They didn't make me feel happy or wanted and did not respond to my letter of disappointment of their treatment of me.

I bought an integrated washing machine, it was booked in for Thurs 6 th to be installed, they sent the washing machine but no one that could fit it. Was booked in again for next day afternoon, they turned up in morning when I was at work. Booked in for Saturday men turned up but said they were not able to fit integrated, they rang their office and were assured someone would be here this morning to fit, then last night had txt to say this afternoon. That’s 4 days of having time off work. I rang customer services and the said they had emailed Bath curry’s for manager to call me yesterday I’ve heared nothing. It’s appalling treatment I’ve had from this company, they are doing the same to everyone by the look of these reviews. I don’t know what to do as I have a washing machine stuck in the middle of my kitchen now.

Eastbourne Currys WHAT A JOKE. I originally spent £3000 on a Samsung Curve TV which developed a safety issue fault being that it got really hot and burnt the screen. Ok these things happen and under warranty the INFAMOUS Know bugger all team arranged to pick it up on 18/11/2018 NO SHOW. Finally got collected on 20/11/2018. Repair completed in 5 days but a week later phones up when do I get my TV back. INFAMOUS Know bugger all team then informs me its at the written off department. A week later finally I get a voucher for like for like tv. I go to Currys Eastbourne to be told my like for like tv is not in stock but will be next Friday and delivery would be either Saturday 08/12/2018 or Monday 10/12/2018. Guess what not trusting TEAM KNOW BUGGER ALL I phoned them and nope next estimated delivery date is 14/12/2018. I have terminal cancer and they just don't give a toss SHAME ON YOU CURRYS EASTBOURNE. You've had my money now you don't give a S**T. The most incompetent bunch of ASS****S I've ever come across

Team KnowHow is a disaster! I paid for the installation on in-built oven £90 to happen on Monday 26 Nov; a helpdesk operator called me at 10:30 on 26 to tell me the installation have to be moved to Tuesday 27th because their only installer is off sick. So my new installation window is 9:05-13:05 on Tuesday 27th. I have taken second day of leave from work for this as i was guaranteed the installation will go ahead. On 27th at 10:10 i called the helpdesk and was advised that indeed my slot is 9:05 - 13:05. At 13:14 i called again and was advised that the installers are just being delayed. I called again at 15:15 and then was advised that the installation was actually cancelled on Monday!! the operator told me her manager will definitely call me back. This never happened! They still haven't refund me my £90 almost 2 weeks later so i have to call them on 03 number again. Usual time on hold 30 min

I ordered a fridge/ freezer and also a washer/ dryer a month in advance for our new house. We received a delivery a slot the night before which was 10:25-14:25. Trying to plan ahead and be organised I also booked a food shopping delivery to come later that evening. At 14:35 I realised the time and recognised that the delivery was late, therefore I called the customer service contact number. After waiting for 45 mins to speak to someone the lady I spoke to said that she had contacted the driver and the delivery would be in the next hour and half. Two hours went by and still no sign of a delivery, so I called customer services again. The lady I spoke to after waiting 30 minutes said that she couldn’t get into contact with the driver but the delivery ‘should’ still be made. Then, 19:00 came round and we still hadn’t received the delivery. Once again I contacted customer services, I was on hold for 40 minutes and the man on the phone could not help me with my enquires. He wasn’t able to tell me where my order was, when it could be delivered on another day. I then asked to speak to a manger and I got told that I couldn’t and would have to wait till tomorrow. After a very long and painful phone call I decided to cancel my order completely and get a full refund. The man told me that I would receive an email confirming the cancellation and refund .. I haven’t yet received this. The management team is due to contact me tomorrow at 12:00pm. Hopefully they call on time and can deal with my complaint. I made it very clear that I was not happy to all of the customer care team and I did not get a good enough response, if any response at all. The customer care was awful and the whole situation was disappointing and ridiculous. I will not be using Curry’s again and will not be recommending them to anyone. I now have a kitchen full of food that needs to be thrown away because I haven’t got a fridge to keep it in. I have spent money on three phone calls, extra money for dinner too and wasted money on a food shop. DO NOT ORDER ONLINE WITH CURRYS!

I ordered a product online on 12.11, was charged for it, was given confirmation email and delivery date. Delivery did not arrived. I had to call them 3 times over 3 days to only be informed that my payment wasn't processed (but I was still charged). The purchase was cancelled on 19.11. I was told I will recive a refund the next day, no later then 3-5 working days. Now I has been over 2 weeks more. I had called them 4 times already since then, waiting 30 minutes on the line each time, just to be given more ecuses why I wasn't refunded. Spoke to the manager yesterday who said he will get back to me the same day - obviously he didn't.

I ordered a 45cm sata cable - when I measured it, the length was 37cm. 35 minutes of being on the phone to Currys to find out they didn't have any replacements to send out.

Tv developed a fault while under warranty. Taken away for repair, after 4 weeks and much time on hold to various call centres they agreed to send a replacement. That was nearly 2 weeks ago. We have spent hours on hold only to be told repeatedly that someone would phone us back to arrange delivery - still nobody has. No response to emails or a letter.

Shockingly Bad Service Shockingly Bad Service. (zero starts) Ordered 2 iphone X, website said it was in stock and available next day delivery & paid extra for next day delivery. Nothing arrived, called them (20mins wait) and they said it was just delayed and courier would email. Next day still nothing, so called (25mins) to be told not in stock and no date for when back in stock so cancelled order. Refund expected 3-5 days. Website still showing available next day. NOW THE PROBLEMS REALLY BEGIN WITH THE REFUND No refund so called back (30min wait) to be told they messed up the refund and would take longer, still no refund and called back again to be told refund on Monday, its been sorted, Monday no refund, called again STILL NO REFUND. Next step is to contact my bank Tried emailing but they have a problem answering emails and one dept. does not or cannot speak to another dept. Also do not reply to repeated emails from me, assuming the emails don't come back undelivered. Total FARCE BTW Ordered from Amazon, came next day, no hassle no fuss. I tried to use an alternative to Amazon and got stung badly, cant see this company lasting.

I made an online order but realised it was wrong item so cancelled order on phone within 20 minutes of making order. Was told the order had been cancelled and no payment would be taken, also had email to confirm this. But payment was taken 2 days later and after 10 days still waiting for refund....

Team KnowHow picked up our TV for repair just over a week ago and we were told it would be back within 7 days. We had a time slot of 8.55 to 12.55 on Friday, but we waited the whole day and they never turned up with our TV . We did not get a text, email telephone call to explain why. After over 2 hours in total on the telephone and a return trip of 16 miles twice to Currys they were not able to tell us where our TV is. We were told that they can't replace our TV as it is not broken and an investigation to find out where it is hasn't been carried out yet which may take some days!!!. They were extremely unhelpful and not in the least bit apologetic over the phone and I got the impression that they really couldn't care less. Customer Service appalling! communication between Currys and Team KnowHow a disaster. Tracking non-existant. How can you lose a TV?.

The following is an email I wrote to the CEO of Curry, describing my experience when visiting the Coventry Store at Alvis Retail Park, and at this time, I have sent 2 more emails, both of which have not even been acknowledged. Therefore, I shall NEVER use this company again. Customer Service? Customer Contempt more like!!! As for the stars, I would give this company minus one, as I saw nothing to merit even one mark of merit. Sep 13, 2018, 10:32 AM to sebastianjames Dear Mr James I am writing to you because of my experience on Friday 31st of August, in the Currys/PCWorld store at Alvis Retail Park, Holyhead Road, Coventry CV5 8BW I was greeted by a very polite gentleman, who offered me a seat, then showed me to the lift, as I was hoping to buy a phone, all of which were on the upstairs level. I had previously attempted to buy the phone through the website, but had trouble completing the order and thought that it had not been completed. I therefore drove to the store planning to buy the phone I liked. Once upstairs, I was totally ignored by 3 young men who were talking by the television displays and after a few minutes, one of them looked at me briefly and muttered 'be with you in a minute'. I had sat down on a chair which none of the young men had offered and they continued to ignore me while discussing televisions with another customer, I think, as nobody had bothered to acknowledge me or ask/tell me anything. After several minutes of being ignored, and they could all see that I am elderly and walk with the aid of a stick, I made my way back to the lift, not a short journey for someone in my condition, and when I got downstairs, I saw a young man at a counter and approached him to ask if there was a manager in the store. I have to be honest here and just say that I was already upset and annoyed by the men upstairs, but I did not raise my voice or become aggressive with the downstairs staff. His first response was to look at me as though I was something nasty that had found its way into his space, then he just looked bewildered, so I said 'Shall I take that as a 'no' then?' to which he said 'what?' in a very aggressive tone. I asked again whether I should take his lack of response to mean there wasn't a manager, to which he very aggressively answered "yes!" I'm looking for him". The manager arrived then, and was just as cold and ignorant as the other staff had been. He asked what I wanted, I told him, a phone, but that I had been ignored upstairs, and while I can't remember his exact words, I think he asked again what I wanted, and I said that an apology would be good. This wasn't forthcoming and I told him that the customer service was appalling and that he clearly had no idea of how to treat a customer, so I would go to Carphone Warehouse, to which he answered "ok".. I struggled to the door using my stick, as I was in pain, but nobody came near or offered to help me in any way. I'm sorry this has been such a long email, but I was so upset that day that I was crying when I got home, as I'm not used to being spoken to as though I have no business to be in that store, and I certainly was horrified by the ignorance and unpleasantness of the staff I encountered. I was so upset that , on hearing about all this, my sister immediately went to Argos and bought the phone I wanted. A few days later, I had an email to say that the phone I had originally tried to order online, was on its way to me, so I am now returning that in its original packaging and unopened and unused. I hope you take this seriously, and forgive the amount of detail, but I will not go into a Curry's store again unless some intensive customer service training takes place. Regards

The knowhow guys are never willing to deliver large items such as an American Fridge Freezer, so don’t even buy from curry’s. I’m in tears as I write this as the delivery team just walked right away and couldn’t find a way to deliver my fridge freezer. He didn’t even suggest anything. I’d taken time off work and paid £30 for the delivery and he still wouldn’t do it. Incredibly frustrating experience.

WARNING: NEVER SHOP AT CURRYS>After 5 weeks I still have no dishwasher and they have my money. Absolute absence of any form of customer service. I bought a dishwasher and 5 year guarantee. Installation of my dishwasher was 13 days after the order (which I thought was a long time to wait). I watched as the delivery people dropped it off the lorry. They insisted on installing it saying it was fine. It didn't work. Eventually got an engineer to come 3 weeks after installation who said I needed a new one. Called Currys to arrange. After 70 minutes on the phone they say they cannot instal a new one for another 12 days - this will be 6 weeks after I ordered and paid for it. They have refused to let me speak with a manager in order to get a resolution. Just appalling. Their website states 'The beauty of our installation service is that we can deliver and install your new product on the same day, at a time to suit and 7 days a week' Don't believe a word of it. I WILL NEVER USE THIS SHAMBOLIC COMPANY AGAIN.

A new washing machine was delivered with a big dent in the back of it. Customer services were contacted 5 minutes after delivery men left. I was informed that an exchange couldn’t be arranged until the item was marked as delivered. I was promised a phone call to let me know when that was done. By 6pm that evening I had heard nothing and wanted to make sure I received a machine the next day, so I called them back myself. The customer services said they couldn’t do anything as it still hadn’t been marked as delivered, after I complained they offered to put me through to the delivery team. I was put on hold yet again and after another 20 minutes I gave up. I had already spent over an hour on the phone to them that day already and I only have so much patience with bad customer services. The next morning I called as soon as customer services opened only to be told that an exchange hadn’t been organised and there was no information on file to indicate that one had been requested! Talk about inefficient. Thankfully I have a proactive husband who took the back panel off and pushed out the dent so it was no longer touching the internal workings. Currys make you wait for ages to speak to a customer services who do nothing. It’s a shame their delivery team don’t use modern technology to update the system when they’ve delivered items, I’m sure they sell tech like that. I wouldn’t buy from them again.
