“I ordered the cake as a bierthday gift. I am told tht it was amazing. However, it was delivered to completely the wrong place - on the other side of London. The courier obviously did not read the address and post code correctly. The problem was rectified by C&S promptly when notified but it was a hassle for the recipient and disappointing.”

“One of the team was incredibly helpful and responsive with an order issue caused by the delivery company. The recipients loved the gifts that I sent so can’t fault Cutter and Squidge at all for their quality, responsiveness and attentiveness. Would recommend and definitely use again!”

“I was given this afternoon tea as an anniversary gift. It was purchased via Bloom and Wild. The box was lovely. The scones were dry and tasteless. Not enough clotted cream. I could not eat the brownie. The cake sponge was also dry and inedible. I think the only reasons the reviews are good is because customers do not like to tell the buyer that it’s horrible. I told my daughter that it was lovely, so that I did not hurt her feelings.”

However, we do always advise using the DPD tracking link provided in your dispatch email to set any specific delivery instructions. This helps support the driver and ensures deliveries are made according to your preferences. If no instructions are added, drivers will follow their standard delivery protocols, which can include leaving the parcel in a safe place. “My friend got a pic of the box having been delivered outside her door by the delivery company, yet she never found the box I had sent her when she came home. Not only that, but I had paid extra for next day delivery, which never happened due to "busy schedule". That was 27 pounds wasted.”
