £80 and caused me a great deal of stress and lost time. It seemed to me that the delivery people were looking for an excuse not to do the installation, showing a complete lack of initiative. I then tried to contact Customer Service to get a refund sorted out but was unable to speak to a human and was reduced to making a complaint by email. I will never, ever use this company again!

Awful customer service. I have a curry customer account I placed an order for a fridge. It said you can order a door reversal service too. This option wasn't available on line. At the same time I placed my order I noticed my phone number was an old one so I updated this too. I then tried to order the door service by asking the webchat, they couldn't do it, whats the point of a webchat agent if they can't do anything? They gave me a number to call. The options on their aren't even clear. I eventually got through to someone and they asked me laods of questions to verify my identity, name, address, e-mail address, order number. They asked for my phone number but it didn't match what was on their system. even though I had updated my number. I spoke to the complainst team and went through the same process and not resolved so whats the point of a complaints team? I then found my old phone number so was eventually able to place the order. But whats the point of registering for an account and being able to update your phone number if this then doesn't do anything and you have to go routing around for old phone numbers? They charged me £35 they should have offered this to me for free. I then tried to find out an e-mail address so I could put my complaint in writing, they couldn't give me an e-mail address. The receipt I was sent has a customer service e-mail address wrote to that and got an auto response saying it was no longer being monitored, so whats the point of putting an e-mail address on their receipts if they aren't monitoring e-mails. Please do not use currys the customer service is awful. Amazon often do the same items and their service is better. John Lewis also do similar items, can be more expensive but their customer service is much better. Currys no longer seem to be interested in customer service. I will not be using them again.

I spoke with someone 2 weeks ago on the… I spoke with someone 2 weeks ago on the chat I explain that I am a gamer and I was trying to do everything and nothing helps. Of course, the issue was tested on 3 different computers so definitely a problem with the screen. But the agent told me that I will be without the screen for 5 days I said for me it is a problem because I need it for work so can I think and come back later and he promised to me that he will leave a notification on the chat and next agent will know what to do and will send a technician to me. The screen have more problems so I came back to the customer service... How your customer service works are completely... I have no clue what can I even say about that. One person send me a link to the page which is not working and just left the chat (yes he wasn't disconnected he just left). He sends this link: visitupdate.teamknowhow.com The second person was completely rude! This is completely not acceptable! Plus issue wasn't solved. I don't know to be honest this kind of behavior should be published everywhere because the line was completely crossed.

A terrific waste of time – supplied them my hard drive for data recovery late December and come the end of January it's barely arrived at the repair centre because of the staff's incompetence in following the procedures correctly. The staff (bath road store) are more interested in avoiding customers and genuinely do not care about their jobs. This is not the first time Currys customer service has let them down – do not give them the benefit of the doubt.

Bought a £400 hoover washing machine from Curry's Swansea and it's packed up after just over 12 months, bloody rubbish, talk about the environment you expect white goods to last longer than 12 months , on top of that you can't get hold of the buggars by phone poor service and poor quality.
