“Ordered shoes in May and they were never delivered (it is now December 9th). The seller has made every attempt to blow me off and has been "checking on the order" for 6 months. No shipping updates have been given nor any inclination I will ever see my shoes or money back. Any attempts to resolve this through customer service have been unsuccessful as they say the only way I can get a refund is if the SELLER gives me one...How does that make any sense?!?! So if (WHEN) the seller intentionally receives your money and never ships your products, you have to rely on THEM to get your money back...UNACCEPTABLE!!! Infuriating. SCAM. AVOID. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH. I'd give 0 stars if I could. Kiss your $ goodbye if you buy something from here.”

“Ordered some bridesmaids dresses and we did receive them with no problem. However they were made extremely cheap and were very stiff so we came to an agreement with the seller to return them of course the shipping to return it cost half of what we paid, but hey at least we should get some back. However now a month has past and the seller says they haven't received them yet. They're very impatient. Shipping from Canada to China will take much longer than one month. Certainly not pleased with the customer service. Afraid to say may have lost over $350 to them... whatever you do, don't shop there.”

“This site is definitely not customer service oriented. If there is any issue ,item , payment ,delivery, size, anything ,you will be in for a battle. The customer service reps will not budge, if you can’t resolve ,every time you contact them you will have to reiterate the issue, it almost seems as they try to wear you down, so you will just give up and their problem is solved. Unfortunately, they lose massive customers that way. If you want a fight with DHGate you’ll get it, however some of the sellers are very good,it’s real hit n miss. Good luck”

“Terrible customer service if something is wrong with the product you order. 1) don't be fooled - these are knock off products. No licences for producing Team Jerseys or Electronic brand name. They are counterfeit through and through. 2) if that does not bother you, try and return a product. it can cost more than the item you purchased did. Then all of a sudden Customer Service starts reading from a book. They don't know you. No Refund on product or mailing cost - you are on your own. There are better companies out there that deserve your money better than DHGate.”

“I have paid for a pink satin pajama size medium, but I have received a much smaller size, I have tried several times to write to the seller to get refunded and to send back the item its been refused all the times, I am very disappointed about the lack of customer service and I will never buy again from this website, beside that I will always make sure my friends won't buy from them ever again! The answer I have received: buy another pajama will give you a discount!! Disgusting”

“I am currently in the middle of my third attempt at buying a guitar from DHgate. The first two times the seller provided me with fake tracking numbers; although I was able to get my money back, I spent six weeks waiting on each package that never came. This time I contacted the seller and formed a rapport prior to purchasing. However, despite the extra steps that I have taken, the seller has given my a fake tracking number under the pretext of having had to do so to meet the shipping deadline. According to the seller, the shipping deadline was not met because the guitar is a custom piece. That was 3 weeks ago and still no updated tracking number. Time to start the refund process. I have wasted a total of 4 months with DHgate trying to buy a guitar. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE.”

“Ordered two guitars and they were shipped to destinations hundreds of miles from my home. Disputed the transaction and received a full refund but there are a lot scammers posing as sellers. Never again.”

“for a small $122.00 I was ripped off… DO NOT SHOP WITH gzproduct for a small $122.00 I was ripped off yea I released the payment on purpose to leave a bad review and I hope that feeds their whole family I’ll never shop on DHgate ever again especially due to the fact I’m in New York theres a whole china town idk why I even played myself... I ordered a coat with this seller on Nov 16,2019 I was given a tracking number on the 19th of Nov for DHL the tracking number was invalid on DHL website & it was supposed to be delivered to me November 27th I opened a dispute and the seller declined and made a proposal saying he would ship my items ,then messages me saying here’s a tracking number yes it shows on DHL, but ! all the seller did was go online and make a order for pick up of a package and in the description it says sneakers , please do not shop with this seller they scam people for their money ‼️”

“I bought a krikor jabotian dress from a vendor named officesupply. Prior to my purchase I reached out to the vendor and inquired about the quality of the dress and they told me it will look exactly what I expected. So I placed the order. When I received the dress it had nothing like what they said. I disputed my purchase because they lied to me about the product quality. They cheated me that if I shipped back the dress they will refund me in full the purchase cost + USD$35 of the return shipping. So I returned the dress. After more than 1 month I reached out to them asking them if they received the dress. They NEVER responded back. I even opened a after-sale dispute ticket but they didn’t care to even deal with it. I was stupid enough to trust them to process the refund, and didn’t pay for tracking because the tracking is half the cost of the dress. I really strongly urge you not to buy from DHGate. Because around the same time I also bought a sweater from another vendor named acore. I realized how bad the product quality is after I received the dress I asked the vendor acore to refund me. Acore didn’t ship the product for like a week, then IMMEDIATELY shipped it after my refund request was opened. They denied my refund request immediately and shipped the product without even talking to me. The sweater I received is again nothing like the product description on DHGate. I had another extremely bad experience with another vendor huifangzhou too. You may think that DHGate has in place consumer protection, but they cannot enforce those policies. Vendors can cheat and lie and when you reach out to DHGate for help DHGate will be like my hands are tied. I had too much bad experience with using DHGate, and strongly encourage you use other ecommerce websites for your online purchase because you really don’t wanna deal with Chinese vendors that cheat and lie to consumers. If you see good reviews about DHgate, I suspect they buy those good reviews themselves because I dealt with 4 different vendors and none of them are good.”

“bought a guitar from dhgate and is piece of junk (picture is deceiving). Neck was cracked at the neck, nut slot is too big to hold the nut (nut was glue on), string slot filed too low causing string to buzz. Neck is a mess, lower part is correctable, high strings are curve down and can't be fix.”

“It started out good, ordered 5 things got 4, then I ordered a lot of things, particularly from the social savings, too good to be true! All in all, I ordered 46 items and have received 11. I dispute them and wait a few weeks and always get my money back, Dhgate is aware of the scammers but they set up a process and you must wait a significant amount of time. They allow 2 months for delivery then you can dispute, it’s tricky though. it’s tricky to make you frustrated and not bother. That’s how the scam works. You order, they send out fake responses that it was shipped and they most times keep up the charade that it’s on delivery. It’s a fake tracking system. Eventually they add that it was delivered days ago to an address across the country. It takes so long and I was unaware of this scam at the time. That’s why the amount of orders in a 2 month period. The items I did get were good. I am done ordering and taking my business elsewhere, luckily many competitive sites exist.”
