The worse couriers in the world! Do not choose them, newer and smaller companies are far better than them. They were meant to come and collect me parcel on Wednesday, I had waited the whole day, their deliver lied and tried to say that there was nothing to collect- pure lie, I have CCTV recording that no one attended my address, I was told issue would be escalated and someone would come to collect it the same day. Nothing happened. The next day exactly the same thing happened and the driver lied again, and when the depot tried to contact him his mobile was off apparently. I was told someone will come by the end of the day- I waited till 8pm! No one came once again. When I called them on Friday they said they can’t come now the job needs to be rebooked- so why couldn’t they tell me this before? Instead of wasting my 72hours!! Horrible service- I would never use their service again and would never recommend. Their staff are lairs, they do not know their job roles, and let customers down. Do not use them if you don’t want to get disappointed.

Ordered frozen food which should have arrived the next day. Waited in but driver didn't show up. Received an email 'sorry we missed you' - they didn't even attempt delivery! Rescheduled for following day. When DPD eventually showed up the following day, I refused to accept the package. The frozen food had by then been in transit for over 2 days and would have been inedible. Useless service!!!!!

This awful company claimed that their driver showed up at my residence for delivery. This is a lie as I sat by my window which is directly opposite a very narrow and quiet road and cannot miss any bike, car or van that goes by. No one rang the doorbell at any point during the delivery window and when I complained, they advised that I should check the app where the driver took a photo of my door and uploaded it. Who cares if he took a photo? Given the amount of things to be delivered, this driver wouldn't have walked down that road as that'd be the only time I would have missed him. Now they're asking that I pick up my parcel as a pick up address even though I worked from home so I can receive my package today. Awful company and I'll never support a business that delivers with DPD as they're unreliable.

I awaited a parcel to be delivered by DPD, I have the DPD app and saw they were going to deliver between 2009hrs and 2109 hours. The tracking info let me know when the driver Hussein would approximately arrive, it then said he is in my area and will be about 4 minutes. After a while I thought that was a long 4 minutes! When I checked the app there was a message saying I could not produce proof of age!!!! I had not seen or heard from the driver! It was a downright lie!! I can understand if there was trouble locating me but please do not lie to a customer!!! The next day (today) I spoke to DPD, they told me the parcel was on route back to the sender! And they had not even tried the second delivery attempt!! They would not give me any information and more or less kept me in the dark. They said they would escalate but it would be an in house investigation and I would not know the outcome!!! Surprise surprise!! I contacted the sender who got onto them straight away hopefully tomorrow I’ll receive the returned parcel L, I won’t hold my breath. Previous to this I had another parcel from them but it did not turn up! It said the parcel was delivered to myself, the photo clearly showed a woman’s hand with blue nail varnish. Luckily I located my parcel further down the road when a lady came out and asked if I was expecting a parcel. Terrible customer service no support at all. Clamp up and cover up appears to be the order of the day. DPD a clowns outfit in my view.

I have been trying to arrange a parcel collection for the last 2 weeks and every time (3 in total) it has been a disaster. First the driver went to the wrong address, then the two other times they didn't bother calling or ringing the doorbell to notify me they had arrived. They simply said, 'the parcel wasn't ready for collection'; despite me being in the home, ready for them, having taken time out of the office for this. DPD customer service have also been no help, they promised that the depot would call me back 'within the hour' to tell me if they had found another driver for my collection; which never happened. Finally, the last time, the customer service agent simply told me the collection had to be rebooked, although none of this was my fault as I was at home, waiting for the driver. A terrible experience, I will never use or recommend DPD again. Such a waste of time!

Parcel supposed to be delivered tomorrow but one road towards us closed. Option to deliver to a neighbour no good because all neighbours on the same closed road, so try “alternate address” option of a neighbour 1/2 mile down the road in opposite (unclosed) direction. System won’t accept this! Phone Customers services, very unfriendly agent informs me that neighbour has a different postcode which is supplied from a different depot. However she can put a note on the system to get the driver to phone me, but she can’t tell him to deliver to a different address. Couldn’t make it up.

My delivery as usual was sent to the wrong address. I have dpd app, instructions how to get to my house. Picture uploaded. Saturday l complained, and wanted to talk to the manager. I was promised a within an hour call back. 3 yes three days later, l got a call from an absolute unprofessional lady, who did not introduce herself l had to ask her name. My blood pressure was through the roof as l set in my car today for 2 hrs waiting for the delivery, deliberately at the wrong address. Guess what! The delivery went there, so just because l recognised from the photo l knew where they go. So, l got my package. Unprofessional, uncaring horrendous service. I will use them when l see my own back side. I by the way, hang up the phone on the unprofessional caller right after l told her what l think of their service. And no l didn’t swear.

Waited in all day for a parcel that I need today. Driver didn't even attempt delivery - the first I knew he was even in the area was when I got a text saying he was unable to deliver. Didn't knock, didn't ring the doorbell, didn't try and phone me. DPD customer service were predictably useless. People love to hate Hermes but at least they'll generally *attempt* to deliver rather than not even trying. Now the parcel I need today won't be ready until 16.30 tomorrow. Thanks, DPD!

I am still waiting for the 20kg package of UK bird seeds that was expected the 29/07 as Amazon Prime delivery. The 30/07 passed the carrier, and he didn't have the package in the van. "I'll come back tomorrow", he said, and on the tracking page, they wrote that I asked to change the day! I called yesterday, and they told me that they made an investigation... the tone of the customer service was really encouraging, and this is sarcasm, not a compliment. Yesterday (08/08), I also ordered bird seeds, on eBay this time, asking before who the carrier was. I am furious!

You book a date for delivery with an online shop but if DPD is the courier you can be sure they won't come on that date. Sadly that is not an exception but the norm.

I’m very disappointed with your service. My parcel should be delivered yesterday, I select a safe place and for the first time the driver ignored everything and didn’t leave the parcel I spoke with customer service and they told me my parcel will be delivered yesterday and that’s was a big lie. Now I receive an email about an ‘unexpected issue’ and my parcel will not be delivered today. Can someone do something about this???? I mean something real and not just talking!!!!!!!!!!

Really poor customer service, I will never use them again. I was at home waiting for my delivery which was scheduled between 9:27am and 10:27am, at 9:48am I receive a message from the DPD that my parcel will be delivered Mon 08 Aug to your nearest Shop as no one was in today. I was surprised by the bad of professionalism of this company. I called the company and the lady told me that she saw on the GPS that the driver was at my address. I said how is it possible if I'm at home and nobody ringed the bell. And I told her that I paid for it to be delivered to my address today and I will not collect anything and I told her that I want my parcel today at my address. She told me that the driver had already been to my address and would not be returning.

Not flexible with delivery times. Don't leave missed calling cards. Will not allow you to pay the extra charge to upgrade to weekend delivery.

I had four failed attempts at delivery. I had texts saying the driver Nicholas was sorry he missed me, the truth is he never made any attempt to deliver my parcel. This is not the first time this has happened. Very poor service

"sorry we missed you". Got this message, contacted customer services to confirm drivers GPS showed he hadn't even tried. Depot unable to contact driver so parcel taken to parcel shop so I could collect it. Not even the parcel shop in my town! I can't remember the last time DPD made a successful stress free delivery to my home. Can't understand how the parcelforce, DHL and hermes can manage it and dpd can't

This is probably the most unprofessional company on the market today, there is virtually no way to contact the driver or customer service, shipments arrive during my working hours and after 2 days they return the shipment to the sender, absolutely avoid this company, the people who work there are probably either out of their minds or have no idea of a professional approach to the customer.

Driver took a picture of my front door but did not knock the door or ring the bell. Then he left the missed you flyer outside on my doorstep. I was home, windows open just a few feet from the door so know he never knocked nor rung the bell. I contacted customer services and was told I’d be charged £2 a minute. When I received my phone bill they charged me £101. Apparently I had called a third party number but although I was complaining to DPD customer services about the cost of the call no-one gave me an alternative number to call. I asked for a manager to call me back no one called me back. I wrote to the CEO to have the matter looked into so I could get a refund for the cost of the calls. I was referred to the SLT team who have so far refused to help me. No apology offered either. I am now following a line of enquiry with the consumer helpline through citizens advice. I have also emailed the CEO again and am awaiting a response. I will never use DPD again. Nor will I order goods from a third party who uses DPD. I ordered my goods from Ugg so am utterly disgusted by all this.

Very bad service! The driver doesn’t even call. Instead says the person isn’t available and leaves it to deliver on some other day. Customer care people are of no use .

Avoid if you can!!! I sent my parcel by service called Classic Air. It should be delivered within 6 – 7 working days. It is now more than 2 weeks and the parcel is not delivered yet. I tried to contact Customer Service – no chance! The phone number which is given will only allow you to talk to… a robot who can only trace your parcel. I tried to contact them by form I found on their website. I filled in all fields and when pressed Submit button – nothing, the form is simply not working. I was using DPD for few years but now it will be my last choice courier service.
