I ordered on line for the first time only to be told that they could only process my order if I sent a copy of my passport and utility bill. I didn't want to do this so asked to cancel my order. I have now been informed that it will take up to 7 working days to refund me. This is the first and last time I order anything from decathalon. I am very disappointed.

Ordered football boots (Adidas Copa Mundial) online for instore collection, received email to advise product now in store so drove to store, collected product and returned home only to find that size is not what I ordered - I ordered UK 8.5 (clear on invoice) and received UK 9. Tried calling the store to complain only to get a recorded message that it's closed - it's not closed at 4:30pm on a Sunday! Now i'll have to do another roundtrip to the store to return them. Don't think i'll be ordering from Decathlon again.

checked on line for a sweatsuit said it was available at the Surrey Quays branch when to the branch none in stock so ordered on line at the branch to be collected at my local branch Croydon, went to the tills to pay the system failed and the order was lost.....was a total waste of time....I will never look to shop at Decathlon again.....and for all my inconvienance was only offered a 10% discount which totalled £1.19....DECATHLON MASSIVELY FAILED ME....never again.

Me...2 mins to select item. Me...2 mins to pay for item (Now £30+ out of bank) Decathlon....Now £30+ up and in Bank. Decathlon.......A week to acknowledge an order.....DUHHHH!!! Decathlon......The acknowledgement was only to tell me its out of stock.......DUHHHH!!!! Decathlon.......Will now happily pay me back my refund in another 7 days........Smart !!!!! Me.........DUHHHHHH!!!! Bumped again!! Even if they did have ithe item it was still a 2 week turnaround.. Avoid Avoid Avoid Try to buy at your peril. My money is on a 2 week holiday..

Just awful! I used a voucher to buy just one item. It had to be refunded and the voucher they gave me back was for my use only. I can't give it away or sell it on and I have contacted them for a transferable voucher and they have refused. I had an sizing issue with a bike I bought in store (no advice given). Because the model had been superseded by the time my subsequent research was complete. I was unable to return it and get like for like in the right size. Expected to surrender the the advantage I gained from a decathlon sale to get the new model proved too expensive for me to consider. The store management would not allow an exchange where I offered to pay the difference between the retail price of each bike (old model/new model). I asked to go higher than the store manager and they would not give me details of who I could speak to. So I used e-mail contact with customer support. I got a reply asking for details which I then supplied. Thats where the trail ends, I'm not happy with customer service from start to finish. The product was fine but regrettably returned instead of exchanged.

If you are looking to receive a refund from this company - good luck. They promise to refund you but you never see the money. I will never use this company again! disgusting.

I have been trying to buy a swim suit but the 'subscribe to newsletter' pop up will not go away so I cannot proceed to my purchase. I do not want to go to sportsdirect for their terrible employee treatment, but your website does not make it easy. I really do not want to be required to subcribe to a mailing list then unsubscribe. This take my time, like having to write this feedback does.

After bad experiences with website stock information in the past I decided to ring the store and check availability of fitbits before driving an hour. After working through an unnecessary menu system I then had to listen to promotions and adverts for 5 mins before the menu system then reset itself back to the start. The whole experience a bit of a shambles. Will just pay the extra money and buy from Currys

When I buy something after few days get email sorry product is out of stock. Bad customer service. Never get any compensation for long waiting time or cancel transaction. All summary very bad experience!

My order was supposed to be received on 15 Dec but didn't arrive. I had tried to follow my order online but just kept sending me to returns but I had received my order ! I contacted decathlon by phone and they explained they couldn't send the order as one item wasn't in stock. Nobody had contacted me by email to explain this problem or to say my package wouldn't be arriving. The lady on the phone confirmed I could change my order which I did and it would be sent out that day. Easy really ! She confirmed that due to the problems I had she would priorities my order and I would receive it by 23 Dec. Well that's another story as The couriers didn't deliver and when you went on their website it stated that they had tried to deliver and they hadn't as we had waited in all day this went on and on until one day the package arrived very late as a Christmas present in the new year.

Long drawn out situation still not remedied! I was sent completely the wrong order which I returned at my cost. I have been offered vouchers to cover postage however I do not want vouchers ! They have refused and take days to even reply. I will not be using this site again

Absolutely unacceptable to not ship order for more than 4 working days after order is placed and payment sent for products marked as in stock!!! Will never again purchase trough Decathlon if there is a way to purchase from other store!!!

Item was guarenteed delivery. Arrived nearly a week after that. Had to spend £12 on data as I was abroad to sort out friends to collect. When they tried they were denied the package. Terrible service and minimal communication from you.

Delivery was detailed by a week with no notification or updates to tell me why. Items arrived one day before holiday after ordering well in advance. Very disappointed with service.

Poor updates on progress of collection. Present was late. The bike had missing parts, customer service in store was poor. Really dissatisfied with service.

I placed my order in plenty of time for my holiday, however on the agreed arrival date it did not turn up, I called and was told it was delayed in France but would be with me the next day, it never came, I called again and was told it would be with me by my holiday it had been packed and was waiting collection for the courier - it never arrived, I called again, there was not room on the van for it! (I suggested getting another van!) it would still arrive by my holiday, they had messaged the warehouse and it was priority. My holiday date arrived, but my holiday shopping hadn't, it actually arrived 4 days after I had left - I still await some kind of explanation as to this delay, an apology might help too!
