The lounge was clean & comfortable & the staff were polite & courteous The food choices were very limited as were the drinks. Overall I felt it wasn't value for money

I was very excited to go in for first time but was disappointed. I thought breakfast choice was poor. I am vegetarian and did order the sausages but they arrived undercooked and I have to say they are the worst ones I have ever had and I have been vege for 30 years. On that basis I am not convinced it is worth the money.

We were seated immediately even though it was incredibly busy with a queue at the door. Food was very disappointing for the money paid. Staff were very grumpy apart from those at the main reception desk.

I think this was the worst experience in the lounges o have spent my layovers. I couldn’t name it comfortable neither staff friendly somehow, strange. The only person who was nice was the gentleman who was cleaning the shower, the rest did not even smile, well definitely when in Amsterdam I will choose another lounge! Do not recommend

I personally feel it is very basic. The only thing I wanted after viewing the selection was porridge... which was nice to be fair. I wouldn't book it again as the food options in Pret at nicer/fresher for less. There is absolutely nothing special or unique about the food and I definitely don't like paying £25 for a bowl of porridge and a coffee

Little disappointed. Not as good as our experience at Newcastle. Food is " selectively posh" let's say.

It was ok for a lounge but not on a level of other lounges I have visited. UK standards are not what they are in Middle East or Asia which is a shame because there is a huge market for it. Food was ok but not a lot of choice when. Even comparing to Heathrow lounges but it was a nice way to spend 2 hours away from the crowds. Just more choice, attentive staff would go a long way to making it more customer friendly and pleasant. Manners cost nothing but mean a lot such as greeting on arrival and staff walking round and looking bothered about their role.

We needed a lounge due to a long layover but we didn’t feel this lounge was worth the price. The bathrooms were not very clean especially considering the number of people using the lounge. We didn’t eat any food because we were still full from the flight. The lounge seemed to have too many people for the space The staff was very friendly and helpful

The lounge was not busy on Sunday 2nd Feb. Food and drink good and drinks were served by staff at the bar. I didn’t mind that and l realise it isn’t a business class lounge. I would be prepared to pay more if the lounge was refurbished and less canteen feel. Lights are harsh and lacks ambience. I think there is a missed opportunity to really think about what the customer wants, bearing in mind most flights from terminal 2 are long haul and it would have been a better start to my trip to Maldives in a more ambient environment. First time at Aspire Manchester Unfortunately for me l would class it as acceptable based on price paid and staff who were polite and well presented. Thanks Michaela M.

Not enough seats, especially as people take over multiple seats with bags and sleeping across seats were available. This is not just your lounge, we have had problems with pay lounges across the world, so much so we think sometimes it is not worth the money to feel cramped instead of relaxing before a long flight.

The lounge is quite shabby and the food is mediocre. I would not use it again.

The executive lounge overall was a pleasure experience. However I will say that detailed on their website it claimed to serve a wide variety of drinks and alcohols but when we got there there was 2 largers, 3 fruit juices and a couple of other drinks like absolut vodka and gin.... They did not the selection they claimed to have on their website... Which was a let down because we picked this lounge over the other due to the more varied drinks menu! Also, with desserts there was 1 piece of cake left and there was no message to say that there was any more or that they had ran out. It was only when I asked the bar man whether they have anything sweet that he said no, then looked under the desk and found a box of macaroons and gave me 2. After this he returned the box under the counter and did not out them out for other guests to enjoy.. I even though this was one of the desserts stated on their website. Overall, like I said it was a pleasant enough experience to enjoy a couple of hours of relaxation before your flight and It was worth the money. However, there was just a couple of points. **Make note - when you are in the lounge they DO NOT make any flight announcements, you have to continuously check the departure board. Enjoy 😊

To be honest I wasn’t at all impressed with recent visit. The hot food had been allowed to run out, so choices limited, the clearing of tables was non existent. Not at all to the standard i’ve come to expect in lounges worldwide 😞

Lounge is good depending on which one they put you in. Range of food and drinks are ok despite the noticeable cutbacks over the years I’ve travelled and used the lounge. Had to complain when they tried to put me in the family lounge as an adult travelling alone. I didn’t need to be in there with kids running around when there was an adults lounge that wasn’t full. This is the first time I’ve not had an enjoyable time in the lounge over the last 7/8 years.

We were in the Aspire Lounge, Edinburgh Airport. Facilities were ok - not a great variety of food available [hot]. However it was good that we were away from noise and hustle and bustle - worth it just for that alone! Would recommend; especially if travelling later in day and able to take advantage of a glass of wine [we were travelling early so did not take up this facility!]

There was a long wait to get checked into the lounge on arrival significantly reducing the time we could spend enjoying the lounge. The area was clean and tidy and the staff were friendly. The drinks were pleasant but food was very limited and bland. Overall I would have spent the £50 on a meal and drinks in the main terminal instead.

I think it is a shame that you have to go out of the lounge to use the bathroom! I was travelling on my own and it was very difficult with my hand baggage especially when the lounge got very busy. Limited food/drinks and not a lot of seating
