EverPresent did the work as requested, and on time, and for the price range originally estimated. “I’m afraid that I have been disappointed in the results of the work done by Everpresent. One of the four disks I received has someone else’s music on it, and I am missing the last several movements of a major work on my disks.
The recording quality makes me think that the copies were made without listening to what was on them. Admittedly, these are some older recordings, but I, an amateur in the recording field, have made infinitely more acceptable copies of these tapes. I have the feeling that either the technicians were unaware of the fact that this work was recorded on a 1/2 track Stereo, rather than 1/4 track, and so much of the fidelity is lost, causing distortions of balance and clarity. I made a point to inform those to whom I entrusted the tapes that some were recorded in 1/2 track, but it seems that was ignored.
Lastly, I had a copy of the work transferred to a thumb drive, but have been unable to play anything from it since it appears that the jack has been twisted and therefore it is unreadable.”

The extent of their experience communicated a sense of confidence and they handled the project without issue. The only thing I would like to see change is how they establish communication. Whether placing an order or just needing a question answered, there is a front line group of representatives that take messages. Everything is a call back. A few times these were pretty slow. But this might be limited staffing due to Covid, so perhaps this will improve. (This review form only gave the option of stating 6 to 12 hours or over a week as reply time. There should be something between that. It was more than 6 to 12 hours, but usually less than a week. But it was closer to a week so I chose a week. Thank you!”
“EverPresent did an outstanding job converting a voice recording of my Grandfather from 1944. Tge recording was made on a two sided record that requires a special needle to play. “Overall I was happy with the conversion of videos to digital. However, I was disappointed that one video had a lot of "shaking" in the digital format. While a written description explained the cause of this it would have been nice if I had been called and asked if I still wanted it. I think it was more than moderate shaking. I called to talk to someone about it and no one ever called me back.”
