“I cancelled a 12 month policy after 6 months as I had sold the car , I was paying monthly. They said I would have to pay a cancellation fee , which I thought was a bit much seeing as they had over £400 off me for basically doing nothing and it hadn't even cost them a stamp as my documents were online. So I told them to go whistle for their cancellation fee , and I havent heard nothing since. But if I had been the type of person to be bullied into paying them , they would have got money for doing nothing , just goes to show what they are like.”
“I recently got a new car so had to change my policy I was stung for £57 just to swap it over after 9 months of being with them I won't be getting a new policy with them.”
“Somebody hit my car and drove off so I made a claim and has been over 2 weeks I'm getting no where with esure.. have spoken to different person every time who give me different answers then the next will say you have been given wrong info.. very fustrating.. one lady advisor was very rude, didn't want to admit that I could be told wrong info before.. I am not anywhere near satisfied.. will be leaving esure. In these situations customer service is very important”
“They were fine and met all my insurance needs until I had to claim after being hit while parked by a hit and run driver then my renewal tripled in cost. I understand that they could not reclaim the costs from a third party but surely it should not have made the cost jump up so much. Phoned to ask if there was any movement price wise but to no avail it was very disappointing in the end. It did make me wonder if I had not of been hit and had to claim then would the payments have gone so high somehow I don't think so.”
“I wanted to add my daughter to my policy after taking it. She has a clean licence and has made no claims on her own policy. Esure's charges were excessive and disappointing.”
“I have subscribed my home insurance with Esure back in November 2014. At that time thy didn't have a web portal for clients and therefore I don't have access to documents that could be online and cannot update any of my personal information online. Esure have said that clients from 2015 onwards would be able to access to their online documents like any other company.”
“I would never ever 8n sure my car with e sure ever again as they cancelled my insurance with out warning and this lead to getting stop by police and I recived 6 points on my licence due to e sure f****k up which to this day they never excepted...thanks e sure. !!”
“I have not found ensure a very good insurance company. I had my car keys stolen out of my handbag whilist shopping with the little one. I phone ensure up and they said there was no danger to my car so will not charge the locks on my car even tho I have electric keys so the person who stole my keys could of gone round the carpark of the shop I was in to take my car. I have asked esure to put in wrighting that there is no danger that my car will be taken some 3 weeks later I am still waiting. I wouldn't insure a car with esure again”
“Even though I correctly completed my address details on-line, the policy documents showed an incorrect address. I phoned to tell them about this, and eventually was sent replacement documents with an address that was still incorrect. As the postcode was OK I haven't changed it, but I'm lucky that I haven't needed to make a claim, or I suspect that this could have caused problems for me.”
