Do Not Buy from this shop - they have absolutely no concept of customer service.....and SMEG are useless too! We bought a £2000 Smeg range cooker A2PY-8 Opera 100 Dual Fuel in April this year. Immediately upon use we discovered that the 2 largest/most powerful burners (UR2 on the Hob description in the manual) ALWAYS cut out immediately after ignition when the pan was put on the heat. We reported this immediately to Curry's customer services area who shipped our problem over to Dolphin Appliances. 6mths later - numerous chasers, another engineer's report, numerous video's of the problem and photographs and we are still arguing liability. SMEG won't admit there is a fault and Curry's are doing NOTHING about it. Apparently they are fully aware of our rights under consumer laws..... what a joke that is! ...the fight continues, looks like we will need to take legal action next.

Website slow. Customer service on the phone was poor an unhelpful. I would never bother with anything to do with currys or pc world again after today

I BOUGHT A NEW LAPTOP FOR OVER 300 POUNDS. IT WAS FAULTY SO I TOOK IT BACK BECAUSE IT WAS STILL UNDER GUARANTEE. HOWEVER IT TRANSPIRED THAT IT WAS MY ERROR SO THEY WOULD ONLY FIX IT FOR A HUGE FEE. I DECLINED AND ASKED FOR IT BACK. I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD BE CONTACTED WHEN IT WAS BACK. I HEARD NOTHING FOR WEEKS SO I PHONED AND I WAS TOLD I HAD TO REQUEST IT MYSELF AND WAS GIVEN A NUMBER TO PHONE. I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THIS BUT I PHONED AND ASKED FOR IT TO BE RETURNED. I WAS THEN TOLD THERE WAS A FEE TO GET IT BACK OF OVER 40 POUNDS. WHEN I COMPLAINED TO THE SHOP THEY AGREED TO GET IT BACK AND WAIVE THE FEE. GREAT I THOUGHT BUT THEN AFTER YET MORE TIME HAD GONE BY I PHONED ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT IT HAD BEEN DESTROYED. I WAS FURIOUS AND COMPLAINED IMMEDIATELY. OF COURSE THEY HAD THEIR EXCUSES SO I RECEIVED NOTHING BACK. I AM A DISABLED WOMAN AND THIS WAS MY LIFELINE AS I SPEND A LOT OF TIME IN BED. I SAVED UP FOR AGES TO BUY THIS. I WAS TREATED APPALLINGLY BY CURRY'S AND WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN. A MULTIMILLION POUNDS CORPORATION STITCHED UP A DISABLED WOMAN FOR A MERE 320 POUNDS JUST BECAUSE THEY CAN. We had a Beko oven delivered at 1.20 saturday. The delivery men didn't unpack it. As we unpacked it it was evident the box had been dropped. The top of the oven is smashed in. The drivers said to ring and we would get another delivered tomorrow. They wouldn't come back for it. It is now an hour later and all that time has been spent trying to speak to someone with sense, when we get off 'hold'. The first number we rang the guy was rude and uncooperative. He insisted my husband ripped all the packaging off to give him a serial number. Can't see the relevance! Then gave us the manufacturers number we finally found out after being on hold and giving lots of details to an automated message. Finally got through to a lady who said he was naughty giving us that number and transferred us to another number. The lady who answered that couldn't help as the number she has 'wouldn't be any good to us'. We have now been on hold for customer service, such as it is- a joke- for 46 minutes!! Getting angrier by the minute and still have no oven to cook Sunday lunch tomorrow. Get your act together and make this process easier. We should not be in this position as the fault is not of our making. It should not have been delivered in a damaged state. Someone knows they dropped it and has still let it be delivered to an unsuspecting customer -us! Update: almost 24 hours later the promised phone call to arrange new delivery has not been received. Get your act together and train your staff better!!

Black Friday farce - prices fixed to fool the consumer... Hotpoint DUE61BC cooker - before sale price = £429 (as at 18/11/15) sale price = £549 + 10% Black Friday discount (as at 28/11/15)... This is how Currys treat their customers to a good deal!! - When I queried the price increase with a manager, I was laughed at & told It wasn't smart to have waited for the sale! :(

Having sent an email to Curry's regarding very misleadimg advertising I received a reply that did not address the points I made.I then asked if they could answer the questions and the reply was so poorly written I could not understand what was being said. Dreadful service.

Had a delivery of an electric oven today, delivery only. When packaging was removed there was severe damage to back of oven it was completely bashed in. The customer service has a lot to be desired after two hours of telephone calls, numerous automated calls and departments, I finally spoke to a young man who took several details with a promise to ring back. No phone call but there was a voice mail !!!!!!! Instructing me to contact them again with the pick up reference number. Three people later I now have to wait until Sunday for it to be picked up with no guaranteed time. I have used Curry's several times, both on line and in store . I am extremely disappointed with their responses and the long drawn out process just to return faulty goods. What happened to direct customers services, one number with someone at the other end to respond.

I am appalled at currys customer service.I ordered and paid for a microwave instore on wednesday 23rd nov and was told it was in thursdays delivery. I went to collect it on thurs and it was not in. I went back on friday and after 30 mins was told it was still not in. I was given a refund and had to reorder instore. At present i have great difficulty walking or standing and all this has been a major inconvience for me.

I ordered a Silver laptop from Currys so was surprised to receive a White laptop. After checking my order confirmation this definitely stated that this should be silver, however upon visiting Currys website they had cheekily changed the description of the product to "White Silver". After contacting the useless "Knowhow" customer service team and multiple e-mails trying to explain the issue the response received was that if I am not happy I can return the laptop. After I complained that there was no point me doing this as the Silver version was no longer on their website, I was just told they sometimes make mistakes and I should just return the laptop if I was not happy. I won't be using Currys or PC world again.

Curry's have just sold me a laptop that has the Windows Defender switched off because "McAfee is taking care of your personal firewall" and it will not allow me to switch the Windows Defender back on. The main problem with this is that if I want this McAfee (which i do not) I will have to pay £40 for it. Going back in the morning - has anyone told Bill Gates about this?

Had wrong and bad advise regarding 'under work surface oven' We were assured that "the fitter would see to that" when we told the salesperson "we were changing double oven for a single oven" we thought that the oven brackets would have to be changed at least, but again were told "the fitter would deal with that" The fitter came the following day and said "it wasn't possible to fit the single oven" Currys are now refusing to reimburse the £20 we had paid for next day fitting and no compensation for the bad advice. The salespeople only want to sell and don't care about the outcome. I said ' the salespeople should go through better training before being let loose on customers ' I would never shop at Currys again.

Had a canon GX7 with shatter problem and said it was dropped which it haven't wast of time talking to curry's after service not a clue had to send it directly to canon under warranty. There repair centre are completely useless. Cardiff

Do not phone currys up its got to be the worst you have to go through that many button pushing it's unbelievable then you have put up with a recording about other products etc that you're not interested in totally fed up I practically shouted at the customer service lady when I finally got through. Never again I'll go else where

bought LG Refridgerator very noisy complained to curry and was told i should have research product before. They did not want to know even 2days on purchasing item.I opened bottom of fridge and fixed problem, Never again will i purchase from currys

Just placed an online order on the basis of a prominent messge saying "Get free next day delivery if ordered within the next 4 hours" but the confirmation displayed said it would be available from 7 days hence. I called to query this and had to make two calls to two different numbers and speak to three different people before finding anyone who would even comment. Unfortunately his only comment was that someone would email me back. Free next-day product availability is now the norm with the likes of Argos. For Currys/PC World to advertise it and not deliver it (and, apparently not even try) is simply false advertising and illegal. Why is there no zero star option?!

DO NOT USE CURRY'S ONLINE!!!!!!!!! WARNING! THEY ARE TAKING PEOPLES MONEY WITHOUT ANY PRODUCT OR SERVICE AND KEEPING IT. THEY HAVE £159 OF MY MONEY AND THEY HAVE NOT RETURNED IT. THEY DELIVERED THE WRONG PRODUCT TO MY HOUSE AND WOULDN'T AUTHORISE A PAYMENT OF MY MONEY UNTIL I RETURNED THE UNWANTED ITEM. I WAITED IN 4 DAYS AND ON ALL 4 DAYS NO ONE CAME TO COLLECT IT LIKE THEY SAID! THEN WHEN IT WAS COLLECTED THEY SAID THEY WOULD GIVE ME MONEY BACK! I HAD NOTHING! THAT WAS LAST WEEK! AND STILL NO MONEY HAS BEEN RETURNED! I ASKED AGAIN TODAY AND IT'S STILL WAITING TO BE AUTHORISED!!!! WTF! YES STILL WAITING! AND WHEN IT GETS AUTHORISED I WILL GET MY MONEY BACK, BUT OH NO NOT INSTANTLY I HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER 3-5 WORKING DAYS!!!! SHOCKING CURRY'S UTTERLY SHOCKING! I've just paid £60 for a set of wireless Bluetooth headphones SANS FIL SONY MDR-ZX330BT. They are supposed to connect to any bluetooth device. I just want to say do not waste your money the only thing they connect to is apple ipad. I have numerous other Bluetooth devices that they failed to connect with currys must no of this fault but still sell them PLEASE DO NOT BUY YOUR KIDS OR ANYONE THEM AS A GIFT OR THEY WILL HAVE A SAD CHRISTMAS DAY. I purchased an ESSENTIALS CSPHOBX15 Electric Solid Plate Hob - Stainless Steel in April 2015. Within lees than 6 months the rear plates have rusted and bits are crumbling off them. Contacted customer services who sent out an engineer to said it was due to spillage and as a consequence was told as it was not mechanical it would not be repaired. So be warned if you buy this product do not cook on it unless you want an unsightly appliance in your kitchen. Have shopped in currys for years but will take my business elsewhere
