There is a lot I like about using Decathlon online. The range of goods is wide, they are excellent value for money and made accessible when like me you live far from a store. They process their orders reasonably quickly, and most importantly they give an option of carriers, a choice which matters to me because some are less convenient than others. However, in my experience Decathlon let themselves down when it comes to processing returns. I have had to return two items on two different occasions and each time resulted in such a long delay in their warehouse acknowledging my return that I have had to email and call them before my return order could be processed.

It is really thruh to size ;) my son is tiny and he is 6 so I got the cotiume for 120 cm .is just perfect

Bought a Tribord easy breathe integrated snorkel and mask. Order was handled well, the product arrived quickly and well packaged. Product itself was amazing on holiday in the Galapagos - very easy to put on, fitted brilliantly, didn't leak, didn't fog up, great all round vision. Would recommend both Decathlon and product.

Normally very good service from Decathlon although the last time I ordered my package was missing an item and it took me over a month to get it sent out. I was not very impressed with customer services but have never had issues before.

Ordered the items and was told would take 3 days, but the items turned up overnight, great service, but more people needed at the checkout as there was loads of people waiting and only 1 operator.

I'm never using this company again. I received the wrong size Called the Loyalty Team and the agent tried to argue that they had sent the right size because it was the right European size. I said I ordered the UK size. She then tried to tell me about the problems they had with suppliers etc etc. I really had to argue to get my refund. Never using this company again if I can help it. Awful service.

We looked into the cause of this error and have discovered that we have made a miscalculation with the UK & US sizing of this model. Different brands use different measurements to measure their footwear, we have applied our Decathlon branded size chart to this product which has caused the UK & US conversion to be incorrect, the EU size remains correct. We apologise profoundly for this inaccuracy and will be reporting this back to product manager to make the necessary changes so that we can avoid this occurring in the future. Ordered an item prior to the bank holiday and did not expect it until afterwards as it was a gift, but it turned up immediately the very next day, very good service

I bought a nordictrack e400 cross trainer from the Bolton store. The team were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The manager in particular was extremely helpful and provided 11/10 for service. The registration for the account and advice on the product was excellent. Great product and excellent service. Will definitely go out of my way to visit the store again even though I live 30 miles away. Thank you.

After a poor start having received confirmation by email that my bike was now ready to be collected from the store only to find upon arrival that it had in fact was not the case and that a lack of communication failure on the store part to pre-warn me. But to give credit the Staff at the Reading store particular Irene was fantastic. She instantly contact the group local warehouse to enquire about the location of my bike after an intrepid 30 mins conversation on the phone still no resolution as they were unable to track the bike. Later that evening as promised I'd received a phone call from Irene explaining that they would have to order me an replacement bike from France which would take a few days to arrive and for my patience and understanding due to the disruption caused by means of an voucher compensation of a reasonable amount would be credited to me. A few days later my bike and clothing had finally arrived now I am happy as Larry. In a nutshell, after a poor start not quite the Bank Holiday weekend that I'd was hoping for it all came good in the end in relatively quick time!

Visited the Harlow store 13/05/2016 and was followed by the security employee whilst I shopping - made to feel uncomfortable and it was rather offensive. After queuing and paying - same employee then asked to search my personal ruck sack. Not wanting to make a scene, I obliged and after searching thoroughly inside and all pockets handed my bag back without so much as an apology! This was NOT a welcoming experience, and I'm certainly not returning to this store or any other DECATHLON store. In a time when you think high street stores should make the customer feel welcome, this store thinks it should humiliate and offend customers and drive them onto internet shopping, where I'll be going in future!
