“Cake was absolutely amazing only thing I would say was that at times it had to much icing and not enough cake 😂 but it still tasted amazing and the boyfriend loved it too”

“Described by one guest as the best birthday cake they’d ever had - the cake itself was absolutely superb. Unfortunately there was an issue with the delivery which arrived a day late (luckily I had built in contingency time). This was the delivery company’s fault and not C&S - however C&S gave exactly the right response, an explanation, apology and a generous gift voucher. Delivery glitches happen, but their great response mean I will definitely be using them again!”

“Taste was lovely, however the cake appeared smaller than expected and the happy birthday message was on a little card not iced on the cake as I thought. As a birthday cake it was disappointing. I accept this was likely just my wrong expectations and the cake was tasty with a good texture. I had the Eton mess cake before which was amazing!”

“Smooth delivery and easy to order online. The cake was lovely and moist, we enjoyed it very much for a family birthday occasion. The buttercream is slightly on the sweet side, so it’ll be great if there’s an option to perhaps reduce the amount of sugar.”

“The cake was absolutely delicious and very filling. Everyone enjoyed it and there was plenty to go around as the portion sizes were correct on the site. My only complaint is that, while there was enough cake, it looked very small and so, despite the lovely design, looked a little bit underwhelming due to such a small diameter.”

“Delivery is reliable and the cake very tasty and rewarding. However, to purchase a small six inch cake is incredibly expensive. For wheat-free or vegan I end up paying around £50 which really is more than I can justify spending. It has been fun to have a celebratory cake on several occasions, but I think it’s time to draw in my horns on this.”

“Great online service and delivery. Great taste too. My daughter loved her surprise cake.. The only improvement I would recommend is a smaller time slot delivery as we had to wait on all day for the delivery and in fact had to order a day ahead as I wasn’t sure what time the delivery would arrive.”
