Parcel was meant to be delivered Wed, out for Delivery then heard nothing all day. So rang them, the pick up shop was closed, so they tried again Thursday. No communication I rang, and the same excuse was given.. Surprise surprise, the exact same thing happened Friday. So I went to the pickup shop this morning and they told me they let DPD know their scanner wasn't working so they are rejecting parcels.. I rang DPD this morning, they said "we will call you back with an update at 11am to arrange collection between 1pm and 2pm" So I went for a run, came back no messages or missed calls, 11:20 they rang to say they tried my house to deliver but I was out.. Still waiting on a further update.. Avoid DPD like the plague.

They sent a photo of the parcel inside the van rather than in front of my building. I missed them the next day because I wasn't even told the delivery time until that same morning. Instead of being sent to the depot like I was told it would be, it was returned to the sender. I tried to contact customer services through the web chat, and they gave me about ten seconds to try to tell them what had happened before they decided I wasn't responding and ended the chat. I tried to call their number, but the answering machine told me I could no longer contact them about this parcel. I currently have no idea what to do, they don't even have a complaints department. Probably because it would be overwhelmed with calls if this is how they treat their customers. They have caused me a lot of stress and I won't be able to go out anywhere safely until this is resolved since my parcel was a new walking stick to replace my old one, which is broken and unsafe to use. Avoid them like the plague, they will absolutely refuse to help you if something goes wrong.

We have a business account with DPD and the service is terrible. They are supposed to pick up every day, but they consistently cancel our collections at the last minute. How are we supposed to run a business like this? They have different drivers all the time that say "nothing to collect" or that they "can't find us" (we are on a main road, it honestly isn't difficult). When you phone up about failed collections the help desk are rude and unhelpful. The one today said she can't help us as she has already been on the phone with us for 8 minutes....what!? When it was DPD local it was so much better. This service is TERRIBLE for the price they charge. If you are a business i would not recommed them at all.

absolute joke of a company. claimed to have attempted delivery (No they didn't) then told me i had to travel 30 miles to pick up my parcel refused to redeliver to right place until i spent 4 hours trying to get the number of the depot and finally called them and they sorted it allegedly i will believe it when i have it

I received an email on Griday my parcel will be delivered, well it wasn't. No big deal I called the customer service who then rescheduled for next day. Again parcel did not come bit I received an email 'the driver missed you' and a picture of a calling card(a picture of blackout) that was apparently put through my door. Well , I sat the whole time at the window,where my work desk is, and nobody came even close to my door!!! I called the customer service they told me they will call the driver, when discussed with him they told me the parcel was loaded on his van in error and therefore he won't be able to deliver. So the email about 'we missed you' was a lie. When I asked the advisor about it he said this is automatic and they send these lying emails when driver can not make the delivery!!! Outrageous! The person on the phone never apologised to me for the error and deceptive messages..a ridiculous customer service and practices !

Firstly, I don't believe you are sorry. You need to have a serious look at your reviews and your incompetent driver Andrei? He claimed he couldn't find my front door. I mean how ridiculous. 3 days I've been trying to track this parcel. I arranged with seller to have it delivered to a nearby shop. You sent me a text message to say that's where it was going at 2.15pm. By 6pm you changed your mind and sent it back to the seller!!??? What are you on? You didn't even bother telling me. Not fit for purpose. Staff can't read clearly.

The worse delivery company ever. I was home today waiting for them and they said that they missed me and will try again tomorrow. They put on app a pictures taken from nowhere saying that is my address just to try to justifying in a way. I bed the driver didn’t even bother to come.and this is not the first time.

No delivery service should cause so much stress and annoyance to customers. DPD said they left the parcel with a packet shop but called the packet shop the neighbour? .... The packet shop is a 15 minute walk away, so not a neighbour. The packet shop never received our parcel. Where is my packet!? Calling DPD and the service says it was delivered to my address but we don't have it and in the email it says to go to the packet shop. Also its taking ages to get through to a customer service agent. Submitting this before we can talk to them because honest this is at terrible service.

Terrible service. Tried only on 2 occasions to deliver the parcel and returned to sender immediately!!!! They lied to me at the call center that they were attempting to redeliver.

Waiting 2 days for my parcel. And when I check the tracking number I get a message saying that they tried to deliver and there was no one at home, when I sat at the window all day waiting for the package. and nobody came, no possibility to send them a email or phone them, talk with anyone about the situation, horrible service, the worst service ever.

Any company that delivers through DPD already has a red flag from me. The worst courier company there is. Not only have I taken the day off work to wait for a very important parcel, but I am watching the driver through my window, park in front of my house and not even bothering to knock/ring the doorbell, but instead he left a flyer saying that I was not home. By the time I ran down the stairs to catch him he had already drove off. And now I receive a text saying that they don't re-deliver and that I have to walk 30 minutes to their closest drop off shop. I have called to complain because I have paid for this service and they apologized and said there is nothing they can do about it. Horrible service, scamming people of their money. Shame on you!

DPD Is lying regarding Parcel pick-up and delivery just so you feel like they have everything under control. When something goes wrong they won't show up, they come up with some ridiculous reason like there was no parcel to pick up or something else just to put you off apologize, and reschedule the parcel pick up until they have some driver around to do a job. That could take 1 day or even 4 days in a row. Being a big company doesn't mean they are reliable. Prefer DHL and Hermes since I experienced this serval times.

Absolutely appalling courier company, parcel was supposed to be delivered last week re-arranged for monday and still not delivered, lied to not once but 3 times on the phone about the location of the parcel and delays of driver shortage in the area when door bell footage shows vans passing everyday delivering in the area, arrogance personified from Hebburn depot manager about parcel with thousands of pounds worth of good being lost or stolen probably the latter by the looks of the parcel scan movements on the app and not even the slightest wiff of an apology, give your money to evri or yodel parcel might turn up broken but atleast it turns up unlike the thieving black hole of DPD hebburn depot

Any future deliveries i received will NOT be coming from DPD How can this company get it so wrong with 5 days delay on a next day delivery that's worth hundreds of pound to allowing drivers to mark the delivery as no one at address when clearly they can't be bothered driving to the delivery address to delivering to the wrong address. Clearly this is not a one off when i read your company's reviews and clearly your company have forgotten your delivering on behalf of someone that's contracting DPD to make that delivery The only reason I've given the one star is you have to press it to submit a review

Dishonesty throughout the whole of dpd to the drivers who done deliver items, then are rude and abusive to customer visiting them when shouldnt whilst under investigation. To the dishonest lot investigating the complaint who magically close the case without actually investigating or keeping you informed. Wouldnt trust them

Delivery did not take place. Driver did not knock on the door but took a picture of it. He did not try neighbours who were also in. This is the second time in 4 weeks that this has happened with a DPD delivery. You chatbot service is slow and condescending I have now arranged that the company I deal with will use another courier service

Unbelievable bad service. On delivery day, rearrange it to collection on the next day. Whey didn't delivered it to the collection point. I called them a few times, at the end they found my parcel (very expensive one), promised to deliver it before 7pm. 7 o'clock, I need to go to work, the parcel isn't here. And next week I'm at work with out any chance to call them or collect the parcel. I'm very angry.

Delivered parcel to wrong address, I had taken an afternoon off work to collect the parcel as there is no weekend delivery service, then I cannot contact anyone! So frustrating 😖
