Terrible after sales experience from the Urmston Commercial centre. Once you have parted with your money they are not interested. More to the point neither is the Business Manager!

Got a car from you in 2021.your after custom service is truly shocking. I'm now having to go through pentagon burton on trent. The server is far superior to evans halshaw. I will no longer be using your services.

Picked up our new (used) car a week ago from Evans Halshaw Leicester. We did a trade in with our car. We were looked after by Sales Executive Imran Moosa. He was very helpful in all aspects of our Purchase. Explained everything in detail. Explained other add on sundries that were available so we were aware of them. No pressure at all. Very friendly guy that made the purchase of our car a nice time for us. He basically did all the paperwork and we've now received the log book so everything's done. On the test drive Imran explained a lot of the controls especially the Electric Parking Brake/Automatic Brake Hold. Not experienced before but heard about. He was very patient bless him. My husband and I are very happy with our purchase and being helped by Imran. A pushy person would have resulted in a no sale. Considering we only nipped in to have a look around we came away very happy.

Just part exchanged our car at Evans Halshaw Walsall, this is the 5th time we have done this at Walsall and as always the help, knowledge and understanding of the staff was first class. We were kept informed of the progress of the paperwork and the status of our new car. We were well impressed with the cost of our new car and the part exchange offer of our old car. A special shoutout to Dayton who conducted our purchase in a very friendly manner. We could not recommend the people at Walsall more highly, and look forward to seeing them in a few years.

Bought a car from them with the salesman telling me 3 times the car would be serviced and had full service history which it didn't, tells me these salesmen don't have a clue about the car your even buying. Lets start with the "full service history" it had a service at like 12k miles, 30k miles, last one being at 42k miles the car is now on 74k miles....so its had 4 services in 10 years! but the last service alone was over 30,000 miles ago, belt hasn't been changed either even though its been over do for 2 years. Car got delivered to me "serviced" but after their lies about the service history i decided i would put it on a ramp (service all my cars myself) and i found the oil filter was very old and stiff and was a £3 no name part, oil sump plug was so tight from being left to rust for over 30k miles it snapped my socket clean off so had to borrow a heavy duty socket to get the plug out, oil was black and full of dirt, air filter again was a cheap brand and so old it actually turned yellow its meant to be white. Salesman told me it was serviced once again when ringing him up to complain, couldn't even tell me what the oil is meant to look like but apparently i was exaggerating! even the washer fluid was almost empty and only filled with water..first service i know of that fills your washer fluid with water no wonder all the parts on it are knock off cheap parts, anyway fast forward 3 months the steering rack needed replacing and they replaced it with a used one off ebay or somewhere and again they argued it was new so just beware when using them they cut corners. When a company doesn't even use good branded parts like Bosch and buy no name service parts that should tell you what you need to know about them fitting other parts, oil was black and on minimum, washer fluid had a inch of water left in it, steering fluid on minimum, coolant minimum, service filters all old and worn.

I am totally disappointed and dissatisfied with Evans Halshaw / Pendragon. I was mis sold a warranty and now that I want to claim for a faulty rain sensor, I am been beat around the corner. It’s not on the exclusion list but it’s now being rejected. I have tried calling and emailing them with no reply. I would not recommend this company. I will spread this on all the platforms and complain to the authorities. Guarantee No: 2872025

Purchase that has left me financially devestated. I Bought an Audi A1 in 2022, broke down within a few weeks of purchase, was fixed by them, repeated this process 3 times over a year - including one time when they kept it for nearly three months over christimas. Now their statutory responsiblities have expired they want nothing to do with the cars numerous and ongoing issues. Now I have a car I have only been able to actually drive for 7 months out of the 13 I have owned it and now requires £4,000 worth of repairs to be roadworthy - its been financially devestating and I am paying finance on a car I cannot afford to fix so I can actually drive it. As a single parent with two young children this has been unbelievably stressfull . Its the worst case scenario when buying a used car, and exactly the type of situation you go to a reputable car dealership to avoid. I felt I had done everything right choosing Evans and still cannot believe I am in this situation and I have no idea what to do next. Im sick with worry. I would encourage anyone not buy anything here without having it independently assesed by a mechanic, you cannot trust their word.

Went to Evans Halshaw for a motability vehicle for my daughter only to be greeted by Gary who was adamant we were wrong in our research that and under 25 could drive a Mokka GS under the motability scheme. He said we were wrong as you can only drive a 120bhp vehicle. He even phoned Motability to be told he was wrong. Made us feel awkward and upset my daughter who has ASD and ADHD. How can the supposed expert not know this. Wasn’t even offered a drink. When will Dealerships get it into their heads that they are in a service industry and you are not doing the customer a favour but quite the opposite

I was looking on Autotrader at BMW 1 series and found one i liked but it was borderline high in price and just happened to be advertised by Evans Halshaw. Asked if there was any way they could bring the car down to my local dealer as i just sold my car so can't travel 300 miles to look at a car i might not even buy in the first place, told me sure and come on this date and time which i did, car wasn't even there! was told to come back in two days so i did, went out to look at the car and was basically left to it, first thing i noticed was the interior being very mucky with rubbish in and they said they'd clean it "if" i bought the car but it still isn't how a car should be shown for sale considering its a BMW and almost £15,000...or so i thought! engine bay was mucky and clearly hadn't been serviced in ages and the idrive system shown the last service being over 12k miles ago. The final straw for me was when they told me the car had gone up by over £900 since i first phoned up about the car...and that the warranty had gone up as well so the car would of cost me over £1500 more all together, told them the car was already at the high end of the scale in price as most car value websites had the car over £2,000 cheaper than they listed it as! so i told them no your just being greedy and walked away, ended up finding a 1 series a week later with 10k less miles and a year newer for £13,995, its pretty clear to me now EH buy cars from private sellers on websites like Autotrader then throw a grand or more on top for profit and claim they offer cheapest price possible, when you can go on AT or Ebay and search the exact year and millage of the cars they're selling and you'll find ones way cheaper and no where near their price. So my warning is look elsewhere or else your paying more money just for their name on it and all these "checks" and "services" they do when they don't, especially when they told me the car had just been serviced yet the engine was covered in much and dust with no finger prints or update on idrive or paperwork...so a garage serviced it and didn't give any record of it even being done? right...

Avoid at all costs! Bought a Fiesta for my sons 18th 7 months ago that has cost us in excess of £2,000 to bring up to a working and safe condition. Having only done 400 miles since purchasing this is clearly down to a car sold, not fit for purpose and a vehicle that should not have passed an MOT! Complaints raised at Altrincham Evans Halshaw have been met with complete rejection of any willingness to help in resolving the issues or make any contribution as apparently this is deemed as acceptable maintenance costs on a car that has done 67k miles. Now off to go legal, so anyone looking for a car don't go here!

Sold my car to Evans Halshaw. What a great experience! They matched the valuation given on line and the money was in my account within 24 hours. Matt was the sales associate... what a nice guy. He explained everything clearly, was very easy to get on with and remained professional at all times.

We collected our new car yesterday from Motherwell. Our sales executive was Eryk Gnylewicz. He was very helpful during the process of trade in and buying. When we collected the car he took us out to our car and was very pleasant and knowledgeable in explaining all the controls and answering any questions we had.
