Another DPD cock-up today for me - waited in all day for arranged delivery showing on tracking only to find that parcel was still in depot - how does this keep happening - logistics by Mickey Mouse. Rang to complain and listened to recorded message saying that they were unusualy busy ( I guess with complaints ?) and to go on line or ring back later. Just waisted 20 mins on hold then got through and line went dead...tried again and the same happened so gave up...So annoyed with this lot - useless !!

Had a company in France use them. They booked a delivery and gave me the DPD tracking number. I looked it up on the DPD website and it showed as booked in. Then nothing happened for a few days and no updates. I rand Customer Services and waited 35 mins to be connected !!! They then informed me that they had no record of the booking and could not help !! So it seems that I can sit at home and find record of this parcel in their 'system' and yet they say they cannot trace or recognise the tracking number or the delivery ever being booked. I asked to speak to a manager and after a long wait some very confrontational and rude person came on (I asked for his name - He said it was Josh but said they did not give out surnames) and was just argumentative and rude. He then said that my call had lasted too long and as I was not a direct client (!!!) our conversation was in breach of Data protection and he put the phone down on me.....Absolutely disgracefull behaviour. Does this imply that they cannot talk to anyone chacing their parcel delivery who did not book it??? What a pathetic response nd one of someone who clearly couldn't care less about the customer or trying to identify their failures....As others have mentioned their prerecorded greeting about manners and no excuse for rudeness is just hypocritical considering their confrontational and rude approach to customer service !! This is the last time using DPD for me - they seem intent on insulting thier customers intelligence with the lack of their own.

Another parcel sat in the Depot dispite them giving me a delivery time and me taking time off work to receive it. Customer Services couldn't care less and were not helpfull at all - in fact they were rude. There was no senior contact given when I asked who to complain to so instead I have passed on my complaint to the company that employed their services informing them that DPD are totally unreliable which must reflects on any company employing their services. I will always ask who the courier is from now on and not buy from anyone using DPD - just not worth the hassle and uncertainty when there are more reliable (and cheaper) services out there! I wonder if DPD read or care about any of these reviews as they just get worse?

Rubbish. Awful service. 7 days later still not received, so I contacted them, waiting ages on the phone (20 mins) to be told parcel was sitting at the depot. So why haven’t they delivered? I asked, they said they didn’t know basically that they’d ‘contact the depot’. So I said when will I hear from you again then? About ‘1-2 days’ they said. 1-2 days! Seriously. I don’t know what’s happening to my parcel, if it’s ever going to be delivered- and good job I contacted because I probably never received it! They never told me any thing?! So I asked for speedy service saying I was very disappointed, they didn’t say anything to that and I am yet to receive my parcel! Awful service that’s very expensive for what it is. Will be using Hermes next time- much better service.

More chance of winning the lottery than receive a reliable service from DPD in my experience (no I'm not a lottery winner) DPD is totally unreliable. They seem unaccountable, complacent and their phone Customer Service is a painful frustrating and insulting 'service' if you have the patience and time to wait over 30 minutes to get through listening to their pre recorded excuses about 'exceptionally busy at this tim blah blah blah'. It then seems impossible to talk to anyone who is the slightest respectful or interested in resolving customers concerns through DPD s failings. They are very comfrontational and disrespectful and seem to be unable to resolve anything. They dont even seem to have the ability to listen carefully to understand concerns. How are they stillll in business ?!! Awefull ! Will use others from now on.

Received email on monday saying item would be delivered today,Weds 5th Sept. Waited in all day....nothing. Went on their website at 17:29,only to be informed (no text or further email etc.) that it's now supposed to be here tomorrow. It would appear that they're a complete heap of lying incompetents, whereas they most definitely aren't a bunch of incompetent liars,as lying through their back teeth is the only thing they seem to do competently and consistently.

order no.15503768790048.Received a text message and email with 1 hour slot between 9.30 and 10.30,saw the dpd van down the road, then saw it drive away past my house,i thought that was strange.why not stop here, later found out that driver dave had delivered my parcel to no3 which is two roads and three houses away, had to collect myself. me thinks dave needs to get himself some glasses so he can read the difference between 3 and 5. just hope i don"t have dpd delivering to me often in the future.

I read these aweful reviews on the three main review sites with interest as I thought that it was just me that DPD Customer Services were being extremely rude to as they tried to defend this terrible service with lies ! (take note - Sinead Croke !) I agree that their Customer Services process is just a disgrace from begining to end - as is their parcel service. You guys need to look at how well some of your competitors manage to be efficient. Maybe the difference is that they respect their customers and clients !! You certainly don't and there seems little interest in improving your service from the mess that it is obviously in.

Their rediculous condescending prerecorded message played to you after waiting 40 minutes due to being exceptionally busy (with hundreds of complaints I assume. Just infuriates the situation and stress levels further. The message should warn 'You are about to talk to a thick parrot. The parrot will recite scripted answers irrelevent to your particular circumstances and query. They will tell you a pack of lies. They will not help. in a few minutes of conversation they will ask you to repeat the question you have 3-4 times proving they are not listening or able to understand. You then might have to talk to their 'superior' in desperation. At that point you will realise that the first part of the call was just a warm up for the main act. You will then be insulted by someone who is equally ignorant, disinterested and unhelpful. But please be prepared for him/her to be extremely confrontational and rude. Instead of their greeting warning you not to be rude they should warn you that you and your intellegence are about to be extremely insulted by a staff that clearly couldn't care less, probably hate their job and are unable to defend the shambles that is DPD. They should also warn that you are about to waste 40 mins of your life (on top of the hours that you have wasted waiting for parcels that don't arrive as promised). DPD is your worst nightmare and should, and probably will, be out of business soon. I WILL NEVER BE USING DPD AGAIN AND WILL AVOID BUYING FROM COMPANIES THAT USE THEM.

I was given a one hour delivery slot of 2-3pm for delivery. On the tracking page, at 4.30pm, I watched the van drive away and back to the depot 40 miles away. Raised it with DPD, was told it's okay just a driver change, be with you by 10pm. Nothing turned up. At 10pm, the tracking page changed to say it would be delivered the next day between 0600 and 2200hrs. Nothing arrived. Or the day after that. It arrived three days late, the page saying today's the day then changing to the next day at 10pm. Absolute shoddy customer service...and the tech provides absolutely no useful information.

Don't post deliverys that's what they stand for. Two orders in 4 days both times I get a text saying no one was home....there definitely was. Second delivery I tracked the delivery online and waited outside...to receive a text saying no one was home. I would never personally use this company...unless o didn't want my parcel to arrive absolutely useless. Love how when you call it takes over an hour to get through and there's a recorded message saying "we understand you might be frustrated, but don't take it out on our staff" it's like they know that's the only reason people are going to call them

Did not deliver during target one hour slot. Claimed to have visited address when they did not and there was no card. The previous time they did this I called them and the manager admitted they had not visited but has run out of time in their schedule. I later found that calling them had cost me over £5 in premium rate charges! Suggest you avoid using DPD at all costs. I will not be using suppliers that use DPD in future.

As others have noted - worst Customer Services ever. Totally unreliable service and only ring customer services if you are happy to wait for 40 mins to get through to be insulted by either staff who are unable to help or ones who seem intent on being very confrontational and insulting. Useless unreliable service. Companies should not use them if they value thier customers and reliability. Customer Care Service if and when you get through is just pathetic and will waste much more of your time and increase your blood pressure. Dreadful!

Rudest most confrontationa ignorant and insulting customer services - as for the pathetic message that greets you after your 30 minute wait to get through advising the customer that there is no excuse for rudeness !! Surely this is just desperation and certainly heralds the rudeness and disinterest from them that follows. Having got nowhere with a legitimate question about a package that they could not trace (even though it showed on tracking on their website !!!) I asked to be put through to a manager. Another long wait and then someone called Josh comes on and is arrogant, completely unhelpful rude and confrontational - Single handed he ensured that I will NEVER use DPD again !! Has he not queued for 30-40 minutes to get through, had a condescending greeting advising about manners and then been put through to disinterested people trying to defent a service that is clearly broken with no helpful advice other than to fill in the online complaint forms (which they will not read). This company is clearly in big trouble and seems to have no desire to identify and solve customers questions and complaints. Just the opposite they (lead by those further up the peanut chain) seem to want to insult and alienate their customers. My impression was that they couldn't give a toss about resolving the many company issues or more revealingly the customer - to the point of extreme rudeness. Their customer care call centre does seem to be a case of monkeys and peanuts. My advice is to AVOID DPD AT ALL COSTS !!! There are many courier services that provide a much more reliable service and who actually respect their customers.

The Staff members are bunch of liars and garbage. They messaged me the parcel was going to be delivered, i stayed in all day, they never turned up, instead sent me a message that I was not in and would deliver it the next day which again never turned up. After making enquiries it was found out the Parcel was not located in the Depot and never been out for delivery. So how could they miss me on day one if the parcel was not out for delivery. They need sack their concerned staff at the Depot.

Worst customer service I've ever received, taken 9 days for a next day delivery... So far. One day Dpd driver actually took a picture of the wrong house 3 doors away after I waited in all Saturday and I was sent a message saying "oops we missed you" and was told that they wouldn't turn around, despite being merely 2 minutes since he got the wrong door and drove off, I was told that if I wanted my parcel that badly and I don't drive that some people get public transport by some rude woman who wasn't interested at all in helping me get my delivery. Never using again

Placed order for delivery on Friday (when i'm home) to receive a text message from O2 (on behalf of DPD) informing me that i had changed to delivery slot to Monday - news to me as i had not contacted or spoken with anyone to arrange this; (not sure why i would be home all day on Friday and then think actually i'll rearrange for a day that i'm not home?!?). DPD FALSLY CLAIMED I HAD ASKED TO REARRANGE DELIVERY WHEN THIS DID NOT OCCUR. I spoke to O2 to find out whats going on who eventually got through to DPD (32minutes on phone with O2). O2 transfer my call i say hello; the woman at the other end says hello and then cuts off the call. I spend 10-15 minutes looking for the DPD number and then a further 42 minutes in a queue on the phone to DPD to go unanswered and eventually get fed up and hang up. I spent the time wisely and emailed the head of complaints - i've heard from them but no further communication since. I've also raised my complaint with O2 as its possible they charge the company using their service for delivery twice when the consumer allegedly changes the delivery.

Ordered from Nike online Ordered from Nike online, who use DPD. Scheduled a delivery for Saturday morning. No one turned up, but I received an email telling me delivery was attempted but no one was home. This is untrue, I was working in the front garden all day. No DPD driver turned up. Checked the tracking app where the driver posts a photo to prove they came. The photo was not only not of my road, but was of a completely different kind of property (a block of flats, I live in a terraced house) Complained on their website, and was given a automated message telling me I would receive a response within 90 minutes. It’s now six hours later, and nothing. Lies and incompetence.
