“Tasted fantastic, but is actually tiny... I know I should have read the dimensions before ordering but I kind of just assumed that for the price it would be a normal size cake, but it could very easily fit in the palm of your hand 😅 That said, delivery was easy and arrived safely on Christmas Eve which was much appreciated for a Boxing Day birthday.”

“Having an afternoon tea delivered to your door was perfect. However, the mince pies weren’t good - dry mincemeat and tough pastry. The scones were delicious and the ginger cake very rich and kept for another day. The tea was good! I bought this on Black Friday- I’d never pay the full price !”

“I have had 2 boxes from C&S. The first box was really great so we looked forward to the second - but it was a disappointment. The brownies in the 2nd box were dry and tasteless. Have given 3/5 stars because of the mixed results.”

“It's quite a big cake so definitely enough to feed how many it says. The marshmallow was sooo good and not too sweet. It was delivered early morning which was great but the actual boxed was not sealed properly so the cake was basically open. Apart from that it was yummy.”

“I bought cookies as a gift for a friend. They looked good and friend said that they were lovely. Personally, I'm fed up with constant emails asking for feedback. Will not make this mistake again. Ask once, twice if you are desperate. But no more, thanks.”

We bake our products fresh daily, use all natural ingredients and make product quality a priority. The cake should be served at room temperature at which point the sponge should become light and fluffy and not be dry. We are not sure if you had stored it in the fridge.
