If I could give in - 10 I would . THIS COURIER IS THE WORST IN THE WORLD . They didn’t even bother to try and deliver my parcel as was proved via the GPS . Then they dumped it at a parcel station and then wouldn’t let me pick up as the Parcel was in a different name . EVERY TIME I have a parcel via DPD I have trouble ! Please companies stop using them . THEY ARE USELESS

I've had two consecutive bad encounters with dpd. The first one was in October 2022 when the driver didn't allow enough time for my elderly mother to answer the door to them before posting their "sorry we missed you" card and leaving. I thought it wise to change the delivery address and contacted them to do so. They informed me that I needed to change the delivery address with the vendor not them. I therefore contacted the vendor and changed the delivery address. The confirmation I received from the vendor however still had the original address. I therefore called the vendor again to confirm that the change of address had been acknowledged. They assured me that it had. However DPD sent me a message the next day telling me that the package was about to be delivered to the original and now incorrect address again. I called dpd yet again and explained how I had been trying to change the delivery address. I was told the package was still heading for the original address I at this point gave up and just waited for the delivery myself. This was inconvenient but obviously necessary. The second issue I had was the 29th of November 2022. I bought an expensive item on the understanding that it would be delivered the following day. This was important as I was actually going away the day after and wouldn't be in to receive it. I have the DPD app and was informed that the package had arrived at my local depot at 8:25 that morning. It went on to say that the van would leave fully loaded with packages from around 11 a.m. However it reached 2.00pm before I began to realise that something was wrong. I contacted DPD through the app using the chat function. It became clear that I was just talking to a bot and it was unhelpful and quite useless. I therefore called them from inside the app. I was told when I rang that I was a priority customer because I was calling from within their app. This turned out to be nonsense and I waited 20 minutes before getting through. I was eventually connected with my local depot and I explained that I was becoming concerned about my delivery, and how important it was that it should arrive today. The girl promised to look into it and call me back. She never did. She also told me that the package was still in the depot, but would be going out on a later second delivery to my postcode today. As soon as I came off the phone however I received a message saying that the package wouldn't be delivered until tomorrow. I tried to redirect the package to a pick up point but that option wasn't available. I had also volunteered to go to the depot myself to collect the package in person, but was told that this is not allowed either. This has become quite stressful as I may now have to cancel work to be in to receive the package. My whole experience with dpd has been disappointing. It doesn't exactly inspire confidence iwhen they cannot even manage to successfully change a delivery address when given 24 hours notice and cannot fulfil a promise of next day delivery when the package was received at their depot as early as 8.25am on the morning of the delivery day.

Failed to show, message said running late be with you shortly no show Disgusting service did not answer phone I’ve now cancelled the item. I be will never order from a DPD delivery customer again

The absolute worst. First attempt at delivery they managed to try and reach the wrong address. Second they manage to forget the parcel at the depot. Customer service is almost impossible to reach and even if you do there is almost nothing they can do. Whoever is in charge of this company should do the world a favour by shutting it down and exiling themselves to Mars. I hear it's an up and coming spot for useless human parasites.

Driver showed up at my back gate took a photo and then decided to drive off with my parcel said I wasn’t home . Could not even be bothered to knock my door . This was an iPhone 14 that im now going to have to chase up . Rang to complain and they told me the driver would come back that day then rang again at 5pm for them to say no it’s not coming back . Customer service were apologetic on the phone just the driver (Ikram) I’m annoyed with has caused me a lot of stress

Would give a photo, but given item not delivered can't. Paid extra for designated day and no delivery because of an 'unexpected issue'. Retailer say DPD have item, what no driver, no van? Why only informed of issue 2.45pm after wasting day waiting - they assume I can just take an extra day off without issue? DPD you are winning the race to the bottom of the pile. Retailer take note note, seeing DPD as courier will stop me making purchases, I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Can someone explain why my last few dpd deliveries have not arrived when specified & the reason given is the driver couldn't find my address or it gets delivered to the co-op, my address isn't difficult to find, all other couriers managed to find it. Theres no pictures or evidence of the driver even being in my area, so I can at least no they genuinely have been here, this problem seems to be dpd & i now do not order an item if the seller uses dpd as it's beyond a joke that I stay home to receive the parcel & nothing shows up. I have been onto trust pilot & other review sites to leave negative reviews & share my experience with others, Surely this cannot continue & dpd have to deal with the poor customer service from their couriers, you'd like to think that companies will stop using dpd then they might get the message, although I suppose cost plays a part as dpd are kne of the cheap & cheerful options out there, Would someone fro dpd like to respond & explain why this is happening please ?

I received both a text message and an email confirming that an online purchase from Curry’s would be delivered between 13.55 and 14.55 today. I have been at home all day and looking out for the delivery. At 14.26 I received an email indicating that they’d missed me and that my parcel would now have to be collected from a collection point once I have received a pick-up pass! I do not believe that any attempt at delivery was made. Other reviews suggest that this is not an unusual cause of complaint. Why do businesses like Curry’s continue to use this company?

I sent the below complaint to DPD but I suspect that no one there reads it - I think it all goes into a black hole: “I would like to submit a complaint regarding my experience with the above delivery/parcel. It had been out for delivery twice and twice the drivers went to the wrong location in spite of the tracking map showing the correct location for our home - why didn’t they check this? This is not the first time this has happened. Why didn’t they phone for directions? I then get a “sorry we missed you” with a photo of the wrong house! This was infuriating because I could see where he was on the tracking map. Also in past our parcels have been delivered to the wrong house and our neighbours have had to bring them round. WHY CANT YOUR DRIVERS WORK OUT WHERE WE ARE?? All other couriers find us no problem - what on earth is wrong DPD - seriously you would think after years of this some progress would have been made. You have my phone number - why can’t you give it to the drivers and TELL THEM TO PHONE!? This parcel was needed on the day. We were having a new unfinished door installed and the parcel was the varnish we needed to protect the door form the rain. It didn’t arrived in time and I had to go and spend the money twice to get what was needed. Really annoying when good old S**** and A*** - the two drivers should have been able to phone for directions - or may they couldn’t be bothered and didn’t give a monkeys. Your tracking map had the pin on the correct location - are S***** and A*** totally incapable of checking this but instead spend ages traipsing up and down the wrong lane? Seriously what is wrong with DPD…TOTALLY RUBBISH In the end I asked for it to be delivered to a collection point and had to make yet another trip into town to collect the parcel (the varnish) which I had to purchase twice because S***** and A*** obviously don’t take their work seriously From now on I will always ask if the seller is planning to use DPD and if they say yes I will say that I will shop else where Really fed up with DP

Driver didn't turn up. I watched him pass my street on their tracking app twice. Then the driver disappears off the map and it's now been 10 hours of "Asen is currently making delivery 84 you are 85." Is he delivering it to Scotland? Can't get in touch with anyone as their customer service is shut and chat app doesn't recognise their own order number. Looking around they have lots of complaints when anything expensive is supposed to be delivered. Dodgy drivers stealing. I would give a minus score if I could.

I had a delivery of an expensive phone and as I work in a different city, I arranged to be home for when it scheduled the delivery. They gave me a window on thursday of when it would be delivered, then without notification until 6 hours or so after the window of delivery said it would be delivered tomorrow. They then didn't deliver it tomorrow. I then paid extra for it to be delivered on saturday instead and it said it would be delivered on saturday. It then wasn't delivered. So not only was I lied to they stole my money in addition. Wish I could give less than one star.

If I could would give zero-. Tracked and DPD driver was in the area and would deliver in the next hour. Next time we get a message that sorry we missed you and couldn't deliver even though were at home. Next we get a message that we have to go and collect from a pick up shop some miles away... In conversation later DPD said they cannot arrange a re-delivery, we have to go and collect

Unacceptable service and customer support. My parcel was never delivered. I was given an extremely specific slot between 10:18-11:18 and never got anything.The app states my parcel has been delivered and received by SATURN ISSUE. I call dpd three times to understand what the above means and get three different responses:1.you need to raise an investigation issue with the sender, 2.your parcel will be delivered today, just wait 3. your parcel will be delivered tomorrow. Honestly this is ridiculous. You give me all this useless information about my driver and his hobbies and you can’t even CALL HIM to understand where the parcel is? And give your customer three different responses? And your slot is specific to the minute 10:18-11:18? Honestly? That’s just ridiculous. You expect your customer to do your job on your behalf, why don’t you contact your driver first and then ask me to contact the sender, just unacceptable service. Will avoid everyone working with DPD.

Yet again DPD have failed to deliver a next day parcel. Its been to Tyneside, hub 5, Dudley Port, Hub 4, currently in Swansea. They promise to deliver tomorrow, but I doubt I will receive it, as I am waiting to hear that its gone to Scotland via hub 99 or maybe its due a trip around Europe first. Who knows with this company.

DPD were meant to collect the parcel yesterday but due to ‘unforeseen circumstances’ didn’t collect the parcel and re-scheduled for today. Guess what, no one showed up again today. Not happy 😡

They delivered my parcel to the wrong address. Contacted them and I was promised the driver would return to the address, retrieve the parcel and deliver it to me. 5 phone calls later, still waiting. I called earlier and someone advised me to call the original sender to ask for a full refund of my parcel even though it was their drivers fault. Honestly, they are completely useless. Don’t use them. They promise they’ll sort things out and ring you back and they never do.

Dreadful customer service. Whilst away a calling card left. On return entered the details on web site to be told it was invalid. Phoned their head office in Birmingham to be told the item was signed for whilst we were away by someone with the same surname as ours with the brown door ajar. We have a white front door and so do all the other residents in our cul de sac. Despite numerous phone calls and promises of someone to call back, no one has bothered. Asked for a photo of the delivery point and told they do not send photos despite I am told that they should. Never use again.

Happily take the £4.99 to arrange a Sunday delivery to be told on the Monday they don't do Sunday delivery in our area. Have to ring customer services which is an obsurd amount of money to try and get the money back. Mean while they keep trying to deliver parcel when we are at work and the circle just keeps on going round and round
