Taken day off work to wait for a delivery. I was messaged to give my my 1hr time slot, then I got a message to let me know driver was 30 mins away, then one to say I was next, so I sat in my front room waiting to leap to the front door - and then I got a message saying sorry we missed you! Photo on the app is of a grass verge opposite my house that is obviously taken when driving by! I contacted via the chat and explained the situation and was rung by a lovely lady from the depot who spoke to the driver who was adamant that he had tried to deliver my parcel but would turn back and deliver later - hours later - no parcel!

Just had a parcel delivered. Driver came in without a mask (despite walking past 3 signs that said no entry without a mask), said he didn't have one and refused to go outside with parcel because "I've brought it in now and only need to take a photo". DPD is sending staff out without facemasks and then they are refusing to leave when asked to. It's not surprising thousands of people have died needlessly of Covid with this kind of selfish attitude.

Timeline - promised delivery 23 oct, paid next day delivery. 23 oct driver mike tries to deliver to a house not even in my road and takes a photo of the front door that isn't even mine, or in my road. Called customer service and depot, they promise delivery 24th!! 24th OCT Same driver mike, I can see him on your tracking live map a few mins from my house, he then drives back to depot!!! no attempted delivery. Call customer service and depot and assured delivery today (Sun 25th), got a message confirming arriving today, and your tracking also says delivery today, then changes to there's an unexpected issue in my area and won't be delivered til 26th!!!!!! There are no issues in my area, I think in fact driver mike has stolen my parcel and you cant find it. What the actual hell is going on, Driver Mike needs sacking, has he in fact stolen my parcel!!! DPD you now have the same credibility as My Hermes, totally unreliable and you lie all the time. Please don't waste your money with DPD, THEY DONT DELIVER.

If I could give minus stars I would! Absolute shambles of a company. Nine out of ten parcels from them in the last few weeks have had issues, either late, left with random people, left in the street, left in the rain, put in a dustbin, on bin day, the list goes on. I now will not deal with any company that uses them as their sole delivery partner. What makes it worse is there head office couldn't care less.

Retailer apparently arranged for DPD to collect a faulty chainsaw on Wednesday, then Thursday, then Friday and now Monday. DPD told the retailer that they had called on Thursday and gave a time they called. I was at home all day and in the front room waiting and they didn't come. I've now no confidence in the retailer or DPD.

Spent all day waiting for an expensive parcel to arrive, only for the driver to claim I wasn't in without even ringing the door bell. Spent 40 minutes going through a clearly intentionally obtuse phone system, finally getting to an agent who promised the depot would ring me back within an hour - which again, has not happened! What an absolutely useless company, I'll be avoiding any companies that ship via DPD in future.

Delivery cancelled right at the end of the day after I had waited in all day. Still waiting to hear when my package will arrive. Will not place future orders within retailers who use thus carrier.

I want to give NO stars, The driver did not call, stopped at the bottom of the hill and took a photo, then said I was out. I paid £10 extra to get this the next day, I rang DPD within 5 mins of the sorry you were out email, and was told the driver would call back and they were very sorry. Hour later I rang back again, the driver will TRY and come back, if not he will deliver tomorrow. DPD getting as bad as the rest, drivers just dont care.

Dishonest, inefficient. Avoid at all costs. Sue me if you dare. Sadly unable to give less than One Star. Driver claimed to have tried to deliver to my business premisise between 9 and 10 but was unable to, even though we were open from 9 sharp. Contacted a call centre , Imtiaz unable to reschedule urgent delivery for later today. Promised I would receive call-back from his manager Nathaniel (refused to provide a surname) as there is no way of being directed to a more senior member of staff. Call back was promised for 12pm, never done. Another call, another call-centre operative (Vicky this time), told me I'd get a call back at a time which would suit their company. A constant stream of lies and evasions froman organisation that really shouldn't be in business.

First it toke ages to receive the parcel, the parcel went back and had to come back again. The presented excuse was that they wouldn't find the address, when every time we order something, food or any kind of online order, we always got our orders delivered with any problem and confusion, and obviously the same adress details are given. You might start thinking educating your workers in basic orientation skills, maybe some geography lessons and how to use google maps and critical thinking.   For the forth time the parcel I've received was completely damaged, most things broken inside, even with the contents all inside strong plastic bags, things still arrive in awful conditions. You should hire people with proper physical and mental conditions, able to carry things and not throwing them. How can you have weak people performing this job. Defenetly we are looking forward to use a different company for further deliveries, even knowing we stupidly have been using DPD for the last 5 years. But there isn't any kind of improvement, incompetente people still "working"  and I doubt things will change.

Worst company ever. It's just not worth the hassle using them as I've spent the last week chasing up/calling them about a parcel which they don't seem to be able to grasp the concept of communicating clear delivery instructions to their drivers. I'm sick to the back teeth of telling them the same thing over and over and no outcome. I can't believe Amazon still uses them based on the reviews on here!!! Horrible horrible company

The driver that was meant to deliver my parcel (Marius), has made no attempt at delivery whatsoever. Both my partner and I were in the house, and we were in our upstairs bedroom window when we noticed the DPD van being parked outside the house. We both looked at the driver sitting in his van for a couple minutes, waiting for him to leave his van and get my parcel before heading downstairs to open the front door. To our shock, the driver just stood on the pavement at the street and took a picture of my front door, ran towards my door, slipped a missed parcel card through our letterbox, made no effort whatsoever of knocking on the door or to wait more than one second, ran back towards his van and drove off. All the while he was walking towards my house, I started heading downstairs to the front door, but by the time I realised What he had done, he was in his van and drove off without looking back. I then contacted your team on the live chat, and they basically told me there was nothing they could do and I would get a re-delivery tomorrow. No delivery attempt was made. He was being too lazy to knock on our door or to do his job properly, just slipped a card through our letterbox and drove off. I am also nearly certain that he saw us staring at him from the windows, but he made no effort to deliver the parcel nonetheless. I find this absolutely unacceptable. I have paid £6.85 for this delivery, and would have expected my parcel to be delivered the next working day as promised. This parcel was not delivered due to no fault of my own, and I should therefore be entitled for a refund on my shipping cost. I am now forced into organising for someone to be there to receive this parcel tomorrow, when we had other plans.
