DPD are the new Hermes of the parcel world. Today is the second time in as many months where I’ve paid to have my parcel delivered to my ‘safe place’ only to have it thrown at my front door and left to then get stolen. Absolutely woeful service, you’re better off tying your package to a passing car.

Why do companies use these? We received a text at our table in our home saying we'd missed a delivery within the very minute we had supposedly 'missed it.' All other couriers are able to easily find us, as stated on our address at 'THE REAR' of a high street number. ONLY DPD can NOT do this and always, seemingly when it is important or deadlines. They have one driver called Chris who has been excellent. However, when he is not around this is where their ability to deliver on time ends.

Worse company ever. Totally incompetent. Tried to deliver to the wrong address several times (with their picture to prove it e.g. showing the wrong house) and then accused me of being out (err I was in, but at the right address). Gave them additional description of the house - they didn't pass this to the driver, so he went to the wrong house AGAIN. I missed three days of work waiting. Their chat helpline was useless. I then got a call to say the driver was returning this evening, so I waited in again - he didn't show - so they lied. Was then given a number to call that was closed. So I've told Samsung (the supplier using DPD) that due to the incompetence of their courier they are in breach of contract. Never again will I use a supplier that uses DPD. And I still don't have my parcel and can't miss another day of work.

Lazy and incompetent. Couldn’t even be bothered to ring doorbell. Didn’t notify neigbours that parcel was left in their outhouse for the recipient. Will never use again.

I booked a collection with DPD, they did not collect the parcel but I had to pay £13, I decided to cancel cancel the service because they did not collect the parcel now they put my £13, in a pre-holding account and you can’t get to speak to anybody! You get the same message over and over again and then actually I was talking to somebody and they hung up on me and when you go to the chat they put you on hold saying somebody will be with you and nobody turns up now I want my money back and the fact that I cannot collect my money. I am going to go to trade-in standards because I know £13 is not a lot but is my money then shouldn’t be able to do that I would give them zero stars, but because I have to there’s one star they are the most disgusting people that I know Date of experience: 09 October 2023 Edit

Worst parcel services I have ever seen. Was waiting for my parcel to arrive today. Received a message at 10am that "your driver Pedro won't be back today. will be back on Monday (today is Friday). My order was a birthday surprise present. Ours is a gated property and takes few min to reach the gates. Driver didn't attempt to ring my door bell instead just took a photo of my main gate and left. It made me to wait for 3 days until Monday to get the parcel. This is unacceptable and their support services are not helpful to mitigate the situation. Date of experience: 13 October 2023

Paid for next day delivery. 5 days later still waiting. Worst delivery company. Customer service Not helpful. Never received my parcels on time ever from DPD. Would not purchase products from companies that use DPD to deliver them.

Collection arranged for 12/10/23. As no time was given, stopped in all day ready to answer door bell. Now have found a DPD card in the mail box stating that we weren't in when collection was attempted! No time or date on card. Ref number on card is not recognised when trying to re-arrange collection. Have had problem in the past when trying to send parcel by DPD. Had to collect parcel from drop off point and claim charges back. Appalling service. Would not use again. Evri are far better.

Parcel sent to wrong depot resulting in not receiving delivery. 2nd time in 2 weeks this has happened. Not good enough 🤬🤬

They are useless. They don't attempt to deliver. This is not the first time I have been home and they have told me they "tried" but that is not true. I have even waited for them with the allotted one-hour time slot and they didn't show up. Once, my dogs barked when they came to the gate (I saw the delivery van outside!) but the driver didn't come into the courtyard and by the time I got outside he had left.

The driver was running late. I was in all day but received a message stating that the driver had tried to deliver my package. He then went and dropped it off at a pick up location costing me more money as I have to get a cab there and back. Appalling service

Worst delivery company ever. They usually don't even bother ringing to deliver your package, they directly notify that you were not there (seen it happen through my window several times, driver arrived, looked around, and bam I get a notification that I wasn't there. Then I have to run out to catch the guy and get my package) Absolutely ridiculous

Every time I have something delivered by DPD they send a text saying the driver is delayed and this usually happens for 3 days running and then they usually leave the parcel on the doorstep. Not impressed. No other delivery service is as bad.

DPD are just the best company you’ll ever find. They never lie about the fact they’ve attempted delivery, they never take a blank screenshot to evidence you weren’t in your little black hole. They never take a random picture of a house 5 miles from where you live. You can always get through to customer services where you are dealt with by polite staff. The staff never lie either. I LIE TOO. What a load of s##t they are

And they did it again! Paid £10 to get it delivered Saturday, 7/10/23, just to get an email that says the driver could delivered because I was not at home. I was. Heck the photo uploaded by driver and was not my house. My address is correct, not ambiguous on google maps. No costumer service no one to help. So I am left with another attempted delivery tomorrow without knowing if the driver can actually reach my house. Shambolic…. This is a rip off of money from people can can only receive deliveries over the weekend… there is no way in hell the driver could not find my address, this is because they didn’t have time and make up an ridiculous excuse… because dpd does not have enough driver to guarantee a service that is paid … how is this company still allowed to do business? I will avoid purchasing anything that uses this company and already complained directly to the sender about them as well. They need to ensure delivery is appropriate.

DPD drivers are not responsible for anything. Company tries to protect their privacy, but it is the worst system ever for the customers. Do not use dpd if you want to buy anything very special and expensive.

Took a photo of the next street and said he left a card. Absolute shocking service. Paid for next day delivery for Friday. Now delivering Monday.
