Avoid ! In 2020 if you do not have a good service client, you should not have a company!

Avoid at all costs. We are waiting for a parcel to be collected for delivery to the UK. It was due to be collected on 10th December and it is now the 17th December. We have had no explanation or contact from DPD. This is a delivery company that does not know how to deliver. Avoid at all costs.

Absolutely Awful. Especially for Glasgow/Paisley area, if you have a parcel that is slightly heavy and the driver is JORDAN, it will not be delivered. Every time we see him passing by, checking if the parcel is big, and if it is he sends a text that they could not find us in to sign, so another driver will bring it the next day. As a business owner who is waiting for stock especially during Christmas, I have now urged ALL our supplier to drop them as a customers and never send us anything with DPD again. P.S. On the phone, they pretend not to hear you and they just hang up as if "the line dropped because it was back"... When you call again, they just get you through an endless loop.

I paid DPD to courier a parcel overseas. It was never delivered, although the tracking said that it had. DPD then tried to track the parcel, couldn't and closed my case. They re-opened it when I logged a complaint, and they agreed to refund me the courier cost and insurance, but instead gave me credit. As I have no intention of using their service again, I suppose that I have lost this money. Don't lose yours, rather choose a another courier.

I found the DPD driver reversing partly across my garden (turned my garden to a muddy mess) so I asked him to turn around. After a grumpy strop he did turn the van around then zoomed of at an outrageous speed. I continued to my post box at the end of my drive only to find the driver had tried to break it!! Repairs to restore my post box were £40. Sent the bill to DPD with drivers details and they will not reply to my emails!! These people are gangsters, suggest you avoid them, I am.

Useless. They tried to deliver I wasn’t in but marked it as recieved. When I called up they said that the driver had marked that incorrectly and that he was still available to redeliver that day. Then he didn’t bother to and then the next day he has sent it back to the company. Useless. Thanks Jamil.

We are now on our 3 rd separate delivery using DPD and despite my husband explicitly saying the road to our property was closed but you can get access, we have had failed deliveries.. other delivery companies have managed to get through without an issue. It feels like the drivers are under so much pressure that they don’t have the time to explore options. Very disappointed on 3 separate occasions ...

I will never use this company again after my experience! I dropped 2 parcels off at Doddle in Morrisons a week ago, hoping they would arrive in 2 days. I could not seem to track them beyond drop off, and several days later they still had not arrived. Finally, I went back to the drop off at Morrisons and they found my parcels, which had not been collected at all. For one whole week they had been sitting awaiting collection in a store room, and yet, when a shop manager rang dpd, they had the parcels logged in their system for collection ! I am disgusted. One parcel contained fresh food and baking which would survive a couple of days, but might well be inedible after 10 days! I think I should be refunded/ compensated for this very poor service! Shame on you!

HORRIBLE SERVICE. The drivers simply couldn't care less. They kept on driving past our address and saying that no one answers the door.

My son sent me a parcel on Monday 7th December and paid for a next day delivery He rang us on Wednesday to check it had arrived, it had not. He then contacted dpd and I supplied a photo of my house and detailed instructions. We pointed out that we live on the main A379 road, but the next day my son was sent a message by dpd saying they could not find us. They sent through a photo of a narrow lane nearby. By Friday we had given dpd our phone number and asked them too ring if there was a problem in finding us. Again we waited in. My son was allotted a time which came and went, another photo had been sent by the driver ( a little closer but of a cul de sac rather than an A road). My son rang the 0121 number. He was told that they would contact the Exeter depot (on a number that is not available to the ordinary punter who is paying) Firstly, he was told that the depot would resend the delivery that evening, then a little later that dpd would have to make a new delivery time for Monday. Bearing in mind that it is now 7 days since the parcel had been collected, on Monday, we again waited in. No notification of a time was given, but when I logged onto the tracking it said it was being delivered today. By 6pm it had still not arrived. Imagine the shock when my son was then told that the parcel could not be delivered because it had been badly damaged! Not only that, because he had used a price comparison website, rather than going through dpd direct, he was not eligible for compensation?? Somewhere in the organisation there are people making a lot of money on the backs of lowly paid front line staff that have little incentive to spend much time making sure their customers are having the same service they might have had through a more responsible provider. I know it's Christmas, but looking at the other feedback about dpd, there is definitely something wrong when there are so many reports of bad service. Neither my son, or I will use the services of dpd again unless they can up their game. This time they have been a dead loss!

Worst company ever and non existent tracking. If you track an order it only tells you the day it was supposed to be picked up and dropped off. If that passes and you go to track it it does not tell you it was not collected. Their customer support Liz said if the drivers decide to not collect it, it does not show up on the drivers list for the next day so it just sits waiting and no one is coming to collect it because they are not allowed pick up items which are not on their list but you have no idea if the item is collected or not so you end up tracking it through your own contacts for DPD and when you go to their help support you have to tell them where your stuff is its nuts.
