“Disappointing service - selected and paid for 'priority delivery', my item was due to be dispatched Thursday for delivery Friday, no notification to say it had been dispatched on Thursday so I called Friday to track it, to be told it hadn't yet been dispatched so I wouldn't receive it on Friday (I needed the shoes for Saturday). I asked if they'd be delivered Saturday, was told they could 'on this occasion arrange a special Saturday delivery', as if it had been myself in the wrong and I was being an inconvenience. I confirmed I would like them delivered the Saturday...no sign of them, expected delivery Monday...still didn't arrive. Finally late on Tuesday they were delivered, no phone call or email update from the company. Not what you expect when paying so much for a pair of shoes.”

“Last September I bought a pair of Daniel loafers in Glasgow while on Holiday. Since I have come back home to Victoria, Australia, I have purchased another 4 pairs of Daniel loafers, and am extremely happy with very purchase, with the ease of the internet and delivery time has been exceptional especially to Australia. “I returned the flip flops as they where not the colour I thought they would be, tired to call there customer services, it went to answer machine left message that was a week ago, still waiting for them to call me back, also haven't received refund, so not impressed with Daniel footwear, quick to take your money but no after sales customer services.”

“I ordered some Ugg boots from Daniels which is the first time I had bought anything from them. The service was very good, when I couldn't track my order their email response was quick and helpful. The boots themselves were packaged very nicely in tissue paper outside the box. I would definitely use them again.”

“Email sent 28 March 2014 to Daniel Footwear Good afternoon I had intended waiting until close of business today in the hope I would receive my order before contacting you. I was somewhat concerned that is was now day 6 since ordering. Would you believe an extremely honest gentleman has just knocked at my door and presented me with the boots! The boots were delivered to the wrong address. The City Link label address is flat 2, 2 Seacroft Court, Sea Road, Boscombe, BH5 1DL….wrongly addressed. It restores ones faith in people that this gentleman took the trouble to try my address. I thought it was important for you to know in the hope you don’t lose money during these difficult financial times. Kind regards Linda As yet no reply!”

“This was via telephone. Initial experience was very good. Unfortunately, the request I made wasn't executed properly and I (Daniel Shoes) 'lost' the shoes I requested even though I was assured (including via email) that they were reserved for me. I rang to buy them (the only reason I didn't buy it a couple of days prior was because I didn't want them to be delivered to my house whilst I was away for a couple of days) and that seemed ok and I paid for them. Unfortunately, a couple of days later I received an email saying that they had refunded my money as they didn't have the shoes. I rang (again) and a pleasant man said that they had been sent to some other customer. I was very disappointed and angry. There were no more of that colour of shoe (specifically wanted and purchased by me) available. They offered me one in a different colour (beige) at a decent reduction, which I accepted. However, I would much, much rather have had the ones I bought - I am still unsure whether to return the beige pair - they are not a patch on the ones I originally thought I had bought. The reduction was a good sweetner, but I would pay more for the ones I wanted (as I say, I still haven't worn the beige - not sure I want them). Everyone was very pleasant - but I would rather that the system had worked!”
