“I am an Executive with National rent a car and love their service. I live in Beaver Dam WI, and Chiefland FL for the winter, and because National is 50 miles and 40 miles from me in each location, I rent with Enterprise at both places. I have had all positive experience with Chiefland, but even though I have been using Beaver Dam for about 7 years, and rent at least 6-8 times per year, the last 3 times I used them, they.did not have the car I specifically rented. This last time was the last straw, I booked March 4 for a trip, ( May 24- June 3) and today the day I was to pick it up, I am informed they do not have the car I rented, and wanted me to take a mini van. I am sorry but there is no customer service here, they had ample time to make sure I got what was requested, and once again failed. I canceled my reservation, and now will drive 50 miles to National who immediately got me what I asked for. I will never use Enterprise at the Beaver Dam location again. If you don't care what car THEY decide to give you, go there, if not, stay away!”
“Terrible experience. Rented two minivans two weeks ahead of a holiday weekend. Called the day of to say that they don’t have any minivans. I called customer service and they offered a solution that the local office knew nothing about. They say they’ll get back to me, and they don’t”
“If I could give this establishment zero stars., I would. My husband and I were going out of town for the weekend and reserved a car (with a confirmation number and details) from Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Ottumwa, Iowa, to be picked up on Friday, April 12th at 8:00 AM. I got a call at about 7:30 AM saying that the car wasn't ready and they would call me when it was. I explained that we were both working that day and that's why we were going to pick it up at 8, but I would be able to get pick up the car sometime after noon. I got a call back at about 9:00AM that the car was ready to be picked up. Again, I explained that I was at work now but could get it in the afternoon, when I had ride to their office. They gave the car to someone else. The manager said that is their policy. Then he said they would have another car for me and the he had something to do but he would call me when he finished the errand and might even be able to pick me up. He never called me. I called and no one answered a couple of times and then went into the office to see what was happening. He said a "confirmation" is not a guarantee that you will actually get a car. What? I think people need to know that they do NOT stand behind their promises. If you reserve a car ahead of time, they do not guarantee you will get one. It ruined our weekend. I called corporate and they said someone would call me in 24 - 48 hours to discuss the situation. No one has ever called me. I called them a week after the incident. Again, they said someone would call me. NO CALLS. A few years ago, I posted a positive review because their customer service was superlative. Times have changed. No longer the case. Terrible manager, terrible customer service. Very, very disappointing. Weeks later, I have heard NOTHING from Enterprise Rent-A-Car in spite of the fact that they have all of my contact information and promised they would call me,.”
“Today, May 21, 2024, I had a day from hell with the Enterprise Denver International Airport location! We encountered racism and discrimination from Brandon (supervisor). Octavio Paz had a reservation (1360863947), and Brandon took Octavio's driver's license to the office and came back and said it was "red" which means he could not rent him a vehicle. I know Octavio's license is valid and he does his income taxes like any other U.S. citizen. He has a decent, honest job. He has rented vehicles in the past. I did not get a valid clear explanation of the refusal. When Elser Ramirez tried to rent a car, Brandon said his account was "red" as well, but with NO VALID EXPLANATION or reasoning. My husband is a U.S. Citizen and has a valid Colorado driver's license. Brandon committed a racist act on Octavio Paz and discrimination to Elser Ramirez. He also threatened to call the police, which he never did. I have never seen such horrible downgrading customer service in my life! We lost more than 2 hours of our valuable time and when I threatened to call the police, they then changed the story saying they could rent us a vehicle after all. I ended up renting the vehicle, since we already had a reservation and Marcos tried to help us as much as he could, but he did NOT OFFER A VALID REASON for not renting the vehicle to Octavio or Elser. He said Brandon wasn't being racist, just doing his job, but how do you explain why he didn't rent a vehicle to my husband? Is it because my husband has a Latino accent? This sure does sound like RACISM and DISCRIMINATION to me! This is the first and last time I will ever rent in this horrible location. Brandon deserves to be FIRED for his incompetence, racism and discrimination! I have never been so humiliated in my life! I hope something gets done in regard to this because Enterprise is sure going to lose a lot of MONEY if he does not rent to people with "marked" driver's licenses. This is not only going to affect Enterprises' finances, but it does not look good on the company. I will make sure to do everything in my power to make my voice heard and warn others about the racism and discrimination in this location done by the supervisor BRANDON.”
“Customer service sucks and they lie to you as a customer. My first experience they said that they didn't have a car in the price range that my insurance company was paying Instead they try to upharge me into paying more money instead of renting vehicles. They save the higher end cars to get more money and put you in the crappiest cars they have available,I can't believe they just tried rent me a car on empty and told me to put gas in and bring it back empty as if I'm going to ride around on fumes!!!! If I could give less than a star I would!!!”
“I had booked a car online and got to the place to pick it but only to find out it was never booked it left me stranded and no way home what a bunch of idiots luckily I figured out how to get home will never book another car for nothing from the ass holes”

“Two weeks ago the catalytic converter was cut off my daughters car while she had one of their rental cars. After the manager Wendy was very rude, lack of signage and proper security cameras where they should have been, my daughter got in touch with corporate trying to get assistance with the repairs or at least a refund for the $132.00 she paid for the rental to put towards repairs. She had spoken with the regional manager, Steven, who seemed sincere and said he would escalate to his boss to ask about a refund and call her back "that evening or the next morning" (his words). That was on Thursday, May 9th. Since then, my daughter has tried to reach out a handful of times and left voicemails and has not had a return call since! The staff here lie and do not care one bit about their customers! I would not use their services. The signage that was posted was so low to the ground in the corner of the building people couldn’t notice it. This is a scam! Funny how the surveillance cameras were not facing the parking lot when she arrived for her car after the converter was cut. Now, the cameras are facing exactly where the cars were parked when this happened. More than one vehicle had this happen to them. Just a short time before this happened, they had the same issue to other vehicles. Police reports have been made. They could’ve warned us about what had happened before allowing the vehicles to be left there.”
“My wife went to make a change to the reservation and one of the 2 people she spoke to just canceled the reservation because she asked to speak to a manager due to them not understanding or pobably not given a damn about about changing the reservation. We have traveled and used Enterprise for years and the one time a change had to be made due to a family emergency they just canceled the already reserved reservation. This is absolutely horrible customer service. I will be switching to another rental company due to this irresponsible, egregious, and incompetent customer service.”
“I rented a four-year old Hyundai Ioniq from Enterprise. Since it was four years old, it had small dents and scratches that I photographed the best I could. About a month after I returned the car, my insurance company said they are blaming me for one of the small scratcher on the front fender. I know I did not do that. They are claiming it will cost $1040. The person who checked me in at the return didn’t mention anything. I am very angry and may have to hire an attorney. I will never rent from Enterprise again because of their dirty tactics. If you do rent from them, video and photo everything because they will try to screw you.”
“This review is in reference to the Eustis enterprise location. The associate referenced in this review needs to be retrained as far as her customer service skills are concerned because her attitude was terrible, and mind you the manager was right there and didn’t acknowledge. The situation entailed us being told they were vehicles available by the associate at the current location(352…). Upon arrival to the location, which I had a reservation for, I was told the vehicle I had reserved was not there. Obviously I had no vehicle to go to another location thus I asked for a courtesy ride to which I was met by the female associated responding at me with an attitude as though I’m a nuisance for asking. Typically I would not be bothered by slight attitudes as some people may have bad days, but in this scenario it was so aggressive and rude when I came to her with respect. My family has always recommended enterprise Eustis as it was the most convenient but due to this incident I would rather go to the Leesburg location before stopping here as they made a stressful situation worse.”

“Would not recommend! We have been loyal enterprise consumers. We are moving, a couple weekends ago we rented a truck, we got to enterprise on time and they said they did not have any trucks after a bit of back and forth they all of a sudden had a truck. We reserved a truck for today and they called us mid day to inform us there were no trucks avaliable and suggested an alternative location, we called that location and verified they had a truck...less than ten minutes before we arrived at out scheduled time they called us to say they did not have any trucks, when asked why they confirmed earlier in the day that they did they suggested we use a competitor that charges by the mile since they were next door to enterprise, still no empathy,support or resolution from enterprise as they did not care that we relied on them as a reputable company. Still wondering why they give you options to choose from if they can't hold their end of the deal.”
“First of all it started with me reserving two days in a row and no cars were available. I remained calm. There was a problem w my license on the 3rd day so I got a new copy. My boss put in a Verizon code for me to get a discount since he is affiliated. And your customer service (that's a joke) rep blocked the code. He was rude on his phone "texting a customer " during our whole transaction. And he was judgemental and rude during entire transaction! So now I cannot get my corporate discount! And I couldn't give you guys $600 to get a car you lost all that money and I'm going to go with a different company now unless you fix this because I rent a car at least once a month for my company business! This was at the Fyler and Kings Highway location in St Louis Missouri the gentleman was very rude and had short rude answers to give me!”

“Enterprise in Croatia. Took more money for deposit than I owed. Said it was a hold in case of any problems, and would be refunded when the car was returned and the correct outstanding amount would be charged. I returned the car to the office at the time arranged but no one was there. Overcharge amount still on my credit card, no one to sort it out. Don't go with Enterprise. Rip off.”
“I booked a truck for my daughter prom, several days ago, I called them at 7.35 am to confirm and the lady that picked up confirmed it , upon getting there by 9.30am, I was told that the truck was give to another customer the previous day even though I reserve and confirm it earlier. There was no apology from the lady, just shrug it off
