Absolutely atrocious customer service. Had to call them to deal with repeated failed deliveries to an elderly customer who cannot leave her house. DPD driver consistently marks the parcel as delivered only to leave it at a pickup point regardless of delivery instructions stating not to. Called customer service to try and find a solution for the issue only to have the advisor raising her voice and interrupting me on the phone. Would give them 0 stars if possible

Absolute joke of a company, can’t deliver on time, and when you question it they say they’ll call back within 20 minutes and then don’t call, driver was off roaming around somewhere 2 miles away but was having “technical issues with his gps”

After reading through all the complaints in the past few weeks, there seems to be a colossal flaw with dpd, their customer service and their system. Like many others, I have been expecting a parcel which needs a pin for security for the past week. I've worked from home on all days when it was supposed to be delivered and each time there has been a 'sorry we missed you' message. No buzz on the doorbell. No ring on the phone. Just the same driver (Dario), playing the same tricks over and over again. When contacting dpd, you're put through to a chatbot which consistently repeats itself until you're put through to an adviser who is equally unhelpful, and if you need to switch apps while on your phone to get things like the order number, the chat disconnects. When talking to someone on the phone, they are argumentative, non-cooperative and insist the driver is in the right, rather than listen to your side of the story - maybe they should have a browse through all these reviews and see if that changes their mind. Why the driver would take photos of a block of flats to 'prove' he was there without attempting to deliver it is beyond me, but clearly there is a benefit/loophole for him to do this, like so many others. Really this is all just a sorry representation of how poor the UK customer service has become and how helpless they make their customers feel. Of course there will be no repercussions because yodel and others are all just as bad. I guess the only thing you can do is contact the supplier directly and report the item stolen

Driver never even bothered to contact me, or simply knock, he was outside of the house and we don’t have a doorbell in there! I was home all the time and from the middle of nowhere received email “Sorry we missed you”. I’m so angry, cause it’s look like that DPD doesn’t care about those customers and the fact of delivering those parcels. Literally ruined my day….

Am in a wheelchair and need extra time to get to the door. It took me 2 minutes to get in my chair and to the door. Driver had gone. Left my parcel where I cannot get it. And spelt my name wrong when they said it had been signed for. Contacted them to complain, no complaints department and nothing actually done about it. (Blanked out my address before posting picture)

Your driver was supposed to be delivering to me this afternoon. I waited in for them, they needed a pin number to be able to give the parcel to me. I suddenly got a picture of a hedge and "sorry our driver was unable to deliver". I went outside to see a white van pulling out of a housing estate over from the main road which I live on. I waved him down and eventually got him to stop. Of course he couldn't deliver because he was taking pictures a quarter of a mile away. Anyway he backed up to my house and got my parcel from the back of hospital van. Started to open it for the return slip asked for the pin, of course because he's failed to deliver the pin disappeares from the phone screen so he can't now give it to me, it's actually an internet hub for my computer, so he's buggered off promising he'll be back before 17.00 so I'll be waiting again. So I have no computer,no burglar alarm and no patience left with DPD. I have previously had to load my car up with a parcel and go to their Nottingham branch and deliver it to them after trying for almost 3 months waiting for them to pick it up. I know they are all a bit poor but DPD Nottingham are the pits. Bob Stephenson

Driver did not even attempt to use the intercom or call. Just pulled up, took a photo, and left. Customer service is atrocious and will not help. Woman on the phone was rude and dismissive.

I had a card through the letterbox to say that my parcel had been left with Jones at number 31. I live at 33 Clarence Street Hyde. However my neighbour at 31 was at work and is not called Jones. I wondered what had happened to my parcel but it came the next day.

The driver was already there but didn't deliver the parcel because the address was "incomplete" . All that was missing was a Y in Way, part of the address. NO Star would be the correct mark

Disgraceful company. When the driver does eventually decide to turn up they are totally incapable of following the basic delivery instructions that were submitted at the request of DPD. Should be sued for false representation because a ‘delivery’ company they most certainly are not. Avoid this shambolic outfit like the plague.

Horrible! The driver has stolen my parcel and has then said they've dropped it off at a pick up shop who's confirmed they don't have the parcel. I rang dpd to complain who said they don't have a complaints department and it's internal. Requested manager call who called and disconnected the call when I answered without speaking! Avoid!!

Dishonest & lazy drivers, opaque and ineffective complaints process. Drivers not bothering to get out of their vans to even attempt delivery, because I'm on top floor of a block of flats. Instead send a photos of a random nail bar not located within 2 miles of my address as "proof" they tried to deliver. Cannot speak to a human when you call, get useless bots instead. Finally managed to get a human on instant message who was almost as useless as the bot. How about actually talking to someone on the phone. I wouldn't trust these people to deliver a takeaway menu let alone a parcel

BEWARE of this company! They lie, they steal and then delete photos once proven that no driver rang the doorbell. Pathetic. How is this company still trading? Just look at the terrible reviews!

Worst customer service!driver has delivered my parcel to a local shop when there were clear instructions on DPD of a keybox on the wall to take key and place parcel in porch. He couldnt be bothered reading this on his PDA as seen on my CCTV. Rang customer services who first cut me off then told me had no choice but to collect.Dont waste your time!

I had to give them one star to be able to post a review! Otherwise it would be ZERO. They are muppets who couldn't deliver my parcel because the driver couldn't locate it on his van!!! The item is a paddleboard. I'm so angry

After taking a day off work to stay at home and wait for a delivery, the driver arrived..sat in the van without getting out and then marked as failed with no answer. The customer service team was useless online, on the phone and using the WhatsApp number. Finally got it so it was guaranteed for next day before 12 and at 12.20 I'm still waiting on the driver to arrive and now going to be late for work!. No compensation offered and simply as a company they don't care. This isn't the first time we've had problems. A few months ago a driver took it apon himself to walk in to my home without even knocking!! Then got aggressive when confronted The next time.i place an order with a company I will be checking there delivery user and if it is DPD I will.not.be buying

My parcel delivery was at 14.50 to 15.50 today. I went to pick my daughter from school. Received a mail saying parcel delivered at my front porch with a pic. In reality there was not even delivery attempted as my cctv showed the proof. I lodged a complaint. Later they removed the pic. Thieves beware!!!

Atrocious service. Failed to collect my parcel, refused to re-arrange and refused to refund. Outsourced support in India... you can guess how helpful they were. AVOID.
