First I would like to withdraw the one star rating. I couldn’t post this review unless I awarded a star. Do not under any circumstances use this company. I have undergone two weeks of: failed deliveries (waited in for two days); delivery to wrong address; item returned to sender and lost in system; and outright blank refusal to attempt to retrieve my item and have it delivered back to me. Just had a surreal conversation with the DPD depot. I was told that finding my item and resolving the situation - a situation that they are responsible for - was ‘not something we do as a company’. What are they for exactly? I’ve managed to contact the company my item is from via their international call centre. They said they will find my item and send it again. I requested they send it by Parcel Force not DPD but they said ‘it was out of their hands’. Sadly it won’t be in mine any time soon.

Hi if anyone can seriously take action of DPD DRIVERS THIS TIME SO long story short the driver WE'VE MISSED YOU Your driver Elenko won't be able to come back today as they cover a wide area on a tight schedule, but we'll be back with your parcel So the picture he uploaded as a proof was the picture of the outside building far in his Van So no one even asks these drivers if there is door number mentioned where is the picture outside the door ? Even last few deliveries the driver literally done the same but we tracked him and shouted him to come back and he threw the heavy parcel outside far one main door building gate We even contacted DPD IMMEDIATELY THAT send driver back we home and he never came and the picture is not our house lady said sure he is coming back and no one ever came Is there anyone who can take responsibility and correct what’s happening please Delivery date is 20th October 2022 please resolve and I even complaint NIKE AS THAT SHOE WAS FOR MY TODDLER NIKE ONE AND ITS not cheap shoe that DPD can try to lose it please Thanks

After my (still ongoing) problems with sending items internationally using DPD I will no longer be using their service. After sending a small box to Brussels from the UK on the 22nd August 2022 I am still waiting for it to either be delivered or returned to me. It is currently the 20th October 2022. This is, I believe, through no fault of my own. I filled out all the customs documents correctly, attached them to the package as requested, but still there have been problems. This is, I believe, due to DPD subcontracting out their service to other providers, namely Parcel2Go and UPS. Over the course of the first month I was tracking the parcel and attempting to contact DPD. As there is no contact details for the company I was unable to do anything other than wait. The tracking said that the package was in a warehouse in Brussels during this time. After a month I then opened a claim with DPD to work out what happened to my package. This was answered after a week with an email requesting customs documents. I replied immediately and have not heard since. During this time I have also managed to contact DPD customs via the website portal, found after souring their site in order to speak to a human being rather than a bot. After speaking with them and providing the tracking details I was given a number to call, and told that I had been emailed several times by the company telling me to contact this number. I had never received any email from them, and when I asked to see a screenshot or evidence of these emails I was told that I could not. This is, I believe, due to them subcontracting out the delivery. After phoning the number (linked to the Brussels warehouse) I was told (on the 26th September 2022) that it was being delivered via UPS and that there had been a return to sender request. Neither I or the person I was sending the package to had requested this, but nonetheless this was a better outcome than it being stuck in purgatory for months. It has now been almost two months since sending the package and it still hasn’t been returned to me. Tracking on the UPS site states that “The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible.” And that it’s “On the Way” but I highly doubt that. At this point I just want my package back and to never use DPD for international delivery ever again.

Ordered a parcel from Nike, got delivered on Sunday by dpd, parcel had been opened and re sealed by you and I have a photo and my item was completely missing, you had stolen my Nike jumper, I phoned and spoke to a lady on the number to complain and she wasn’t a bit interested said I had to take it up with Nike even though I explained it had been re sealed by dpd , and been opened as the tape around it was DPD white and red tape. Wish I could score you zero as this happened to me with before with my iPhone, you delivered it to me and it had been switched with a box of hair dye!!! Absolute shambles of a company, thieving scumbags you have working there . I’m now waiting for another two parcels, and I’m dreading to think what will I receive?? And if I will even receive them.

Am sat in the house waiting for a new phone from http://o2.co.uk and the first I know that they have "attempted" to deliver the parcel is when I get a text saying we tried to deliver. A note was also left in the door. Why would a driver not bring the parcel from the van to the back door and waste his own time taking a photo of my back door and leaving a delivery attempted note? Why not ring the door bell, or knock on the door. Am afraid such actions are disgraceful, and just make me want to never do any business with DPD again. O2 will suffer now as I will return this phone. They pay for the service DPD offer and until they realise they are going to lose sales because of the behaviour of the delivery team, then they will just keep ignoring customers concerns. Get ready to take back the parcel.

Is DPD a scam?? I booked and paid for 'next day delivery drop to door'. Apparently this takes 1-2 days...I dropped my envelop at 1:30ishpm on 10/10 - it had to arrive on or before 13/10. At 5pm checked the tracking. "your parcel will be delivered no later than 14/10" I went to DPD online chat and their solution was for me to upgrade my delivery, I felt I had no choice. Another £6.99 and I chose it to be delivered 12/10 12-6pm. Long sad story shortened: the envelop was never delivered, it was relabelled on 13/10 and made a next day delivery back to me!!! No reason was given. Absolutely ridiculous. No customer service detailed on the website. This aborted delivery has cost me £1000 due to the envelop not arriving.

The delivery came, I have a ring door bell & gates before you reach my front door. It wasn't until I heard my gate slam shut that I knew someone had just left so I opened the window & asked him to hold on for me to get the door. After receiving the parcel I saw the note saying "we missed you" & an email saying the same thing. Meaning he didn't even attempt to deliver my parcel before putting a note through the door & sending an email to tell me I missed them. Kind regards Quinton Hillocks

DPD supposed to be the best in this but it shows that there workers will only pick and choose what they want to deliver and what they don’t want to deliver. Had an upgraded delivery for Saturday morning and yet DPD driver arrived to collect my parcel and yet no delivery of other, I asked him he told me that the system would not allow him to scan that parcel, and also stating that the person who was on yesterday never wanted to deliver the parcel. What kind of nonsense is this

Delivery driver stole my phone then signed for it himself. Got a notification of delivery at midnight saying delivered at 16.00?! Customer services about as useful as a chocolate teapot!

DPD lost my package, ignored emails, took 2 months to get repaid for service not provided and I was left significantly out of pocket for replacing the product that they lost. Terrible, terrible service and I hope never to have to deal with them again.

I didnt even want to give them 1 star, they have held my parcel for 12 days, they have delayed it twice due to unexpected delays! Even after paying 4:99 for them to deliver on a saturday DPD are the worse courier service!

I sold some vintage speakers on ebay and used DPD as the courier. We bought 2 sturdy plastic boxes and carefully wrapped them with a load of newspaper and bubble wrap and put loads of HANDLE WITH CARE / FRAGILE tape as well as parcel tape all over them.. There were 2 boxes, the bloke who picked them up couldn't even wait 5 seconds for me to open the door. When I did, he picked up the boxes without even making sure they were stacked properly and ran off down the drive with the top one wobbling. At the bottom of the drive I heard a loud noise as he had carelessly thrown them on the pavement, before carelessly throwing them into his van. I wanted to shout 'Be careful' but didn't get chance. Today, the buyer has received the boxes and both of them are smashed to smitherines. The plastic boxes are smashed up and the speakers damaged. Both boxes have clearly been dropped from a height and transported with no care whatsoever. Making a complaint is not easy either. Their website first rubs your face in it with the blatant lie that they do their utmost to take care of your parcels and then offers various ways of getting in touch that don't work. I ended up calling which was saying I would be put through to my local depot but it sounded more like an indian call centre who are apparently emailing a link to another call centre?? It boggles the mind how they can treat packages so badly, surely on day 1 they are taught the importance of handling with care! Apparently not. Needless to say I won't be sending anything else with them.

Worst delivery service I have ever Delt with .waited in from Monday to 10.46 pm to get a message saying there has been a delay .did this again Tuesday Wednesday till 10.46 pm and still no sign ,then eventually arrives at 6.30 on Thursday .made up alsorts of excuses on customer service. ,I caught them out on there lies ,il never ever use DPD again .big 0/10 from me 👎🏻

will never use this again in the future. The delivery driver lied and said that he attempted a delivery which was not attempted and then after that delivered my item to a shop away from my home which was never agree to. When I called to make a complaint I was told that they do not have a complete line which is absolutely ridiculous considering that they are holding personal items of people. I was in my home all day waiting for a delivery that I had ordered for a home delivery and then I received a message to say that my delivery was not delivered because nobody was home although I’ve been home the whole time and my door did not ring at any point. when I then explain this to customer service they told me that the driver was in fact in the area however when I ask for proof that he was at my door they could not provide me with this. The driver also failed to leave a missed parcel card as proof that he attempted delivery which also tells me everything I need to know about this company. If you value items and want to receive them at the time you were supposed to receive them I would highly suggest using another company Date of experience: 12 October 2022

Useless company!!! I took day off to receive important parcel by DPD… Received message saying Sorry we missed you with photo of plain black background… Just to say we have CCTV all the way around the house and no DPD driver turns up… Been told after waiting 30 minutes on the phone that the van broken down but they have no clue why I received message that they missed me … Never use DPD again

DO NOT USE Customer Service is an absolute joke. Ordered a part on 4th October from a company who dropped it off at one of their pick up points, DPD collected it on the 4th and then booked it back into the pick up point on the 6th since then I have made numerous phone calls and been lied to repeatedly, promised dates for collection , promised callbacks which never came 7 days after they initially took parcel they consign it to history as it makes their figures bad. 8 days later they cannot find parcel Absolutely shambolic Service DO NOT USE
