“Lovely towels, super light weight and in a beautiful pink colour, will be great for travel (when travel is a thing again! ) The button ensures the hair towel stays on your head and does not slip. One criticism is that they absorbe water very well , which is obviously what you want, but as they are thin, even if you wringe your hair out before putting towel on, it stays very wet and struggles to dry rhe hair further as it holds water. Luckily I bought a double pack so I use one to initially take most of the excess water away from the hair. Then combe it through before wrapping in the dry 2nd towel to get the best performance. I can honestly say my hair blow dries better as more moisture is removed. Would recommend but buy the double pack if you have long or thick hair.”

“It doesn’t make my hair as dry as I thought it would after 20-30 minutes but it still speeds up drying time. Looks nice.”

Hi Freya Hope you're well! There's no set requirement for wearing the hair wraps as they're not designed to fully dry your hair but be a gentler alternative to a towel. They wick water out of hair quicker and more thoroughly than cotton towels which keeps your hair shiny and reduces frizz (still trying to work out the secret to frizz free!) They prevent breakage and promote moisture retention and should be able to cut your drying time down by loads! I recommend wringing out your hair as much as possible, putting your products in, combing your hair and wrapping it up. It won't be completely dry when it comes out but its so gentle on your hair and you should be ready for styling :) Let me know if you have any questions Best wishes Sarah

“The Pros: - Super lightweight and fold down super small - A good size for adults and they dry fast - Love the stripes The Cons: - Very thin so that will take some getting used to. I expected the fluffy microfibre like cloths are made from. - Our pink/white one leaked colour onto itself in the wash before we’d even used it once which was a bit disappointing (see picture)”

“I ordered this mainly to speed up the drying process for my shoulder length hair. It doesn't seem to have made much difference on that front which is why I have only given 3 stars but is useful to keep my wet hair out of the way whilst I apply my makeup. I was really hoping it would speed up my drying time as other brands I've used have. Otherwise, lovely colours, good size and prompt delivery.”

“Very soft material. I've got short but thick hair, and with dock & bay it dried a little quicker. That being said , it does not fully dry hair, hair is still damp. I feel like it can't absorb a lot of water compared to regular towel. However it has made it easier for me to tuck hair in and keep it high up whilst I'm getting ready.”

“The towel size is great but when it gets wet the towel doesn’t dry quickly. The sand sticks when the towel is wet. I like the size and how small it is when folded but I’m not 100% happy with it.”

“Difficult to comment on the brand as a whole as I just wanted to review the head towel and haven’t ordered anything else. I usually use a microfibre hair towel and although the Dock & Bay one is definitely more stylish I found that it doesn’t take the wetness away from my head in the same way, but instead it feels like I have a wet rag on it. Bit disappointed in that but it looks nice and the material is very smooth and soft.”

“Delivery is pricey. Packaging is a bit over the top for what it is. I would love the packaging if I needed to store it, but as it is it just went in the bin”

“I love Dock and Bay towels and think they make a great gift, that's why I bought 3 more for Christmas presents. The watermelon and green stripe ones are fine, however I am quite disappointed with the Bondi blue, the stitching is a bit of a mess, I am too nervous to pull in case the whole lot comes away.”

“Good delivery and purchase process. However, I didn’t feel like the hair wrap really works. Definitely soaks up excess moisture but doesn’t actually dry your hair. More like keeps it damp for longer”

“Not a bad towel. I expected it to be more absorbent and have a fluffy towel like feel. However, it’s very thin. It does dry well and quickly and seems sand repellent. I love the colours too.”
