“The cake was intended as an impromptu wedding cake for my brother who got married at short notice in at the hospice where he’s receiving palliative care. The cake was delivered directly to the hospice and I didn’t see it until the afternoon of the wedding. The disc with the names of bride and groom was broken, the outside looked as if it had melted despite being in the fridge. It looked an absolute mess and I was embarrassed to have ordered it for them. I had to leave the wedding early but I was told it tasted ok. Such a shame!”

Hi Steven, Thank you for your review — we do want to make sure the full picture is visible here. We've looked carefully into order CS1289282 and can confirm that the order included a Passionfruit and Pistachio cake, twelve rose gold skinny candles and a complimentary gift message, which was included as requested. No personalised disc and no piped message were selected or charged for at checkout, and the amount charged reflects exactly what was ordered. When you first got in touch, our advisor responded with a link to edit the order directly. We didn't receive a response to that, and no changes were made to the order before it was dispatched. We're sorry if that part of the process wasn't clear enough, and we understand that's frustrating. We completely understand the frustration when a birthday cake doesn't arrive as you pictured it. But we do want to make sure our records are clear on what was included in this order. If you believe there's anything still outstanding, please do reach out at hello@cutterandsquidge.com and we'll look into it fully.

“Absolutely delicious! It was the perfect choice for our 20th anniversary celebration — every bite was just yumm! ❤️ I love chocolate, while my husband prefers fruity and creamy flavours, so finding something that beautifully combined both was amazing.
