“Response from web-site was slow and coloured my impression of the experience. However ease of use, etc was good. Impressed by the value for money and being able to buy a laptop matching my requirement. I actually saved money by buying a vanilla laptop i.e. without an operating system as this was replacing a laptop on which I had installed Windows 7 which I intend reinstalling on the new laptop.”

“ebuyer as always best in price, however was stumped that upon google search it said free delivery to attract customers, but when you click through it wasn't free unless I wanted a 5 day delivery!”

“The rating would be much higher, except for one thing: the shipping costs. Not that I mind paying it, but twice I reached the end, having been told throughout that shipping was free, to discover that somehow the final amount included shipping cost. Either admit it at the beginning, or don't alter it. This is why I feel I can't trust Ebuyer, which is a shame.”

“1. POSITIVE: Wide selection of options - almost spoiled for choice. 2. POSITIVE: Nice to read other buyers' opinions. 3. NEGATIVE: I was buying a monitor. It would have been nice to know whether I needed to buy leads for it. 4. POSITIVE: I like your free postage option 5. NEGATIVE: Your policy on using PayPal is appalling. As soon as I selected it as my payment method, the price went up by £10. Your excuse was that PayPal required a signature for the delivery. what that has got to do with it is beyond me. Perhaps I should ask PayPal.”

“I would love to state that the whole buying process was great. However, the fact that you charge 10 pence per minute for telephone calls from both your private and business users, leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Why on earth would you do this, when the rest of the purchasing process, (as well as the price) is so good? Today, I hung up my phone after being kept waiting for a very considerable time, without being answered. Hence, the 3 stars for your rating. Please consider altering this, so that your customers can come back with far superior feedback.”

“Website was easy to use and ebuyer are good value for money. However found the identification authorisation a bit troublesome and time consuming. I appreciate fraud is common and some prevention is needed maybe something quicker and simpler for the customer though is needed. However i will use ebuyer again”

“Although I chose to deliver to a different address, when I paid via paypal it showed it would be delivered to my home address and the only option I had at that point was to confirm or cancel. So I confirmed, which means it will be attempted to be delivered to my home address then I'll get the card in the door and have to pick it up at the couriers office at the weekend. That is inconvenient for me and the courier.”
