If i could put a negative score i would... Our full Xmas dinner and all trimmings was due to be delivered on 23rd Dec , at 6pm we were told the driver didn't want to come to our area and our parcel would be returned to the depot. And as it was perishable it would be destroyed. That was our turkey and all trimmings and veg ordered in Oct. So I had to run around with our last bit of money trying to find the bits and turkey for our Xmas dinner. We didn't even get an apology just "there's nothing we can do." So thanks DPD for destroying our Xmas this year.

No Xmas parcel - utter shambles and lack of communication between Betty's and DPD. On Tuesday 20-12-22 I receive and email from DPD saying that 'We’ve got your Bettys parcel, however, we wanted to let you know that it has been sent to us after the last Christmas shipping date. This means it will now probably arrive after Christmas'. I was then assured by Betty's that it would. Betty's even had a banner on there website saying this and that every effort was to be made to delivery orders on time. No further contact or apology from Betty's or DPD until an email arrives 24-12-12 saying that the parcel would not be delivered before Xmas. This is completely unacceptable given the parcel and delivery date (21-12-22) were set in October with DPD as the courier. Further, the reason given 'unexpected issue' is neither specific or credible given that the parcel is already three days late. The planning here is derisory and it would appear there has been little in the way of prioritisation. And I don't want to hear the excuse you have been busy - it is up to you to plan and risk mitigate.

I ordered a £900 I phone for my niece for Christmas and was messed around two days running as the phone hadnt arrived either dates as stated. 3rd delivery date given the phone was delivered, only to find that the phone had been stolen and replaced with two diaries. I am sure that the two delivery drivers that failed to deliver on the dates stated are in it together so that it can’t just be pin pointed onto the of them. The manager was due to call me but I never heard anything back. Bad customer service to say the least ! The driver that finally delivered the parcel was very helpful and I don’t believe had any involvement at all. I called DOD to speak to someone and the man was rude and was talking o et me and not listening to what I had to say.

Have had two parcels now on different occasions both say your parcel is on its way to our stoke depot and next time I check I get SORRY THERE IS A PROBLEM IN YOUR AREA AND ANOTHER SAYING ITS STILL AT HINKLEY SORTING DEPOT THIS COMPANY IS A TOTAL WASTE OF SPACE DPD MUST MEAN DELAYED PARCEL DELIVERY

Appalling Once again undelivered. No response from cust service. Package is still in rumney depot for nearly a week.no updates given.ruined Xmas present. This company shouldn't be allowed to carry on like they do.

Christmas Hamper ordered for delivery 22nd December 2022. It's a Christmas Hamper, therefore I needed it for Christmas. Not delivered 22nd. Receive a text message to say will now be delivered 23rd. Yesterday received a message to say would be delivered today. Rang the company who I ordered the Hamper from and they said it won't be delivered until 28th December now. Not sure when/or if I will receive the hamper. Disgusting service!!!

I have been waiting 4 days for a parcel no attempt has been made to deliver this parcel and now you have the nerve to return it back to the sender. May i suggest you employee more staff.

Xmas hampers ordered November did not arrive despite their countless communications. A greedy inept firm. Avoid at all cost and tell your suppliers to stop using them

Not even worth the one star but not possible to leave anything lower.  Horrible, horrible service, shouldn't really even exist. Rogue company that takes your payments and then just doesn't bother. Next day delivery is still at their depot 5 days later. Hasn't even moved yet and customer services are the greatest waste of time and space. Very lengthy queues and then they cut you off. Please be very careful and avoid them! Will never ever use them again.....absolutely unreliable and uninterested after they receive payment.

I waited in all day last week no phone call no text at all what a waste of time in the end had to go and drop off myself have not got a printer at all had to get a label printed which cost £3.00 now it is happening again waiting in today no show again probably another wasted day I cant even track the van why not i will not be using this company ever again

I would give even negative points if I can. I took day off so that I am home to receive the parcel and driver never rang the bell and later just found a note that it will be delivered to some pickup place....the driver's name was Lukasz. They are just lazy to even ring the bell. Never ever using DPD again.

I urge you NOT to use DPD. I, like many others, have been waiting for a delivery for weeks. Initially i received texts to say that my items would be delivered the next day. This went on for a couple of weeks, then commutation has stop. I cannot get get through to anyone and I don't know where my goods are. Their customer service is appalling. I think the next stage is media involvement to highlight how very bad DPD are..

Our Xmas hamper to our daughter was never delivered and it was impossible to contact DPD either on line or by phone. This indicates a complete indifference to customers and I will suggest to the company despatching the hamper, that they should consider an alternative delivery company in future.

Would give zero stars if this option was available. Modern day Dick Turpins paid for express delivery (1-2days) still waiting on day 5 with no confirmed delivery date

This is the second parcel that DPD have not bothered to deliver. One from the 5th December and another from the 20th December. What a shambles of a Company. A total disgrace and should not be in business. This was meat for Christmas dinner and nothing. No contact whatsoever. They take on Parcelforce work due industrial action and let their regular customers suffer. My sympathy is with the shipping outlets that have to issue refunds due to DPD incompetence, and these are small businesses. Hang your heads in shame DPD, You are shocking and I truly hope that you go bust. Have emailed the CEO Elaine Kerr and she has not bothered to reply so shows how much she cares. Received an email from their complaints department promising contact within 5 days to discuss a resolution. Absolutely nothing. Am I surprised? Not at all. The Stoke depot are horrific and the staff do not deserve to be dealing with the public as their attitude is dire. I now check which courier a store/outlet uses before I buy and if it's DPD I say Thanks but NO THANKS.

Bought a phone from Apple, due to arrive 6 days ago. I get a daily message saying it will be out tomorrow, still not here. Customer service unable to help, can't give any further information. This is for my business, but it doesn't matter to them. Under resourced at all levels, the CEO is responsible and should take personal accountability for getting it so wrong, ruining business, health and Christmas for many.

Avoid this company. Been waiting for a parcel for 8 days, that was sent next day. Every day we get an e mail with a delivery slot, only to receive another later saying it was not possible to deliver your parcel. No explanation. Customer service was useless. Apologetic but unable to do anything regarding service recovery. They were unable to speak to local depot, and not possible to go to depot to collect in person. Avoid if possible.
