“Ordered for my Mum's carer, they haven't arrived, second time this has happened. If next day delivery isn't guaranteed, then this should be made clearer when ordering. There is little point in paying such a high delivery charge, when items don't actually arrive. C&S is expensive, and unreliable, I won't be using them again.”

While DPD deliver successfully 95% of the time, they are not a guaranteed service, and we do flag this at checkout. Our prices reflect the all-natural, premium ingredients we use in every bake, so they aren’t the same as mass-produced alternatives. “The dinosauros cake was hard and dry. Very old, and I was very disappointed because it was my son's first cake, and I wanted him to try it. The outside was just butter, nauseating. Very, very dissatisfied.”

Hi llaria, Thank you for your feedback. Our cakes are freshly baked with real butter, which can make them feel firm or hard if eaten cold. We always recommend letting them come fully to room temperature before serving, as this softens the sponge and brings out the flavour. Our buttercream also has around 50% less sugar and butter than American-style frostings, so it’s lighter in taste and quite different from readily available alternatives many people are more accustomed to. “This was quite a bit of a let down. The sponge was dry and the buttercream was not smooth; you could feel the sugar crystals in the cream. This did not meet our expectations or the quality we expect from Cutter and Squidge.”

“Great company making great cakes, excellent rewards for members. I think the prices are a little too high, particularly as delivery can be expensive. Really happy to see that some of the classic Cutter and Squidge cakes that haven't been available for national delivery are now being made available. This is a great improvement!”
