“I discovered Decathlon while traveling in France a few years ago, what a great place it proved to be, so every time l have been back to France l always made an effort to visit. Now of course l can buy everything l need from there on the internet, but it doesn't give you an idea of the great range, attention to detail, and helpful, knowledgeable staff that run the place. l recommend Decathlon to all my friends, so they don't waste their time any where else. Everything l have bought from them l struggle to see how they can sell this kind of quality for this kind of price; amazing. Try it, you can't go wrong.”

“Assistance in the store was knowledgable and helpful. The bike - BTwin 540 - is great value and a high spec. However, the documentation that comes withe bike is very poor. For example, there is an assumption that one knows how the gears function; well I don't! There are some tools and some small plastic bits and I still don't know what they are for. Not good enough.”

“The value of the coats is very good. I'm quite happy with the children's coats as they all perform well. I'm pretty pleased with mine although only time will tell if the pockets/fittings are all fit for purpose (sailing jacket/coat). Only 4 stars as the delivery was delayed due to a stock issue with one coat.”

“I ordered my horse riding boots on a Wednesday evening and it was delivered by Friday afternoon. Surprisingly quick! It was easy to register and order it online, the boots were cheap and actually very comfortable. Great value for money! Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.”

“I purchased 8 tents costing £438. Before purchasing I contacted the lakeside store seeking a possible discount as they were for a scouts group. My first email was ignored. I sent a second and was told no discount. 4 weeks later, after purchase online I received a further email from lakeside offering a 10% discount on the purchase. But too late as already purchased. Not happy!!!”
