Bought a washing machine for a flat. Delivery drivers were past their sell by dates and had as much life as a gone off lettuce. They refused to take up stairs as it had more than 4 steps why do currys have old lazy men delivering big heavy appliances. Right man for the jib should apply. Appealing service will.never buy from them again

Today I have visited the shop in Wesfield ,Stratford. I was interested in a Lg speaker. I have asked for help because the speaker was not functional. A guy with glasses a bit bitter from the beginning was not able to use the buttons on the desk. I have asked him how can I buy the product if I cannot hear it. He replied with the same bitter voice that it is the LG fault not his . Now ,as a seller you suppose to look for one functional item when a customer it is interested. It is the 3rd bad experience with Curry's and the last one

We were at Curry’s in Sealand Road, Chester yesterday. We spoke to a shop assistant first about the purchase of a washing machine. Not very welcoming at all. We decided to leave the store for a coffee and returned later. We saw a woman assistant this time. She was very rude, I was there ages before the could take her eyes off her mobile phone, no hello and was not pleased when we tried to explain that we have seen the machine we wanted. We decided to purchase it but her sour face said it all. No thank you or good bye at all. We will not visit Curry’s in Chester ever again.

I was looking for a Dishwasher and it was advertised at £343 with Currys. The price increased overnight and Currys was now selling it at £399. I then found the same product at £338 with another vendor. Currys said they Price Match all products. When I showed them the vendor's price, I spoke to 5 different person over a week and each came up with a different pretext not to price match; VAT number is not showing on their website, which I got from the govt tax site and gave to Currys, then they claimed it's is not a legit UK company, so I sent them the link from companies house showing it's a registered company. Then they said the sale conditions are different, I copied what Currys sale condition is for price match and showed it's the same! They tried to come up with all kind of gimmicks, eventually telling me 'the company's sale condition should completely match that of currys!' I asked if there is a template condition somewhere that all companies copies so that everything is matched! It's quite obvious each company has their own general sale conditions. Currys has a list of condition to match for the price promise, and the other vendor match that 100%, still Currys refused the price match. I reported Currys to the Trading Standards for fake publicity and bought from the other vendor, who they claimed was not legit, and got delivery on time!

Currys costumer care is absolutely ridiculous and rubbish ! I purchased a fitted fridge-freezer , When purchased mentioned I am disabled and used fridge to stack my medicine ! I asked for earliest as possible! They arranged for 2 weeks time which is today ! I had to work from home ,it supposed to deliver from 7:00 untill 11:30 ! I have waited until 5 ! They didnot deliver! After loads of follow up call and spending near 1 hour on phone , waiting on the line , they said driver couldnot find your address and they arranged to deliver on 06/07/2022! My home is really easy to find , everyday I have delivery ! I cannot believe they could not find my address, why didnot contact by email or telephone?? It is very upsetting , the weather is so warm ! It is hard to cope without fridge even for healthy people! I had to order food nearly two weeks and now another two weeks ! Curry Costumer care are very rubbish ! When you want to buy, they encourage you and they show costumers are important but actually not ! They only want to make money ! They charged me for delivery , for remove for fitting and … But still I donot have anything ! When you ordered they charged you but how they compensate me for 1 month without fridge ! I have very very funny text now from Currys Hi! Great news, your tech from Currys is in stock and will arrive Wed 06 Jul Ref:743..,,,,, If you won't be in and want to pick a new visit date, go to https://visitupdate.currys.co.uk Thanks, Currys

Lied to about reasons they wouldn't price match including returns policy (which was better than Currys), the competitor was not a UK company (they were) etc. Issued a voucher by Currys which they then declined, failed to call me back over 5 times, webchat team refuse to raise complaints, don't understand the issue and do very little but take a look time to deal with (I am up to 7 hours and counting!) Really poor service, unclear returns policy, much better customer service from competitors which I would recommend in a heart beat. Avoid.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in 16 years working in retail. 6 phone calls, twice they hung up on me. Last call I was told I'd be called back because the agent had to speak to the manufacturer but she never called me back after 2 weeks. I have been trying to return my twice faulty unit now for nearly 1 month and nobody wants to help. I even tried the chat but after describing my issue they left the chat. Having working in customer services I can say with confidence that the agents are all cherry picking their tickets and if you raise an issue they don't want to deal with the will just hang up on you or will give you a BS story and empty promises to get you off the phone.

Collection FINALLY after many their mistakes from new address which I provided everywhere and to everyone I arranged the collection but delivery with replacement to and old address!!!! which I underlined 100 times that I do not live there anymore! Collected from different address snd delivered to different: Don't expect cleverness from them, they don't even listen to you, contacted currys many times, the same robotic talk, promises and until now I do not have neither the replacement and refund and ofcourse NEVER email as they every talk promised, just ignore you likable rubbish! HORRIBLE experience, horrible customer service, they really do NOTHING except talking, some of them rude on the phone, looking, not blaming them but you, they just ignore problems and their obvious mistakes to deliver my replacement to someone else! I lost the old coffee machine and money!!!!! Somebody who live now at my old address have my machine!. HOW IS IT ACCEPTABLE!!! AVOID Currys.

The worse company ever. Especially delivery team. Driver Kieran delivered parcel 32 cross my street. Mine was 33 so next one,but he just passed my area, I seen him by window. Have been contacted Currys four times and I finally I had to raised official complaint. Still waiting for sorted out my delivery On customer service told me twice that my item will begin delivery next day morning, that I am first on the list. Now offered me delivery two days later!!! I am already lost money for two days unpaid holiday, and food worth over £100 which I must putting to bin. Because I recycled my old fridge. Don't using their delivery service!!!!! Arrange your own transport otherwise you being waiting days and hearing only lies!!!!!

Bought new Candy Gas Hob. Quality was so poor I had it removed and purchased a different brand. Emailed Curry’s Customer Services and got absolutely nothing by way of reply. No way of getting out of it, my complaint was ignored. Even poor customer services send a rubbish reply. Where does this put Curry’s?

The Price match took so long I had to get another product. Calling customer service was awful and they couldn’t even explain how to submit a price match request. Really so difficult to use it is a false promise

I have an awful experience with Currys. I broke my fridge/freezer around 3 months ago, and I ordered a replacement from Currys. I called up to say I knew nothing about fridges and if I ordered the wrong one, would I be able to return it? They said yes of course, they'd take it back right away and I could order a new one. When the delivery men arrived they said I had ordered the wrong type (fixed vs sliding) and that they would send a specialist out to fit it next week. The specialist came and said they were totally unable to do this, that I needed a different fridge. I called Currys to explain and swap and after about half a day being sent around 101 different 3rd parties I got through to someone who approved the return and refund. They do not offer exchange on anything more than 10% more expensive/cheaper. I immediately ordered the correct fridge, the money was taken from my account and then I got an email to say it was out of stock and I would be refunded. I was not nearly £1k down and could not afford to order a new fridge freezer until I got my refund. A weeks later (and not now with no fridge freezer) I got my refunds and ordered another one. It was set to come on the 29th April, as per the confirmation page when I ordered but when the confirmation email came through it was the 5th of May! No acknowledgment from Currys about this but at this point I was too exhausted with the situation to complain. I waited another week with take aways and great expense. They then came yesterday with the wrong fridge. I have the same confirmation page as I mentioned above and the confirmation email BOTH saying the fridge freezer I ordered and a totally different one sat in my flat. The lovely delivery drivers let me keep incorrect one so I am no longer eating deliveroo every night but I have had to go back to the customer service helpline. They clearly do not believe me that I did in fact order the correct one, despite my repeated offer to send them my confirmation email. The product code for the fridge I have is in fact the one on my email, despite the description and the photos being the one I wanted. It must have been an error on the website. They will not exchange this as there are no fridges onsite within 10% of the one I ordered, they want to take it back and leave me without a fridge for a few weeks again and order the new one! I have asked to speak to a more senior customer service manager and they will call me back within the next 24/48hours... I'm not holding my breath.

Terrible service from the start. I bought a microwave £225 witch was okay as I knew whet I wanted, then I asked about a kettle and toaster in yellow and they said they had no stock at both branches in Hull. So he said we might get stock at a later date , when I got home I found they had stock and could deliver it to clough road branch where I was an hour earlier so why wasn't I given the chance to order it there ?. I've just picked up the order in two parcels, when I got home (40 miles round trip) there was 1 kettle in yellow which is correct and a Russell Hobbs IRON in the other parcel NOT A TOASTER. I rang customer service and all I can say is there is no hope for Currys. I found it almost impossible to understand her, she kept saying you've got your kettle and toaster what's Rong with it, so I can't do toast on an Iron to a reply so you want to return it then I replied I just want what was on the order. This went on for four or five minutes which I was getting very annoyed but tried to stay calm , she then asked me to hold for a minute five minutes latter came back and said she was confused ? 🤬. So I quit the call. Now it's another 40 miles to try and get the right toaster then it will be another 40 miles to pick it up, needless to say I am fuming.

Website is awful, the comparison and half the time product links don't work on mobile, when shopping you enter your postcode for the stock check, tells you it is available for delivery, get to the basket, its collection only. Try the live support and they tell you it's tough luck, definitely not a bug and the delivery check isn't accurate until you get to the basket. You go in-store, the staff do not seem all that knowledgable and 90% of the products on display are not in stock. If by some miracle you do find what you want and buy it, they want your address and email for some reason.

Attempts to get a new faulty washing machine repaired, replaced or refunded a week after delivery was impossible. Non existent customer service, they do not respond to email, drop lines if phoning. Sometimes you might get lucky and get though after 20 minutes or so but it invariably ends with 'the system is down, call back tomorrow'. Absolutely useless company. I'll never buy from Currys again. and appear incompetent. I will never but from Currys again.
