Zero stars. Delivery driver did not ring doorbell, but placed a card in communal entrance stating a failed delivery. Minutes later an email from DPD stated that I was not at home ( I was) and as such, my parcel would be ready for collection the next day at a newsagents located miles from my home! I do not drive and there is no public transport to location. I contacted DPD and explained that the location is in an unsafe area, furthermore, there is no public transport, however they stated that I had no other option. Fortunately the sender has recalled the parcel and will arrange for Royal Mail to deliver. DPD are the worst delivery service.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I used DPD to return x2 toilets worth £279 & paid over £28 for delivery. When booking the delivery, I labelled the items as TOILET PANS. They were packaged in their original packaging (unopened from Victorian plumbing), with fragile tape. The boxes displayed multiple large pictures of toilets on each box, with big letters METRO PAN along with the toilet dimensions, so the contents of the boxes were VERY clear. The receiver sent me pictures of the state of both of the boxes, dirty, ripped & crushed externally, and inside, the toilets were smashed to smithereens. At least 50 pieces each. I raised a claim & was told via an automated message that there is nothing they can do as they were prohibited items. However, at no point in the buying process was I directed to prohibited items. Why accept the contract if they are prohibited?! ZERO care was taken with the parcels. Trying to get hold of DPD is nigh impossible - chat fails, automated phone number takes you to the depot and round in circles, then get through to B2B which isn't the right dept, whatsapp doesn't handle these queries, customer service is useless & won't put you through to claims, no emails work... So I've lost hundreds of pounds. Will NEVER use DPD again. JOKE of a company. AVOID.

I have ordered from companies that use DPD a number of times. I will NEVER do it again. Each time i have done this it has never gone smooth. If you are lucky they will leave it outside the main door on the block of flats, which in itself is not ideal, but today i received a message to say he tried to deliver but i was not home and he is not in area again today. I am home, the buzzer did not go, it is not hard to buzz my flat to be let in!!! Appaling service! So any companies that may visit this site, i would think very carefully about the courier service you use because you will end up losing customers. Rant over.

no card, no message , I ran and no parcel 🤬😡 I took an hour off from work to receive the parcel and the tacker showed they are 15 mins away, literally went to put mu cup in the kitchen , someone banged the front door metal postal thing and drove off , no card, no message , I ran and no parcel received. SO dear company either you fire this sort of drivers or close your business if they act like thugs, Definitely its not gonna help you in long run by upsetting massively people waiting for delivery, the driver in the app was named as Joseph (Portsmouth)could be a fake name. ID***TS

Stupid people. All of them!!!! I am actually raging! Driver Yadwinder never turned up and their customer service cannot do anything either. I paid extortionate amount for next day delivery only to not get it. I am furious and this is not the first time. Businesses needs to stop using these idiots

DPD are by far the worst delivery company I have ever had to deal with. The App is absolutely pointless as it is not updated and does not display live data, the chat facility is via a bot that cannot understand anything, you can never speak to a human. Eventually you may get through to a human if you ring, but they don’t know anything and lie about when your delivery will happen. Absolute joke of a company with very poor customer service. Avoid if you can!!

Absolutely horrendous company! Deliver £980 iPhone to lock box! Never arrived then I have tried in vain to sort this out and then I get a notification that it will be delivered Friday. Where to I have no idea! Signed by someone I have know idea who this person is and when I ring them with the drop off address they say that doesn’t match the delivery address!! Apple have been so bad as well dealing with this! Delivery supposed Tuesday to a lock box and now it’s Saturday and no information!!

Do not use DPD online. I paid for a delivery. Item was dropped off on the 08th February destination Barbados. The tracking system does not work only to confirm your parcel was picked up. my count hasn't been updated since 19th February. The lack of care for peoples property and staff are not very aware just like robots. Use DHL or FEDEX where it may be a bit more money but at least you can speak to humans and they know what they are talking about. Don't do it!!!!!!! Waste of money and time!!

Annoyed I can’t leave zero. This is a standard experience with DPD. DPD - We’ll deliver your package? Customer - When? DPD - dunno Customer - have you delivered it? DPD - No didn’t fancy it Customer - what next? DPD - come to the depot in a couple of weeks. Could be there could not be there but we’ll be rude and blame you. Customer - any more info? DPD - you need 15 pieces of ID and a witness DPD - how did you rate our service.

I had a delivery for my repaired phone coming back yesterday between 10am and 11am. My wife was home all day but they didn't deliver it!! They apparently arrived at 10.01am but my wife was home. Either they knocked on the door and walked off like they usually do. My wife probably looked through the spy hole and saw nobody there and thought it was the usual kids who just knock on the door and run off. I needed this phone yesterday as Samsung are still waiting fir the phone sent in exchange for £295. I sent an email to the CEO but have heard nothing back....surprise surprise!!! The Manager of DPD didn't call as I asked either. Just a pathetic company that doesn't care about their customers!!

If I could give No Star I would have!! Absolutely useless, one of your couriers was sopose to be delivering my parcel today, which I'd changed for today as it had to be handed or placed in my doorway, your courier didn't even drive up my drive to attempt delivery, I was here!! All I got was an email to say sorry we missed you!!! I have full cctv so no excuses from this awful courier company, If I had realised the courier was Dpd I wouldn't have placed an order with them & they have been told this!!!! AVOID THEM IF YOU WANT TO RECIEVE YOUR PARCELS!!!!

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. Do not trust this company, they go back on their words with deliveries, they ignore any instructions you make on the app and they change delivery times without warning. I've never wanted to see a company burn more to the ground than these garbage, idiotic, unreliable twats. If possible to choose another delivery company, don't hesitate. Even evri is better than them, and that says a lot.

As said by someone else they don't reserve one star. The website does not allow you to make a complaint. My parcel has been delivered somewhere else but because it has been delivered to the wrong address DPD will not let you make a complaint they just keep insisting it has been delivered. Not acceptable. I have been sat at home waiting. No one has been to my front door instead it appears that the driver has driven into the back garage area of a number of houses not bothered to come to the front of the houses and then looked for any unlocked gate and dumped my parcel there. I am disabled and it is pouring with rain and now I am expected to try any locate my now soaking wet parcel and manover it back to my home, Not acceptable not a first class service by any means.

They don't even deserve one Star!!! I ordered a pair of boots last Thursday and paid extra for next day delivery. I was advised that my parcel was being sent by DPD. I have previously had experience of them leaving a parcel at another property one quarter of a mile away, but fortunately a neighbour recognised the photo of it. My heart sank!! The next dat DPD advised me that my parcel would arrive in the afternoon, then later that it was delayed but would be there late evening. Coincidentally, my wife had a parcel on the same van and she rang the supplier who told her that the DPD van was in a village 4 miles away, just as DPD told me that the driver couldn't find our property! What a surprise, he was in the wrong village. Then I was advised that the parcel would arrive Saturday. Didn't turn up!! Advised it would come on Sunday. It didn't, but my wifes did from the same depot.....couldn't organise a pee up....etc On Monday, my parcel arrived four days late! To add insult to injury.....the boots were not a matching pair and the supplier arranged a collection by DPD. He did arrive and collected. However, the details of the parcel that he left on the card, are not being recognised by DPDs website, saying that they are incorrect!!! What a dreadful company! I am still searching for the whereabouts of my expensive boots!!

With my own experience today and then reading other reviews the question is what are DPD up to? I am as certain as can be that the delivery driver did not attempt to deliver my parcel today. The tracking suddenly stopped after delivery 26 (I was supposed to be 29). I was refreshing the tracking often waiting for it to get to 28 then I was going to go downstairs and wait outside. I even kept the windows open so I could hear extra. While that is frustrating, to say the least, and I suspect falsifying records is potentially a crime. (I'd like to see the driving records for my driver today at 9.23 am) and any Google tracking if they had it on their phone, to see if they were anywhere near my house, I suspect not. Hopefully, this was just a driver that needed to be home early and I was one of the unfortunate ones that didn't make the cut, but reading all the other reviews this looks like a company that is in trouble.
