I wanted to us "Pay Pal" to check out but wouldn't work for some reason, so had to use credit card, which is not how I wished to pay.

Hi Richard, I'm sorry to hear this. Please can you provide me with some more details of why it didn't go through with Paypal so I can look into this further? Perhaps details of any error messages? My email address is scott@ebuyer.com Thanks, Scott

Finally get to spend the 10 quid credit I had from having to pay for the postage on a returned faulty item back in October 2013. It was a sneaky move to only give me credit and not a postage refund, they said it was a security issue not to refund me by post? I had to buy something to get my money back. Very Clever!!! Well hopefully they remember I have that credit and do not charge me now the full amount for my perchase today! PEOPLE BEWARE

I first decided to use ebuyer after using them for my first PC build and being reasonably priced. I was soon not to have the same service I remembered, I placed my order that came in at £1300 this was on a finance deal end cost of £1500. The boxes all came the next day as expected after opening them I found the Mother bored to be missing, to cut a very long story short after 3 convolutions with ebuyer

Purchased a bubble spa for next day delivery. Courier service was Yodel. Goods purchased on Thursday for delivery Friday. Waited in all day Friday no goods. Promised goods on Saturday. Still no arrival. No contact numbers available over the weekend. 40th birthday ruined. Still no goods....

Generally, eBuyer 's products are good value and their goods processing very efficient. But eBuyer is let down by its choice of courier. I think it uses Yodel. My recent purchase in June was delivered to a wrong address. Yodel couldn't confirm where it was delivered. Luckily several days later, the person who got the parcel took the package to my house and save the day. My order was over £100. My wife wasn't clever enough to asked the good Samaritan of her address, so there no chance to thank her and tell Yodel where they made their mistake.

Spent 15 minutes on hold on the phone trying to place an order which I have done on many occasions only to be told by a young female voice when they finally answered that I cant order on the phone (again which I have done before) so I tried to explain I am ordering a screen for my laptop and cant order on line which was basically ignored! and told cant do orders online, not impressed this time but I will admit usually I have no issues with ebuyer on the many previous occasions we have ordered service has been exceptional.

Hi Andy, I'm sorry for the trouble that this has caused you. I have just been on the order and I can see you have a business account with us. It seems like you came through to our customer service team who do not have the facilities to take telephone orders I'm afraid. If you would like any further assistance then please do not hesitate to contact the business team on 0871 528 5180 and they will be more than happy to help. Sorry for the problems again. Kind Regards, Scott

Very poor returns process, extremely delayed response in dealing with it, asking for items that were completely unrelated to the fault.

while trying to place an order with e-buyer i am being constantly bombarded with advertising for products that i do not want. after cancelling these annoyances they just pop up again. all i wanted to do was make a purchase, undisturbed, so i could concentrate on what i was doing. taking part in a customer survey while trying to buy is not good business practice and would not be tolerated in a retail outlet. it left me feeling angry and annoyed, and would hesitate before using this service for future purchases.

I have used ebuyer for years spent thousands with them ever since they were based in sheffield and used to be able to collect from them. I used to get amazing customer service then I went through a short stint of extremely poor customer service so I used overclockers and aria instead. Late deliveries and poor attitudes with customer service compounded problems. I have started using ebuyer again recently and I have to admit much better service hence why I'm not putting very poor. It's always easier to get a bad reputation than building back up a good one although the unlimited next day deliveries are helping. Still not convinced your going to really prove yourself before you get my faith again...

I found the items I wanted at a good price and went through the checkout process then had to register. I changed the delivery option to free (within 5 working days) and when I came to pay it had defaulted to "next day delivery" and would not allow me to change it back. Instead of free delivery I've had to pay nearly £10!

Checkout was all pretty simple except that the online system believes that the Isle of Wight is in the Channel Islands which it is not. Unable to get next day delivery because of this despite the Isle of Wight having a Portsmouth postcode and knowing that next day delivery is available from many other retailers.

Hi Adam, I am sorry for the trouble that this matter has caused you. Unfortunately, the contact we have with our courier company class this as the Channel Island and this is why the delivery status is how it is. We are reviewing this internally and I can only apologise for the annoyance that this has caused. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with by emailing me directly to scott@ebuyer.com Kind Regards. Scott

VERY CONCERENED! Have ordered from ebuyer before without problems but this time logged in using my email and password and when I got to the payment page, your system shows a colleagues home address and card details. I hope other colleagues who place orders do not see my details! I will be checking with them today.

i had to register for an account which I didn't want to do. I just want to buy what I want, not leave a biography all over the internet. And then that Matsercard Securecode box came up . . .

Too many suppliers are requesting surveys these days which is why I will only purchase from companies that do not require surveys so this could be your last order from me. I just want to buy supplies, I do not want to be your friend and give you all sorts of personal information about myself, why did you ask my age for instance.

There were several frustrations in using this site. the first time the goods were ordered, it could not go ahead as the delivery address and the payment address did not tally. This was to facilitate delivery but we amended it to get the order through and waited - and waited - and waited. We couldn't make phone contact and the weekend and were cut off twice when we called on the Monday. I then emailed and got a very vague reply. I called and spoke to an operator who said the addresses still didn't tally and it had been cancelled. We were not informed of this. I then reordered using alternative details. I found the website awkward to use and wished I had the time to seek an alternative supplier. I look forward to receiving the goods but could not currently recommend that others use this site.
