“Hi, I was over for my friends wedding in January and as Im heavily pregnant, and my flight was late my friend reccomended I stay in the lounge. After reading what they had to offer on their website, I thought id give it a try. Unfortunately, I was disapointed. Although I was allowed to check in half hour earlier, I went in to find that there was no magazines or newspapers the website stated, and TV was on silent. I cannot drink alcohol so the only thing I could see on offer was lemon or cucumber water which looked like it had been there for a while. Food wise, I did not like the 3 hot courses that was on offer, so the only other thing available was a cold selection and very hard and old looking crumpets. Near to the end of my stay (which I left earlier because there was no point in staying in there anymore ) I decided to look at my booking again and realised I was booked into the Executive lounge and not the normal one, which the lady at the desk never mentioned to me. I also realised while I was there, tecnitians fixing and cleaning the air cons on top of us while we were sat trying to relax. I appreciate this needs to be done, but it just added to the disappointment. I did receive half of my refund after my mother complained, but I wouldnt recommend going again to any lounge.”

“I thought this lounge in Gatwick Airport was very dark and dingy. It had no view like the lounges on the floors above as it was on a lower floor. Facilities were fine but as a Vegetarian, Breakfast was limited. Just mashing veg into a sausage shape is not a good solution, There are lots of great Vegetarian and Vegan products out there now so please offer some.”

“The staff were not helpful and seemed put out when we asked for items that were not available in the restaurant area. The older female of staff was quite dismissive when we asked if there were pastries available, answering that, “They’re being warmed and not ready”. Restaurant was also untidy, cluttered and unclean.”

“Easy check in with no problems, Lounge quiet and seat quite comfortable, Good Range of Drinks available all served with a Smile, would have been better if Baileys had been available. Food Ok reasonable Choice warm but not quite Hot enough for us, No English Back Bacon only Streakey which was Crisp and Greasy(needs to have Back Bacon available. WiFi good no Problems will visit again if the Food improves slightly.”
