“Unprofessional employees will make your car hire here the worst ever!
We booked a car with them at Heathrow in the evening (for 3 days), but once we arrived there was a one-hour fuss about credit cards. Later a grumpy clerk with just as many teeth as brain cells told us the booking had been cancelled five hours earlier and was removed from the system! All arguing didn't result in anything and we weren't able to get any car although we had already paid a deposit and the insurance! This completely ruined our day!
In the end we managed to get another car at Europcar at 10pm - no fuss, no problems - but had to drive through the night. Thanks easirent!”
“DON'T EVER RENT WITH EASIRENT!
I have rented the second time a car via Easirent LUTON!
It was for a day and the experience was AWFUL!!!!!
I strongly recommend you to AVOID them. Why?
Firstly – they have given you the car in a hurry - as it was almost the closing hour – so I got the car and pretty much sent me away with no time for me to check and notice any missing bit.
After I took it – I have noticed the plastic part covering the break was broken and put in the door – and the mats were missing.
When I returned it the next day – they were hurrying to charge me £100 for the missing mats and almost invoice me for the broken part of the pedal – luckily was an employee that admit – this was an issue before.
They totally ignore my comments to check were the car had been washed as for sure there were those mats – but of course – it is easier to charge a stupid client like me.
Maybe you chose them as being cheap – but the quality of their service is cheap also !
Not only that they took my money INSTANTLY off my card – but they are abusive as well!
Plus they have charged me for a GPS though the car had it included by default!

“Hi there I rented a car yesterday from this easirent and they are pure thieves.
The car was already empty when I took it, I put £10.00 fuel used it for 20 miles as I had to go to Heathrow., when I returned back the car they said there was minor scratch which I didn't bother when I was taking the car as I was looking damages.
As they were holding my £1250.00 they charge me £170.00 for tiny body scrach as they insist I done it.
I had no time as I was missing my flight, those in the counter they were rude and intimidating, steer away from this scum.”
“Awful company, they hold your £ 1,250 deposit for one month, based on a weekend rental!!
If you complain, forget about it they are not interested, poorly trained staff, lacking intelligence and low end, low spec vehicles.
Save yourself the hassle and worry and steer well clear, they operate remotely from the airports and keep you waiting to get back to the airport when you return the car.
All in all it will be a good day for the car hire business when this lot go to the wall....
You have been warned.”
“My terrible experience begun from the pick up of the rental, once I had a debit card, not a credit card, they would only proceed with the rental if I bought the most expensive insurance of the rental(over 22GBP/day), that almost doubled the final price. Reason? company policies... Booking with another company was no longer a option due time, well, I paid it. Funny thing, it was written in those small unreadable letters in my booking, almost thought it was fair.
Then comes the fuel... the only option you have is to buy fuel from them from a random price, and returning it empty or losing your fuel leftovers. You can not pick it full and return full due company policies...
Now comes the worse...
I picked the car at 8pm, and returned at the same time, staff argued that my original booking was at 5pm via a third part website, and thus couldn't change it, charging me 40GBP as late delivery charge. This same situation happened before with me in Europcar and they didn't even consider charging me any fee once the real pick up time was in the booking, not the website one.
I feel robbed in many ways, how a unfair late delivery fee of 3h could be priced almost 2 full days fee of my rental?
Further more, one employee collected the check list paper(my yellow document) from my hand after him and I had already signed it, added information of time of delivery, and ordered other staff to re-scan the document. This is simply illegal to add information in a paper after I signed without my consent.
I intend no legal action for a 40GPB unfair fee, but fully intend to expose my experience. Have a nice life!”
