“We booked tickets through Dreamworld for travel in December 2021 that we unfortunately had to cancel due to COVID. We have now attempted to move them to an alternative date in April (as my father in law is ill and we need to travel ASAP) but have been quoted an astronomical change fee & have tried to call them (without success). Offered to book somewhere else, which I agreed to, but refused to give me a voucher number and asked me to provide them with a travel plan.... weird. I have done that after numerous exchanges (one side) and then they disappeared again. No news since .....”
“We just booked flights to Australia in December for Brothers wedding and we have paid nearly £5000 to Dreamworld! Unfortunately we had not read the reviews as we went through Sky Scanner and trusted that as an ATOL company that Dreamworld would be ok to book through! However now we can’t get through to anyone via email or phone, they are ignoring us! So I don’t feel confident they have even booked us on the flights! We are checking with the airlines today! Do not book with these people, they’ve taken our money and we should have the courtesy of a response and more information from them! They say we can’t book seats until 3 months before!! Looking at other reviews, I don’t hold out much hope of getting our tickets nearer the time! And we can’t wait until September to find out it’s a scam!! AVOID!!”

Checked reviews before booking flights October 21 and were mixed. Book flights - no tickets issued, then flight ban, hours on telephone with polite but useless employee. All emails get the same reply - wait 72hours for response - with no response after 72 hours. Tried to get me to cancel my flights with a £540 charge in total, refused and requested full refund due to no flights on departure date despite flight ban lifted. Told to wait 12 weeks, did, now no response to emails at all!!”

scamming people take money for flights that are not even scheduled but they still book it online. We phoned up for electronic ticket a week before flight and they told us they would send it in 24/48 hrs. This did not materialise and then they told us the flight had been cancelled!! If we had not kept phoning up we would not have been the wiser. They keep you on hold for hours on the phone, only to disconnect you at the very last minute.
Will not be using these scammers again.

After read other reviews about DWT, I realised I’m not the only one being cheated, too many consumers experience the same. My booking ref. 4407965
They took the money when the booking reached them, but never made the ticket! In coming days they asked me to cancel the booking to get a refund, so I did, but they started to behave strangely: On the surface they act very polite, patient, but they are actually avoiding any actual communication! On phone calls they said the people who could answer my concerns sat in a silent department only, they encouraged me to send an email instead. Sometimes my emails got answered, sometimes not. If they answered they kept telling casual lies, such as they would arrange refund during the week, the month, in priority etc. At last, after more than 6 months I sent some more emails asking them pls don’t lie and update for me their refund plan, there was no longer response. Either they have assumed the money became theirs according to the plan and blocked me, or in their understanding, don’t lie means shut up.
‘Dream world travel’ is such a sarcasm name, their actual name is Consumer nightmare, commercial fraud, illegal existence, cheat world bookings, Industrial disgrace!
Earlier I never thought a legally registered Company would be granted to do such underhand thing yet have existed for years in a modern society, but I believe there are many court cases, claims they are involved in. Empowered consumers will keep fighting against such commercial criminals!”

Why I should choose one star from them, they do not deserve. Standard approach is to take your money right after you handed in a booking, but do not make ticket for you! You spend a thousand attempts for communication, if you call, waiting in the busy line for hour, then they ask u to send an email only, if you send email, they either don't response, or keep lying (such as lying that they are preparing a refund for you this week/this month etc-which never cashed out). After several months you're tired of such invalid communication, they assume money is theirs. So easy. Commercial fraudster and criminal!

I have booked five tickets with this company in Jan 2020 and flights were cancelled due to the global pandemic.
The airline company refunded the money straight to this sham company but this company made excuses to refund my mony and never intend to pay.
After 14 months and mybe over emails I decided to report to my bank which thankfully refunded my money in full in two months.
Please don't wait them to pay you, they will never do. Go through your bank, if you have used credit card when bought the tickets don't worry your credit card will cover it and get back the money from this fraud company.”

“I don't usually do reviews but this is definitely a scam company. Been waiting for a refund since June 2020 and all they do is lie to you. They have given us 8 different dates when it would be paid and they failed. Other family members who booked at the same time (but used a credit card) were able to get their money back within weeks. We now have no choice but to pursue legal remedy.
Please do not book with these people, they are not a legitimate company.”
