Extremely poor service, appalling customer care and insults from staff. I've paid for a new 50 inch Samsung TV and removal of my old TV. The job was supposed to have been completed on 21 December but I'm still waiting for removal of the old TV. Currys have now failed to collect on 3 occasions. The new TV has been left propped up in its box against the furniture in my lounge. It takes up to 30 mins to get through to the contact centre, who frankly can do nothing as the distribution centre seems to be a law unto itself and will deliver or not depending on the whims of the drivers. They came this morning and failed to get out of the Lorry and just drove straight past. They promised they would come the last job and this hasn't happened. Don't trust this company, they don't deliver and don't care.

After 7 days of waiting period of LED TV, they call up and say they don't have stock hence can't deliver the product at promised/discussed day. More so customer have to call upon the number which by default takes 25-30 minutes to connect. Already paid to them and have no choice but to wait whenever they have stock available and can deliver. Regret to choose Currys

I bought 2 ipads online on 30th November for Christmas presents. They have been 'lost' so Curry's need to 'investigate' which will take til mid January. I requested they provide the goods I have paid for and carry out their investigation separately but got nowhere. Awful customer service and will now have 2 disappointed children for Christmas. Avoid Curry's at all cost!

Bought an iPod on black Friday - received an email a week later to say there was an issue with my order and someone would contact me, no one contacted me! another week went by, I called the helpline after waiting 40 mins to speak to some one, turns out they have no stock of the item and wouldn't until the new year! The guy on the phone was no help, my options were to wait for the product or get a refund and buy it in store at a more expensive price!

I am disgusted with Currys, i had to take my YOUVIEW box back as it was not working, the Know How chap said it would be about 7-10 days and they would ring me when it is ready , after 7 days i called the shop and was told it had been sent back to HUMAX for repair, so i waited a another week and rang again but could not get through so i rang the number on my work sheet which happened to be customer service and was told that she could not help, after a very heated argument i asked to speak to some one higher and was put through to tech dept he said he could not help but said it is best if i phoned HUMAX, which i did, once again i was told they could not help as they had no records of my box and sugested i rang Currys, after several attempts i eventualy got through ,this time i was told that my box was ready for collection and had been for 11 days as it was repaired in store and was never sent away and that they had rang me 4 times and left messages on my answer phone, my answer phone had not been on for the last month so they could not leave any messages at all. We pay for this Know How service every month and this is how you get treated, a very unsatisfactory service by all departments. It will be a long time before i spend money at Currys

Bought a heat pump tumble dryer online, arrived when it was to but it was damaged so taken away again. Would you believe they cancelled order then and never told us!!. I contacted them to see when I was getting new one delivered as they still had my money (Several e-mails and 2 X 30 mins plus phone calls later) I managed to get other one ordered with a delivery day settled, Another day of work but no dryer it eventually arrived the next day no removal from packaging just dumped in kitchen and the delivery guys were of. Shocking service was eventually contacted as a result of my complaints on line given £5.00 goodwill payment. Guess what I shredded it as I will never use currys again. We should have learned after our previous purchase of an HP laptop now only 5 months old and been for repair now three times they will do anything and everything to squirm out of replacing it, unless you have bought there extended warranty, hellow its under manufacturer warranty the first year. AS I SAID NEVER AGAIN WILL USE CURRYS

This has been my worst ever experience of online shopping. We ordered a New World Gas Cooker 3 weeks ago and booked the delivery and connection for December 12th. On the morning of the 12th we received a text message to say that the delivery would be between 3pm and 7pm. all good so far. 30 minutes after the text message my wife took a call from KNOWHOW to say that the item had not been delivered to them by the manufacturer and they would let us know when they would be able to deliver it to us. I was out when we received this call and decided to ring KNOWHOW and find out what was going on. After waiting on the line for 25 minutes I finally got through to a machine asking me to press 1 for this and 2 for that, and after another 5 minutes I eventually got through to a human voice. The lady was very polite and after some investigation from her she explained that the cooker was in their stockroom in Lincolnshire...... so it was available but they were not going to deliver it. She then came up with some other dates for delivery which were not acceptable to me so politely I told her what they could do with their cooker and explained that I would like to cancel the order. She proceeded to cancel the order and explained that I would get an email confirming this; as yet I have seen no email. She told me that the money(which they have had for the last 3 weeks) would be put back into my account within the next 3 to 5 working days, I explained to her that it had only taken them seconds to take it out of my account so why couldn't they put it back in seconds, apparently it’s down to the banks. I just wish I had read the reviews before I had ordered from Currys, as I said at the beginning of this review it has been my worst ever experience of online shopping and I will never use this company again. I'm afraid if they don't sort themselves out very soon they will go the same way as that other famous electrical retailer COMET. Would I recommend them.....? MOST DEFINATELY NOT.

Appalling. Having made (for us) an expensive purchase of a condenser tumble dryer we were very disappointed to find it did not dry the clothes! It didn't even warm up. It was useless. We had no more money and a family's clothes to wash and dry before work and school. 'No problem', we thought. Stupidly, it turns out. 'Curry's will just repair or replace - IT SAYS SO ON THEIR WEBSITE'. Wrong. They offered to repair it, some 4 weeks later. Hmmm, lots of damp clothes between now and then, Curry's. Sorry, that doesn't work. We'll have to go for a replacement product then please.' Since then we have had several different versions of the script read to us with increasing impatience and discourtesy. One operative even hung up after repeating that a manager was not available to speak to us. We were left completely out of options, more than £300 out of pocket and without any way of drying clothes at the wettest time of year. No humanity, no compassion, not even any common sense. We have had no choice but to go to our credit card company (thank god we always use them for large purchases!) to begin a dispute. They have much more financial clout than us and might, therefore, be listened to. Eventually we hope to get our money back that way. We still have no way of drying our clothes. To add to our incredible frustration, the tumble dryer in question is still available through Currys online, with next day delivery. We can't afford to buy another dryer before we get the money back for this one but we will NOT be buying anything from Currys again.

I ordered a Bosch oven and hob from Currys - brilliant products but what has to be the worst ever customer service I have ever heard of. Nothing arrived when promised, promised calls were not made, the cooker was installed incorrectly and damaged but Currys do not want to know. I went all the way to the CEO who just passed it back down the chain. We are still waiting for this to be sorted out after several weeks Whatever you do NEVER buy anything from Currys / PCWorld

Omg the worst service I have ever had..... Will never use currys ever again!!!! Dishwasher was mean to be delivered on 2 nd Dec, it never arrived !!! Over a week of trying to get through to the delivery department , to be held on the line approx 20 mins and then getting cut off. Tried the sales...... Got through right away..... I wonder why!!!! They couldn't help me!!! Eventually after over a week without any communication got another date for delivery 11th Dec. I work from home and my window faces over the entrance of my property, to be told that they arrived and I wasn't at home.... Total lie!!!! Next delivery date 12th Dec,.... My item had been damaged so won't be delivered!!!!! How much can one person take!!!! Cancelled my order , which I will need to wait 3-5 working days for my money to be refunded! So from start to finish , and no dishwasher - nearly 4 weeks....... You are advertising next day delivery........ False advertising!!!!! Worst company I have ever dealt with!!!!

Bought 2 X Amazon Fire @ £34.99 for Xmas presents over the Black Friday few days, now there has been no show at the Royal Mail despite getting a tracking number & order email, Royal Mail showing as not received from supplier yet. Phoned Currys twice, been fobbed off twice on the phone that it will be looked into over 10 days and advised I would probably just get a refund !!! .... Eventually and of course if I go elsewhere now will have to pay the £49.99. Wish I just picked them up from Argos or Tesco on Black Friday if I'd know what a shambles currys online would be !!!! ... Haven't used Currys for years, as thought there customer service may have improved by now.. I was wrong and will avoid In The future. I said my local store has them for click and collect can I not pick them up? And of course if the other 2 eventually show up I can return them. ...they said no I would have to buy them at there current price of £49.99, but in the meantime they've got my payment and I'm having to wait until 20 December for them probably not to resolve and just give me a refund. .... Furious that they won't honour the price or send out a Replacement, or that I'm able to go to my local store and pick up two with my receipt of purchase. I now think the Black Friday deal was just a big scam ....

The delivery service we received was appalling. After being given a delivery date and time slot Currys failed to deliver. After spending nearly an hour on the phone on the day of delivery we managed to rearrange a delivery slot for two days after the one given to us by Currys. Again they failed to deliver. They rang us on the second delivery date to say they didn't know where our item was. Infuriated was an understatement. We eventually got our washer five days after Currys original delivery date. Have emailed head office but three days later are still waiting for a reply with an explanation and apology as to why we were kept waiting so long. Certainly won't be using Currys again. Purchased an Xbox one 18 days ago. Came with a free download of FIFA and a hard copy of Star Wars. We left the shop with the Xbox and were told the Game would be available to collect in 2 days. 18 days later and 3 shop visits still no game. On Sunday we visited the store, we were handed another Xbox one as apparently they had no record of us leaving the shop 2 weeks earlier with one. We explained we had the Xbox one but they were adamant that we didn't. After several minutes they actually listened. We could easily have taken the free one but morally that wasn't right. Yet again after more excuses and lack of help we are still awaiting confirmation that the game purchased is available to collect..... Absolutely atrocious customer service. You wait and wait and wait and are told due to demand we cannot guarantee delivery before Xmas.... We are going to wait until Sunday then if no game we will return the Xbox one and get a refund... Get a grip curries and actually listen to your customers and fulfill your promises...

Just entered the Bridgend store, to purchase s Dyson V6 handheld vacuum cleaner, no staff available to help. Approached by an assistant on the shop if I required assistance, however he was unable to help because he worked downstairs not upstairs. Appalling service. Will take my money to JL and get a free five year warranty.

we ordered a dishwasher to be delivered 4 days later, only to receive a call at 7 am the day of delivery to say the product was not in the warehouse we had paid and received confirmation of delivery. the online people were not very helpful and mildly confrontational. We decided to go and collect the dishwasher ourselves from a local store this proved to be a much more positive experience.

We ordered an american style fridge freezer three weeks ago. Unfortunately the fridge side was faulty. We had the engineer come out to us who confirmed this. When ringing through to currys Peterborough, our local store, I was told i would need to contact head office, so i rang head office who just fobbed me off. I then rang Peterborough store again, who told me they could not do exchange or refunds over the phone and that i would have to go in store. SO after driving 30 mins, i get to store and they supposedly process my refund. Upon collecting my order, i received a text message in the morning stating collection time would be between 12pm - 4pm. At 10.20 i receive a phone call to say they was half an hour away. I then had to ask a family member to rush over to my house. At 12pm no one had a arrived! Half an hour later they came and took it away. I have rang currys asking for the refund to go back on my card, to which they said they would email me... 24 hours later... still no email! This is the shortened version as there was a lot more complications! Such poor service. I would never shop at currys again!!!

I visited currys store last night not busy staff standing at door doing nothing I was there to purchase a tv worth £650 after finding the one I wanted I waited for a member of staff. A staff member came over and looked busy I asked if he could help me he said he works for know how and is servicing a customer but would let the manager know I was waiting . I waited and waited still a member of staff on the door doing nothing . Nobody bothered to come over after waiting for over 15 mins I walked out not happy with the service I will purchase elsewhere . I feel you need to know you have a big problem with customer service within your company which no company can afford these days .

They were an hour and a half late. Was given a 4 hour delivery time slot but they didn't come. Then they didn't unpack or put in room of choice left in garage.
