Delivered parcel to wrong address, I had taken an afternoon off work to collect the parcel as there is no weekend delivery service, then I cannot contact anyone! So frustrating 😖

Opened the door when the doorbell rang and found the driver walking away. He turned when I called but refused to give me the parcel as "I'd missed delivery". He said he only gave a minute for me to answer but it was less than that. He actually spent more than 5 minutes arguing with me. Very rude and unhelpful and, when I complained by phone, twitter and live chat, I got no help at all. Don't use these people.

I've given one star but only because Trust Pilot have yet to introduce an "Wouldn't touch with an electrified barge-pole" rating yet. I have video evidence of a DPD driver walking off with my mobile phone package on the 13th October after having previously taken a photo of it sticking out of my letterbox as proof of postage, but then taken it back out again. He then changed the proof of delivery to handed to customer. Once again I have video proof of this not happening nor have they come up with a photo or signature of this happening. I've told them, but to date not heard a word, yet I'm still paying IDMobile for the privilege of using a phone someone at DPD has stolen! ID Mobile know but have done nothing either.

Absolute abysmal service, had a text saying that the package wasn’t delivered due to no one being in, that was the first lie. The second one occurred when I was informed the following day that the parcel was delivered with a random picture of someone else’s front door and a parcel that was clearly too small to be the item I purchased. When I rang customer services and queried it and to track the whereabouts of the van that afternoon to ascertain where my parcel was I was assured that someone would ring me back that afternoon, that was the third lie. I rang back the next day…. again and was informed that the parcel was back at the local delivery depot, (which incidentally is only 4 miles from the delivery address), and would be delivered by close of play on the following day, that was lie number four. I’ve since then not been able to contact customer services as they’ve logged my mobile number and now put me through to an automated service which tells me to use their website before ending the call. When I’ve tried contacting them from another phone and enter the parcel number I get put through to the same recorded message. Do not entrust DPD with your deliveries or collections, clearly they are not focused on customer services and don’t care whether your items get delivered or not

It went wrong four times. My first parcel from FFX tools was damaged by DPD a replacement was sent. DPD misplaced the parcel the driver tried to give me someone else's parcel. He left but he marked the delivery as me not in. I called the number off the app the lady told me she had spoken to the drive he was on his way back. An hour later he came back took a picture of my front door and marked me as not in again. This resulted in the parcel going back to FFX. FFX were brilliant and sent another tool straight away. DPD gave a slot 7am -10pm. Waited in for the parcel at 9pm the app updated status that the parcel had been delivered and the old unit collected. Absolute shambles I am now getting a refund from FFX who have done nothing wrong in this nd will purchase else where with someone that doesn't use DPD

Useless! Put 2 'we tried to deliver your parcel' cards through door. Tracked them but they had been marked 'return to consignor requested' Not by me they hadn't! Then I was unable to click the redeliver button. Can't even store a 'safe place'. Why do companies use these idiots.

Got a text for a dpd driver to collect my parcel on Friday, it read, ‘ your Swindow driver will collect between 11-12 Driver arrived at 11:58, which was sent on behalf of there bridgwater depot which didn’t have a collection label printed, said he forgot to print it, but took the parcel. Then days later my parcel gets lost in the system and dpd starts sending other drivers to my house saying sorry we couldn’t collect your parcel on Friday we will collect on Monday! I phoned up dpd Birmingham customer services 5 times, 3 times cut off, they will investigate, promises to phone back but nothing! Went down to dpd Bridgwater and explain the situation and spoke to Kayleigh and she said we didn’t send a driver on the Friday so you must of been scammed, you need to report it to the police! Off I went and thought but how would they know the collection details, the driver had a dpd collection pad and uniform? So I went back down showed her the emails and etc and she sent out her manager. She did some digging and promised to phone me back Zhanet and email me back but nothing no phone call or email and wouldn’t even answer my calls or email! Enough was enough I emailed there director of dpd to get a lady email back called Becky who deals with the directors emails, she did some digging and talked to various managers in depots and miraculously another manager from Bridgwater Leah phoned me like I’ve won a consolation prize yesterday your parcel has now been found after 5 days in another depot in the lost section! I said due to the fault of the collection driver who didn’t put the collection ticket on when he should, she went silent I said and who’s covering my out of pocket expenses and loss of earnings? No reply and the directors secretary says they don’t cover this so I will get my route of action to cover this! DPD YOU ARE A SHAMBLES OF A COMPANY!

I am extremely disappointed with the DPD delivery service. I ordered a pixel 7 along with earbuds from Google store which was delivered by DPD. The delivery man named "Shahin" didnt even came to my flat. I was waiting outside the flat tracking the parcel jn the DPD app. Suddenly I got a message saying the driver came to the doorstep but couldn't find anyone so he is delivering that to local store "Leons pricewise". The next day I collected it from the store in which my expensive phone was missing. Only the earbuds which came free with the phone were only there in the parcel. The parcel was opened from one side. It costs me 599 pounds , all of my savings. I contacted DPD several times but they cant do anything from their side. I contacted Google store, they did investigation from their side and reported it was not missed from their side. I am depressed about this stolen parcel I got from DPD. U people tell me whom I need to contact further. How can I order something online??????..

I recently acquire a console on an online shop who sent it to me with DPD. I added an instruction saying that if I was not home they should deliver the item to the collection point. The driver went directly to the collection point, but for some reason I am not aware about he did not leave it there. I call the customer service and the woman at the phone call me ignorant and she tried to shift the blame to me when it was the driver fault for not trying my house first. I also have a screenshot of their website that clearly states the driver steps and the first is to come to my house which he skipped. I tried to send an email of complaint attaching the screenshot but I got no reply. I also paid ÂŁ10 extra for the next day delivery option for nothing since I the driver did not come to my house and they redelivered the day after instead of leaving it in the pickup point as requested as my second option. Apparently drivers are not capable of following simple instructions, the phone customer service are rude that try to blame to the customer instead of the driver and at the phone they call the customer IGNORANT, and non-existing customer service via email. The picture attached shows which steps the driver should have followed

Terrible customer service, delivery didn’t turn up and when speaking to a chat assistant about it they pretty much shot me down and told me nothing could be done, not even a refund.

First I would like to withdraw the one star rating. I couldn’t post this review unless I awarded a star. Do not under any circumstances use this company. I have undergone two weeks of: failed deliveries (waited in for two days); delivery to wrong address; item returned to sender and lost in system; and outright blank refusal to attempt to retrieve my item and have it delivered back to me. Just had a surreal conversation with the DPD depot. I was told that finding my item and resolving the situation - a situation that they are responsible for - was ‘not something we do as a company’. What are they for exactly? I’ve managed to contact the company my item is from via their international call centre. They said they will find my item and send it again. I requested they send it by Parcel Force not DPD but they said ‘it was out of their hands’. Sadly it won’t be in mine any time soon.

After my (still ongoing) problems with sending items internationally using DPD I will no longer be using their service. After sending a small box to Brussels from the UK on the 22nd August 2022 I am still waiting for it to either be delivered or returned to me. It is currently the 20th October 2022. This is, I believe, through no fault of my own. I filled out all the customs documents correctly, attached them to the package as requested, but still there have been problems. This is, I believe, due to DPD subcontracting out their service to other providers, namely Parcel2Go and UPS. Over the course of the first month I was tracking the parcel and attempting to contact DPD. As there is no contact details for the company I was unable to do anything other than wait. The tracking said that the package was in a warehouse in Brussels during this time. After a month I then opened a claim with DPD to work out what happened to my package. This was answered after a week with an email requesting customs documents. I replied immediately and have not heard since. During this time I have also managed to contact DPD customs via the website portal, found after souring their site in order to speak to a human being rather than a bot. After speaking with them and providing the tracking details I was given a number to call, and told that I had been emailed several times by the company telling me to contact this number. I had never received any email from them, and when I asked to see a screenshot or evidence of these emails I was told that I could not. This is, I believe, due to them subcontracting out the delivery. After phoning the number (linked to the Brussels warehouse) I was told (on the 26th September 2022) that it was being delivered via UPS and that there had been a return to sender request. Neither I or the person I was sending the package to had requested this, but nonetheless this was a better outcome than it being stuck in purgatory for months. It has now been almost two months since sending the package and it still hasn’t been returned to me. Tracking on the UPS site states that “The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible.” And that it’s “On the Way” but I highly doubt that. At this point I just want my package back and to never use DPD for international delivery ever again.

Ordered a parcel from Nike, got delivered on Sunday by dpd, parcel had been opened and re sealed by you and I have a photo and my item was completely missing, you had stolen my Nike jumper, I phoned and spoke to a lady on the number to complain and she wasn’t a bit interested said I had to take it up with Nike even though I explained it had been re sealed by dpd , and been opened as the tape around it was DPD white and red tape. Wish I could score you zero as this happened to me with before with my iPhone, you delivered it to me and it had been switched with a box of hair dye!!! Absolute shambles of a company, thieving scumbags you have working there . I’m now waiting for another two parcels, and I’m dreading to think what will I receive?? And if I will even receive them.

Am sat in the house waiting for a new phone from http://o2.co.uk and the first I know that they have "attempted" to deliver the parcel is when I get a text saying we tried to deliver. A note was also left in the door. Why would a driver not bring the parcel from the van to the back door and waste his own time taking a photo of my back door and leaving a delivery attempted note? Why not ring the door bell, or knock on the door. Am afraid such actions are disgraceful, and just make me want to never do any business with DPD again. O2 will suffer now as I will return this phone. They pay for the service DPD offer and until they realise they are going to lose sales because of the behaviour of the delivery team, then they will just keep ignoring customers concerns. Get ready to take back the parcel.
