ordered on sunday for next day delivery - still not here 4 working days later. Delivery guys just seem to take photo o the house and don't even bother calling if they THINK no-one is in(someone was- just that they don't have a car). Rescheduled delivery is supposed to be today , but item still not despatched and stuck in depot miles away in Smethwick.No-one picking up on customer service line either despite it being only 5.30pm. The other reviews are very worrying on here. Would be nice to speak to someone rather than just being directed to a website.

Don't Bother! I ordered a picture of my grandfather from photobox for his funeral. Leaving plenty of time and paying £7.99 for delivery my parcel was expected to be delivered last Thursday. I was text with a timeslot but I knew I wouldn't be in at that time, so, as per DPD options, I selected for it to be dropped at a local store by 12pm the following day (Friday). Planning on collecting it on Saturday morning, i had not received confirmation of its arrival so I called customer service who informed me they had been unable to leave it with the selected store (Currys) and so it was on the way back to the depot for delivery on Monday (cutting it close now as the funeral is Tuesday). By 1pm, I had heard nothing and had no update and so I called customer service again. After 40 minutes on hold, I was told that I would receive a call back from the local depot within the hour........almost 3 hours later, I had a missed call I was unable to answer due to being at work. I therefore called customer service again, and after 54 minutes on hold, got through to an advisor who escalated the situation and told me that a courier would deliver the photograph that evening, without fail. This did not happen!!!! I am now on hold once again, still without my picture and currently getting ready for a funeral. Absolutely disgraceful service, avoid at all costs!!!!

Do not send parcels to South Africa!! Any parcel with value over R500 (£30) will attract customs carges and VAT charges. We sent a parcel of baby clothes we bought for £1 each. Total value no mre than a tenner. We were told recipient had to pay R958 for customs clearance for parcel to be released plus parcel had to be collected not delivered. Storage fee would be R10 a day and R1500 fine if not collected within one week. AVOID DPD INTERNATIONAL AT ALL COSTS!!!!.

Utterly useless and most unprofessional courier you could have the misfortune of dealing with. Amazon relies on DPD for their express deliveries (meaning for those clients who paid more to get a premium service!). I've been sitting home all freaking day waiting, my item which is due for a birthday present today, has been sitting in their office since 7am, yet they are refusing to deliver it today (1 mile away from them!) despite having paid for it. They are not providing any reasons to Amazon, who keeps apologizing but does nothing to solve the problem. Sick and tired of DPD and Amazon, stay away from both or you'll end up wasting time and money!

It's been more than one week that dpd are supposed to make the delivery, everyday we call, everyday we are waiting to have the delivery, and every day no one's coming !!! It's a nightmare, I never seen a service like this in all my life !!! I don't understand how big enterprises can work with them when we see all the bad reviews on the internet about them ! Avoid them if you can !!!

I have only given this one star because there is no option to go lower than this! No one knows a great delivery better than DPD?? WHAT A JOKE!! 😂😂 my husband has waited in ALL DAY today for our sons birthday present to come, supposed to be delivered this morning! When we checked online it appears they tried to deliver and we werent in?! How strange because WE WERE!! On ringing up my husband was told the same thing and they confirmed our front door was white! Bad guess Mr Lying DPD driver, Ours is black so your assumption was wrong! We were then told they would deliver Monday as they cant do weekends, thats not convenient for us so we were then told we could drive to the depot 18 miles from our house and pick it up if we want. My husband managed to get the idiot on the phone to call the driver and get him to come back out with it this afternoon and were told after 4pm. Again chased this just after 5pm and were told it will be here after 6.30! Its now 8.20 GUESS WHAT STILL WAITING!!!! I am guessing the guitar I have ordered for my Son’s 8th birthday is not coming SO THANKS DPD! THERE IS GOING TO BE ONE VERY UPSET BOY ON SUNDAY IF I CANT MANAGE TO FIND ANOTHER ONE LOCALLY TOMORROW! HOPE YOU ARE PROUD OF YOURSELVES. WHAT A JOKE OF A COMPANY!!! DISGUSTING!

TERRIBLE SERVICE. Van pulls up my drive Thursday 10.30 the driver rummages around the van for ten minutes (I watch him stand with both feet on a box labelled fragile) then told parcel not on van and he was the one who loaded the van. Phoned office and was told the parcel would be with me that evening around six still no parcel by 10pm. phoned Friday morning to be told they cannot give a delivery time. Now 3pm I now have irate customers on the phone complaining to me that there washing machine and oven will not be repaired now until next week, that’s if DPD manage to deliver it Monday.

DPD deserve a medal for exceptional incompetence and utter stupidity They sent text messages informing me that their driver would deliver my package, stating time and day and then nothing. Contacted them delivery rearranged for next day only for the same thing happening again. This has happened for 5 consecutive days now I still have no parcel and today I was told that the driver cannot find my address. I live in London not somewhere in the middle of nowhere. And the Make It Right team are as useless as their drivers. They obviously employ a set of monkeys.

Two things: 1) One delivery driver forged a previous tenants signature. And left my parcels in the communal hallway where they could have been stolen. 2) Second delivery wasn't delivered because the driver didn't read instructions via the app as to where my flat is. Twice he ignored my instructions, and also the same instructions left by DPD customer service. I am disabled and unable to get out a lot of the time, hence why I have things delivered. What makes me laugh is that no one else has had an issue and used common sense to call me to let me know that they are here. DPD are atrocious. Avoid.

If I could give no stars would dpd are diabolical I've worked for parcel force DHL and tnt and never known a delivery company be so incompatent not only did they not collect a parcel to be returned when asked by the company that paid them to deliver it in the first place it took 2 days and then the day after collecting the parcel to be returned they then tried to deliver it back to me because as the driver said not one person could work out if it was a return even tho I had written returns on the box and they have a system that should of sorted it out if they had just used there 1 brain cell the company has and checked it we wouodnt of had a problem but nope I've now emailed the company we where returning the parcel to and told them we will not be ordering the rest of the things we where planning to next week because of dpd and the incompatents I'd rather order through companys that use royal mail or any other company that's not dpd at least they know what there doing

'Less than honest' is one way to describe the service that I was given. I was told 'as requested' that the date of the delivery had been changed. No one requested that change. This caused me enormous inconvenience. The parcel was heavy but DPD was aware of the size of the parcel well in advance. They have dealt with such deliveries before. After a lot argy bargy, when it was made clear that there was going to be no delivery on the original promised day (which had been paid for) I stayed in waiting for a text to given me a window for delivery on the revised day. No text - the phone call asking what happened, and the length of time to sort it suggested that had I not rung the parcel had been overlooked again. I believe the problem lay with one depot and not with the company as a whole.

my parcel was not delivered as the driver could not find my location. It is so strange that around 4000 other drivers can find my location every week. Then to top it off the customer service guy just lied to me saying that they had not delivered as the company sending me the goods had requested that my new phone be sent back to them EE. After a nice call to EE I find that the driver had said that there was no one to collect and had marked me as a filed delivery. I have cctv at my location so after a quick check guess what the driver had not even been to my location. do not use this company unless you don't want to have any customers EE PLEASE USE A FIRM THAT CAN FIND A ADDRESS.

Absolutely appalling. No customer service available. Only options given repeatedly is them shamelessly trying to plug their useless app. Sent a delivery hour slot and no one appeared I was then emailed saying I hadn't been in. No phone number to call either.

Absolutely shocking service, parcel was over a week late as they kept changing the address. Didn't once try and actually deliver the parcel kept changing the days. Had two parcels delivered by hermes in the same week with no struggles with the address. Not the first time Ive had issues with DPD. Basically incompetent at delivering.

And again the driver lied that someone has refused delivery. As a result I had to pay extra to someone to get me packing boxes on Saturday and pay people to help me pack, as I was supposed to have started on Wednesday and the removal van was booked for Sunday. If DPD hires drivers with low IQ who repeatedly cannot find the address in Finchley (not in Siberia), and neither customer not the company management is alerted, then it speaks for the company! AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

The worst service from any delivery company ever! The driver advised he could only deliver to the gate even though our door is about 12 steps from there. I was asked to help him carry the goods and when I explained I have problems with my back he replied he did to. Tonight our second delivery from them and they took to the wrong house. On calling I managed to agree collection at the road end and when my husband said this isn't very good the delivery should have been to my house the driver replied sorry pal Monday and drove off with our delivery! Their depot then advised that because our address was wrong they were only doing us a favour by delivering it
