Could give minus stars if poss. I have never been so disgusted at how any company could be so blatantly bad at what they profess to do and are still in business. I paid for a next day service + insurance which was delivered 5 days later. Customer services, don't make me laugh! 1 and a half hours on the chat line to a lady called Anis and then Adelle. Complete waste of time. Don't go near them

My parcel was held at Middleton dpd depot from 29/11/20 Today my tracking ref no showed that my parcel has been delivered to J D Returns and signed for . This is not my name and address After several t/calls dpd will not go and retrieve my parcel from the wrong address that they have delivered to leaving me annoyed and out of pocket by £42 and someone else having my new boots,I will never use this service

My delivery was scheduled between 11.47 - 12.47, hadn't arrived by 13.00 so I logged on to track and it said delivery re-arranged at my request?? Rang DPD who said the driver couldn't find my house?? I live on a road with at least 70 houses and I must see DPD on this road at least three times a week, how couldn't he find it???. I asked to speak to a manager and after being put on hold for ages I was told a manager would call me back within 24-48 hours, absolutely appalling customer service.

Complete rubbish. My parcel was picked up in Spain last Monday 30 November. The system forced an incorrect postcode. We have contacted them five or six times and we get a different story every time. One minute the address is wring, then they have tried to deliver it but no one is in, then it has not left Spain yet. Completely useless.

Dropped off parcel for collection at the suggested Argos pickup point. Was given a DPD receipt with a printed tracking number. No update emails have been received by either myself or the receiver. I paid for next day delivery. That was a week ago. When entering the DPD tracking number into their website, it doesn't recognise it, even though it is on a printed DPD receipt. The money was debited from my bank account. The parcel has gone, as well as my payment. What a shambolic company. Do not use.

DPD is the most useless courier service in the world. I am home and just got a message they tried to deliver to me but I wasn't home. No one came here. Last week they couldn't find my address. What kind of a useless company is this..

This month alone I have had two deliveries arrive broken, a table top of literal solid pine wood, ironically with tape all over it saying 'repackaged by DPD with care!', and a pack of hair dye that was split at the bottom and had leaked everywhere. On a third occasion, my parcel, a six foot clothing rail(!), went missing entirely. I found this out from the seller nearly a week after delivery was due, as DPD could not be bothered to inform me themselves. Something is clearly very wrong with this organisation for these kind of mistakes to be possible and with such a frequency.

I had to give one star to open up the review form but they don't even deserve that. Had message from DPD to say they were unable to deliver due to "lack of complete address". However, I heard a noise at front door from upstairs and saw DPD van outside in road so, although doorbell had not been rung, not door knocker knocked, I went down and opened door, only to see the van start to pull out into road. I tried to attract driver's attention but he just drove off. However, I assume the address was correct enough! The message that DPD sent me had a link to uodat delivery address - this did not work! I googled how to contact DPD and tried their online chat app, having put in the reference number that was in their message to me - got message to say the number was not recognised! I tried the email form - got bounceback to say the email is not recognised! Apparently you can call them but wait times are excessive and you are charged for the privilege! To make matters worse the parcel has not even been taken to my local DPD place but, miles away over in NW1. Absolute disgrace!!! Why on earth do people use DPD. I will not order anything in future from anyone who uses DPD.

Had to sent my computer workstation abroad to the place where I was relocating. I did add an insurance to it for an extra safety. The computer was wrapped very good, I used its original box and package. However, week later I received my parcel in a very bad condition! I have no idea what they have been doing with it but when I opened the box, the computer case was broken! All of the HDDs were out of slots, the glass panel was cracked, the front panel was pulled out and damaged … I took pictures, raised it with DPD asking for explanation and some compensation (especially after the parcel was extra insured) AND then it started ... I was asked for series of documents and proofs, I submit all of those BUT they did not accept the official invoice (the official summary of the order and payment) I paid for the computer as a valid proof. They wanted me to send a bank transaction(s)! Something that I couldn't provide and honestly found a bit odd. After several attempts, they closed my case and I ended up with paying for sending the parcel, extra insurance, damaged goods, repairment costs and a very bad experience. Regret I decided to send it via DPD!

I had the worst experience. I order something from some website and the 1st time they were supposed to deliver I got an email that they were unable to deliver my package (I was home all day) and that the package was in pickup store, it wasn't there. Website sent me the same package and again same problem with DPD. 3rd time website sent me the package, DPD left it in some random Turkish kiosk in my street, which is not DPD pickup store, without email or anything, I found out through their tracking page two days later.

Put a parcel at a drop off shop , two days later and it was still there. I called dpd and was told the problem would be relayed to the correct department's so it could be discussed. An answer would be given in three days. As for delivering the parcel ,no answer could be given. Totally inept, pathetic and useless. I went to the drop off shop ,picked up my parcel and sent it overnight with Royal Mail. Never ,never use dpd again . Glad I got my parcel back , at least its moving now. As for a refund, all you hit is brick walls. So now to ring my credit card company to pull back the money. I really hope dpd is not going to deliver the vaccine for covid19 . Never use dpd again.

Despite paying £46.19 for the collection and despatch of a high value item and ensuring that item was securely packed, upon arrival item was found to be damaged. Unfortunately the consignee did not immediately inform me of this ( I was made aware over 2 weeks after receipt of the parcel) As a result DPD have refused to consider my claim for compensation. I will never use DPD again and will make sure that I warn everyone I know to avoid this Company, which charges a premium rate but providea a very poor service.

Was waiting for my parcel to be delivered this morning. Delivery driver never attempted to deliver the item. Didn't even ring my door bell. Will cost £6 if I ring to complain. Wouldn't touch then with a barge pole

Do not use this awful company. The parcel I sent was not delivered, they say it has come open but I know how well I packaged it. I now do not know where it is, and impossible to speak to a human being. Hours spent trying to sort it, large sum of money wasted and very upset that my friends did not receive the beautiful gift I had made for them

Terrible service and absolutely zero help from customer service. I was waiting for this delivery all day, I stayed at home and constantly checked the map. When I saw that my delivery is coming next, my boyfriend went outside to help the driver to find the property. My boyfriend saw the delivery driver who parked about 100 m away from the property. He tried to reach the driver, however the driver wasn't planning to deliver the parcel, he left his car for about a second, he looked right and left and then sat back to his car and left. He hasn't even tried to deliver the parcel. I'm absolutely shocked about DPD service. I would never deal with this organisation as they are not trying to deliver good customer service and I don't think they even care. This situation has happened to us twice and that's the reason why my boyfriend left the house in advance to help the driver. Awful. I wouldn't recommend this delivery service to anyone.

my delivery date was 29th Nov, as of today 1st Dec still no delivery. Even with delivery instructions and my phone number still no delivery, Dpd CEO escalations team have tried but even they are unable to get the Swansea depot to deliver to me. This delivery was a surprise bouquet of flowers for my Birthday, they are roses which are probably dead by now. If you wish to have flowers delivered dont use Dpd, they arent good at delivering, but really good at spoiling a Birthday.
