I purchased a 75" TV and sound bar that was free with the TV in the Black Friday deal, the sound bar stopped working after 2 hrs, I took it back for a replacement and the same again. I took that back and wanted to up grade and pay the difference, I was told this is not possible and so the TV and the sound bar had to be collected. This was arranged for Tuesday last week, the truck arrived but could not collect due to no wrapping for the TV, I had explained the packaging had been disposed of originally. So the collection was rescheduled for Saturday just gone, I got a text to confirm, 2.30 - 4.30pm so all good, then I get a call from the drive at 2pm saying he will be with me in 30 minutes, I get the tv and all the bit by the front door to make it easier for the driver. At 4.30pm I tried to call the driver to see if he was lost but no answer. 5pm I get a text to say "Great new your tech in now in stock and will be delivered on Tuesday" I never did get the TV collected!!!! So I have wasted 2 days over this when really a simple sound bar upgrade would of done the trick for me. I have since got a new TV and sound bar from Argos. Lets see what happens on Tuesday 22nd November......

Claim to price match any UK retailer in store or online but that's complete rubbish. When I asked for a price match they initially tried to suggest the competitor 'didn't accept returns' which was nonsense and then said 'we don't price match with this retailer'. This from Curry's website "You won’t get it cheaper. Full stop. We’ll price match any product against any other UK retailer, online or in store. We’ll also match discount codes." Not good at all.

The worst ever customer service to deal with! Honestly! End of Sep, I ordered a Dyson with a collection from the store. When I came for the product, the hoover was faulty, but the assistant tried to tell me that this was a design(!) and later forced me to take it and swap for a new one in a different store. Didn’t agreed and got a refund after 5days. A week later, the price has been increased for another 100£ so I had to wait until now with purchase same product once again. While ordering the product, an error came up on my screen “something went wrong,we cannot process it”. I didn't get any order confirmation but money 359,99£ has been taken from my account! I called customer service and was advised to wait for 48h. Nothing happened; I called again to put in place a claim and was promised I’d get everything over email- no didn’t get anything. The Assistant also refused to email the bank to cancel the payment to make it smoother. At that moment 5days passed, I do not have product (which based on order I should have Already) and I do not have my money, £359,99! Redicilous, poor and very unprofessional service! Do not recommend it to ANYONE!!!

To withhold £700 from people in this current climate is sickening. They have lied to me over and over. Generic scripted answers of we are doing our upmost to help you today blah blah Delivery not attempted just a message after the delivery day past saying congratulations your order will be out for delivery in 2 week. I've contacted them 3 times to cancel and get a refund. Each time the same response. The depot even called me 2 days ago to say they are still coming with the order. Each time it's Like its the 1st time hearing it. Yes thats the order cancelled please be assured the money will be in your account soon. Lies no money received. Been weeks now and still waiting. Currys your on my black list.

Absolutely appalling and I would never recommend Curry’s to anyone. I purchased a tumble drier, paid in full including for a specified delivery window 9am to 1pm at an additional £55! I booked time off work for the delivery. The delivery arrived on the due date before the delivery window and just while I was leaving to take my daughter to school ( that is why the specified and paid for delivery window) when the delivery driver was told to come back please during the specified time, he stormed off and were quite rude. Upon my return I called Curry’s to be assured once again that it would be delivered that same day in the correct window When the delivery did not arrive, I called CS again to be told that they had messed up but that it wound be with me before 4pm that same day. Needless to say it never arrived and at 4:30 I was again onto CS. After nearly 30 minutes of absolute nonsense, I was eventually put through to a manager or so I am told. This person confirmed that they had messed up and they were sorry, issued a credit for my £55 missed delivery and promised to make the delivery this Sunday and would send an email today to confirm Well, the email never arrived and 3 calls later over a period of more than 1 and a half hours wasted on the phone with 3 different people only confirmed that my order is not scheduled for delivery on Sunday or ever. I repeatedly asked to speak to a manager but who was conveniently unavailable Hiding behind a call centre in RSA is not going to solve matters This problem is not going away and is just going to get worse and worse. On Sunday I will be personally visiting my local Currys store for a discussion with the manager. We will see where that goes. If the issue is not resolved to my satisfaction, then it’s off to London to the HO for a personal chat with a Director. If that fails to bring satisfaction then it’s off to solicitors without prejudice save for costs I refuse to accept being fobbed off with poor service and outright dishonesty. I’m not Interested in a refund but I do insist the goods paid for are delivered promptly and further that appropriate compensation is received Enough! We shall see if Curry’s does the right thing or if this review is even published (copied and screenshot)

I attempted to order a PC peripheral totalling £60.99 a week ago but at the checkout my card was declined and I could see from the company's personal profile that no item had been ordered by me from them. Days later I notice £60.99 missing from my current account but no ID of where it went. After phoning my bank I was told that Currys had debited my account - so the order had gone through. After phoning their customer support team (which is so frustrating to get through I won't start a rant) I was told their system was taking orders but not dispatching them or generating an order report - so basically I'm left without the product and £60 down whilst they get their act together. Another example of why high street retailers are going out of business. They have opened a "second level" complaint, hopefully resulting in the product and a refund after this shocking level of service.

UK friends - Please take note! Do NOT spend your hard earned money at Currys! My 86 year old father's 6 month old television had an operational fault; it was collected for assessment and repair, and returned a week later with a completely smashed screen rendering the tv unfit for purpose. They are claiming that is how it left the property, despite having photographic evidence to the contrary, and will not accept liability and replace the unit with a new one. This has been going on since the 7th October (nearly a month without his lifeline) and is showing no signs of being resolved, even after lengthy telephone conversations, webchats, sending the evidence through the POST as they cannot be contacted via email, and lodging a formal complaint following their preferred route. This is disgusting treatment of an elderly, disabled gentleman and I will continue to fight for justice. Spend your money wisely friends, this a company that has been around for years. It seems they have forgotten what customer care really means.

I have been waiting for a £389 refund since the 16th when I was given a faulty dishwasher. I’ve called up 3 times already to be told it is being processed. I realise your call centre is in Cape Town, but I didn’t realise someone was going to personally deliver my refund!!!! Come on Currys, this is unacceptable!!!!!! Where’s my money!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I HAD DAMAGED MY 8 MONTH OLD WASHER DRYER. EXPLAINED IT WAS MY FAULT AND WAS PREPARED TO PAY FOR THEM TO FIX IT. THEY SENT AN ENGINEER. THEY SAID PARTS TO BE ORDERED. WHEN I CHASED THEY SAID THEY HAVE CHANGED THEIR MIND AS IT IS NOT UNDER CARE REPAIR, THEY WONT FIX IT. I EXPLAINED THAT I HAD ALREADY AGREED TO PAY FOR THE REPAIR AND THEY JUST FLAT REFUSE TO HELP!

I wish I could give no stars ~ Happened in Arndale Curry’s Manchester. I bought an Apple Watch (cellular) and I was told by the advisor in store that I don’t need a separate sim plan and on that basis I paid £100 more to buy the one where I can send text etc. later my provider told me you actually can’t and that I should go back to store and speak with them about the misinformation. I called them before visiting and the manager Iwona and the advisor who sold me the watch told me “you should’ve done your research before coming into our store” and that literally broke my heart because we rely on advisors in store when making a purchase. Then after our heated conversation the manager Iwona called me in store and said we’ll give you a refund (after about 2 hours of our phone convo). And when I went in store, they looked off and when I was leaving Iwona told the same advisor to tell me “you’re no longer welcomed in this store” and I was baffled. All because I wanted a refund on something I was sold on the basis of misinformation. I am deeply hurt and this is one of the worst and the only worst experience I’ve had when shopping. I was a regular Curry’s customer and this is how they treated me. Poor management and training of the advisors.

Worst experience I have ever encountered, waiting 7 weeks for a delivery, cancel my order to get items that are in stock, take a day off work for the delivery which was not delivered, had to call then only to be told the drivers could to deliver..

After many years of spending £££ i can see the true colours of Currys. I ordered microwave for £80 which was send with Yodel, delivery was postponed many times but it wasnt a problem for me as Im all the time at home. The day my item should be finally delivered i got text out of nowhere it was delivered to your neighbours. No one knocked, ringed the doorbell, nothing. Went to ask about my parcel they said there is nothing there for me. Yodel send me "confirmation" of delivery as picture of some person with her back in doorway. Contacted currys many times but they been saying it was delivered and that can do nothing more and i can take that to police. When i went to my local police station to ask about that they said with the picture I can do nothing as there is no parcel visible there at all, it could be easily that the person refused to take the parcel and just enter the home. For me its obvious misconduct of the delivery company but they said i can take that to the company where i bought my item from which is Currys... and again currys just saying they dont care about me,what im saying, how it looks like. Such a huge company and customers service at the lowest

We are extremely disappointed with Currys services. We used to be very happy ordering from Currys. They used to have good customer service until this incident. We ordered a brand new Neff Washing Machine a month ago. The appliance was only ready after 3 weeks from ordering so we waited patiently for it. We opted for installation services and for them to take away our old broken washing machine. The order came after 3 weeks finally and 2 Currys staff installed it. They did a quick test to check if it’s working. To our dismay when they left, the washing machine wouldn’t stop shaking uncontrollably and made such a loud noise. Clearly it was not working and installed properly. We tried different settings and still the same outcome. We contacted Currys and were informed that they will issue a refund for installation. We asked if someone can come the next day to fix it but unfortunately we had to wait another 2 to 3 weeks for that. How disappointing at this point to wait for the installation and when they did install it, it was NOT DONE PROPERLY so then we had to wait a long time again to have it fixed. We asked if we can have everything fully refunded and get a new appliance from somewhere else but was then advised someone can come after 3 days to provide a new appliance. How can 3 weeks turn into 3 days when we asked for full refund? We agreed for someone to replace the washing machine as it was the most feasible and convenient solution for us. We had to book a day off to accommodate the Currys staff for the replacement but we were so upset that NO ONE turned up that day to fix / replace the washing machine. We had to contact them AGAIN for this mess and the agent couldn’t be more accommodating and welcoming, no empathy at all. We were given a week and a half again to wait for REPLACEMENT. This is ridiculous. What POOR service. We are very upset and disappointed with this service. It is very inconvenient and such a waste of time and effort.

Bought a TV online. Website Times out before order complete then had to start again. Forgot to add the "free" £100 headphones in the basket. Called and asked for them to be put onto order. Told to cancel and re do it. Held my money for 5 days and put the price up £200. Called and was told to pay the new price then call back for a refund. I specifically asked if I'd get the money back as I didn't want vouchers. Paid new price, called back to be told I had to have vouchers leaving me £17for Xmas food shopping. 13 calls over more than 20 hours got through to a manager who said his staff advised wrong, he wouldn't be honoring what was said and left me with vouchers for a shop I never wanted to do business with again. Shortly after found the FB group "Curry's pc World Where's my refund" with thousands of disgruntled customers who had also been shafted.
