Waited in for delivery all day. Tracking says it's out. No contact telling us there is a problem. Very unprofessional. Ancient technology where they give a whole day as their delivery slot. So you can do nothing. Wouldn't be so bad if they actually delivered. Avoid.

Avoid at all costs. All they are good at is lying! Breached delivery times. Track and trace last 3 days says "out for delivery today" BUT still no delivery. Contacted them, every day different excuses. Eventually after contacting them 3 times they have delivered my goods today.

This company is a joke! It doesn’t really match the name DX secure as parcel is not at all secure! Delivered a random passport to my door, as concern citizen I contacted them to report the incident. customer service is unbelievably horrendous. I hate to say this but they are absolutely stupid who don’t know what they’re doing. I communicated with them for a week just for the passport to be collected but it didn’t go anywhere until I told them “I gave up” and just wait for a complaint from the passport owner. I pity the owner of the passport I bet she was worried. We are talking about a passport here a very important and sensitive document. I should’ve surrendered the passport to the police for security. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST!

Having been told twice that my parcel couldn't be delivered as no one was home (they were) and they left their calling card (they didn't) I am reluctant to spend another day waiting in for nothing. Currently still awaiting my parcel.........

Wish I could give this company 0 stars. Attempted delivery on day 1. Utter rubbish. Rebooked delivery for day 2 and PAID for it to be delivered after 1pm. At 10.45am I receive an email (while I'm still at work) stating that delivery was attempted but no one was there to sign. Called the company. On hold for 40 minutes only to finally be told that no-one can contact the driver. They will call me back in a few minutes... Phoned them again 2 hours later to be left on hold again, and then told that the neither the main office, nor the depot can contact the driver, who has appeared to have switched off his phone! Parcel is valuable and sentimental. I'm considering reporting to police as stolen as, not only has it not been delivered, but no one can contact the driver. All sounds very dodgy to me.

Lied about 'attempting delivery' when i was waiting all day. Couldn't take anymore time off work and i don't have a work address that this can be delivered to, so suggested a family member. They informed me that they cannot do this so i asked what my options were and got a copy/paste response about paying for redelivery between 9am and 5pm (after I stated i cannot be at home for this) or delivery to a work address (again I stated this was not possible). Finally asked them where the depot was so I could collect. I haven't seen such a run down place in a long time. Went to the entrance and it said 'Use other door', got to other door and it said that this door is not always in use so go back to previous door! I rang a bell and waited like a lemon for a good few minutes. Walked back to other door and rang, waited, nothing. Went back to the other door again and rang holding my finger down and finally got a response. I said I was here to pick up my passport and the voice on the intercom just said 'Ok' and went quiet. Another minute (no joke here) a guy emerges from inside and lets me in. Dingy lobby, wet floors cones everywhere, broken tiles on the floor, armchair falling apart that looked like it had been salvaged from the blitz and it smelt of cigarette smoke? Was this why i didn't get a response for so long? Trying to clear the air? Anyway, all in all a very bad and confusing ordeal. Who gave these guys the contract?! Awful customer service and the lobby reminded me of my secondary school bathroom. Hopefully will never have to deal with DX again.

Stay away from this company, dishonesty seems to be the company policy, rude staff toped up with careless attitude, they never run out of lines and excuses. Not happy at all.

I received an e mail to state my parcel had been delivered. It hadn't been. Upon further enquiry it seems like the courier has delivered it to an office address over a mile away. Two days after being told it would be picked up and redelivered, I have yet to hear anything. The worst service I have ever encountered.

Horrendous rude customer service and couriers were meant to deliver parcel and when I wasn't in all that was there was "put in a appropriate location" learned 3 days later that they put it in a bush! Really a bush? Who even does that do not ever use them thankfully got full refund from the company I bought it from! 0 stars dire exactly!

I waited in all day for my son's passport to be delivered, dx messaged me saying it would be delivered between the times of 9am and 5pm. I had no delivery at all, instead I had a text message from them saying they were unable to deliver my passport and had left a card. What a joke the card must have been invisible because I searched everywhere for a card. They are going to attempt delivery again tomorrow, I just hope they actually send someone to my door this time.

DX delivered my passport to a black door and thought it sufficient to take a photo of the door. No attempt was made to find my cottage as there is no numbering system in the street. After contacting the passport office they informed me about the black door and the photograph but would not send me the photograph due to data protection rules. I paid the extra for secure delivery!!! After a heated exchange with DX they have blocked all calls to my delivery number. The passport office said they would contact me but have so far failed to do so. A friend of mine used to live next door to Theresa May who lives in our village, she will be at a cricket event soon where I will get my friend to have a go at her about DX delivery.

Absolute joke of a courier company and once more they won't even be bothered that 92% of reviewers have awarded them one star. Does HM Passport Office do any due diligence on their suppliers? I will be making a formal complaint to HM Passport Office about DX. They have no reliable tracking systems. My delivery was due between 8am and 6pm today and it's now gone past 6pm with no updates on when my passport is going to be delivered.

The worst delivery service my company has come across. Got informed of urgent delivery slot between 12-4pm to receive urgent documents from FCO and got an email at 1pm saying they couldn't get access to property even though I waited outside to ensure they made delivery. No one manning the "busy" call centre I've tried calling 20 times today and asked to email an urgent inbox for a response within 24hrs. If I rebook I have no way of knowing if they're even attempting delivery to the right address. I'm not asking much to want to speak to a human.

Found a delivery company worse than Hermes! I’ve been sat in all day (9-5pm) waiting for my passport that was attempted to be delivered last Thursday. I received my old passport on the same day returned to me with no issues but I received a text from DX to say that they had ‘attempted to deliver my new passport’ but as we you know, work no one was home during the day. I had to rearrange delivery online blah blah blah. Which I did and I rearranged for it to be delivered today and I took an unpaid day off work to sit and wait for it. When 5pm approached I googled DX delivery and came across hundreds of negative reviews online and on Twitter and it dawned on me, these fools wouldn’t be delivering my passport today. I contacted them on twitter and asked for an update on my passport delivery and added don’t bother lying about saying you have “attempted delivery” as we have CCTV on the front door and I got a response with a whopper of a lie saying and I quote “The driver has said that the delivery failed previously due to a secure entrance” from a rep called Jamie. This couldn’t be more a blatant lie if it tried and it actually doesn’t make sense? What does a secure entrance even mean? It’s a normal front door. They are no dragons securing it, no draw -bridges to cross.. it’s just a front door. If this WAS the case last Thursday then why was I given the option to rearrange delivery at my convenience? Surely this massive crucial bit of info should have been flagged up LAST THURSDAY. I’ve now lodged a complaint to the passport office who are doing a formal investigation but I’m surprised these bunch of cowboys have been given (and kept) the contract of delivering secure documents to the whole of the UK. Something very dodgy about the whole lot of it tbh.

Could not get through to DX Norwich so after 40 minutes rang Cambridge depot. Lady answering the phone could not have been more helpful after DX tried to deliver a day before their text message to me. She could not transfer me either so took my delivery code & emailed Norwich. Delivery was going to be attempted again today so now waiting. Thankyou young lady in Cambridge. Job well done! 5 stars! Norwich not so good, 1 star!

I am opening a new business next week so getting lots of parcels delivered. I missed a delivery and got a card through the door so dutifully went online to re-arrange delivery. Code not working... So I called the number on the card, they can't find any record with this code or with my name or address (which has been written on the card). They give me another number to call, no record or the parcel there, then another number to call and again no record. My requests to speak to a supervisor or manager were flatly refused. Why should a customer be having to call multiple numbers to trace a parcel when the company's system is obviously not working? I was told again and again, there are 3 different systems for tracing a parcel depending on it's size. Why are all 3 systems not accessible by the operator at the end of the phone line printed on the missed delivery card? The last person I spoke to said she would look into it and call me back - Rosemarie White. 4 hours later no phone call so I called back again to hear that they still have no trace of the parcel and to go to my supplier. With 30 or so parcels currently out for delivery, how should I do that? What a total and utter shambles. Staff seemed poorly trained, had no idea how to trace a problem but the main issue seems to be with the frankly not fit for service system they are using. I have no control over which courier is used when I buy something online but I most certainly will never ever use DX delivery myself in the future.
