Worst experience from a 'delivery' company, a shambles from start to finish. They have just Emailed to say how pleased they are to be partnered with Gardening Express. Yeah right! Their own tracking stated on Thursday last week that the plants were "out for delivery" I stayed in all day - NO DELIVERY. Same on Friday "out for delivery", guess what - NO DELIVERY. No apology, no Email, with the weather we have been having lately what are my poor plants going to look like? Nothing at all happened over the weekend, finally on Monday got my first Email from DX confirming delivery.... Whoopy! Sayed in again for third day, followed their tracking and seeing van getting closer, an unmarked (no Logo) arrived on opposite side of the road ... was it or wasn't it my delivery .... van drove away, almost immediately I received an Email stating "SORRY WE MISSED YOU"! Bloody hell I'm fuming, just to make things worse (yes they can) neither the retailer or DX have any phone line available for assistance in case of issues. Tuesday another Email confirming delivery, this time they did deliver my opened and damaged box containing 2 dried and dead plants the bottom of the box was covered in dried leaves and flowers. My promise to myself is simple, I will never use a seller that does not offer a contact phone number, unfortunately I have no such control over their couriers.

Said sorry I missed you. Been home all day with gaurd dog in house, kitchen window open and car on front. Noone has been to my door... either of them! Sons 18th birthday gift late. Goes in army tomorrow without it. What a useless company.

DX Caught lying. They said they have attemted delivery on a given date and time. I waited in for them and on-one turned up. If they knocked or rang my bell my dog would bark his head off. I have also got x3 cctv cameras at the front of the property and not one of them has recorded any DX delivery driver at my property on this day especially at the time they said. I have now got to wait in or arrange for someone to be here on Monday. TOTAL LIES.

Didn’t turn up for a pick-up apparently van broke down. Funny as that was their excuse twice in December. I only found out because I called retailer because they were 2 hrs late. Either they have a poor fleet or they lie .

What a horrendous experience, DX doesn’t even deserve the 1* I’ve been forced to give. Much like the 2 days I’ve wasted despite ongoing communication that something would be delivered, terrible service and has to be one of the worse logistics/courier experience I’ve ever seen. What was more concerning was how the retailer seemed to just accept such an inept company representing them. We are cancelling the order and won’t accept any future deliveries from DX. Why we should waste 2 days and not get any of the promised calls and updates promised? Retailers need to stop working with companies that can’t ‘deliver’ on promises!

If I could would give a minus.An expensive item simply left at a neighbouring farm/ although the tracker said it had been signed for this was not true. Contacted DX no apology just told to contact sender. We had to visit neighbouring properties to find our delivery.

One star is still one star too many, I was supposed to have my delivery today, they gave me a 3 hour window so I made sure I was home, the driver arrived and gave me exactly 1 minute and 37 seconds to get up, put shoes on and get outside, I’m disabled, when I got outside he was driving away, on seeing me he came back, gave me a tirade of abuse and quite honestly frightened me, and still drove away without leaving my parcel. Everything is on my house cctv and I’m also tinking about putting a police complaint in over his abusive behaviour. Bu the way his name is Daniel and he should be ashamed of the way he spoke to a vulnerable disabled woman

AWFUL!! Absolutely horrible. I honestly think there is no one less helpful and worse than DX Delivery. I rebooked delivery 3 times. They would change the dates. Didn’t want to give me my passport back. NEVER WORK WITH THEM

Since my order on the 31/03/26 DX Freight have been unable to make my delivery till date (7 weeks and counting). They provide no alerts for delivery, split my order into separate deliveries, falsely claim address I provided is incorrect, and returned my items to the vendor with no reason provided. It has been truly hellish considering that after all the time wasted there has been no apology nor attempt to contact the number provided to find the said ‘incorrect address’. This same order has been reissued by the vendor because of their ineffectiveness and it is still in some loop I cannot make any sense of. I have tried several times to call DX Freight from Accra, Ghana to rectify this issue with no response. Your online chat agents show no sensitivity, provide the same generic response to complaints and promise calls the company does not make. I have never seen a delivery service so bad in my life. I have already sent a complaint to the email which has not been responded to till date.

Terrible company. Cannot contact via telephone goes to automation. Live chat is a completely waste of time as you cannot ask the question you want. I would give it zero marks!

I was told my delivery would be on 13th April 2026. Promised dates and times came and went without delivery.There was someone at home throughout the 24hours and cameras showed that no delivery had been attempted. The reason given to the supplier was that delivery could not be made because of roadworks in the area - absolutely untrue. We had deliveries during this time and I have been out and about and there were no roadworks. What a service!!!

Refused delivery of a duplicate item as advised by online retailer and nearly 6 weeks on no solution to missing item, a large garden parasol! The retailer has been worse than useless to date but advises that DX has no record of the return! I watched as the delivery guy completed the paperwork which he seemed hesitant about but just assumed he was possibly new to the job No copy given either and, as I have never refused delivery before, I stupidly did not think to ask for one. Extremely disappointing and feel very let down by both the online retailer and DX.

This Company are an absolute Disgrace to the Rude reception to unbelievably incompetent delivery drivers, broken items delivered thrown in my garden. Not delivered on the date no tracking available just awful.

Waited in for 3 hours. To be told it would not be delivered it was only an envelope! But as they get per load. Mine was left oiut. Because they dont earn enough money to deliver small items. This is an important document, but needs a signature! Too much hassle????
