The lounge itself was comfortable and relaxing, however, only draft beer was included in the price. Wines and spirits were extra.

The lounge at Gatwick could with a bit of a spruce up, especially the toilets. The staff were friendly but apologised for some food items not being available. The seating was comfy but tired and the atmosphere was good, quiet and spacious. Booking was easy andit was in a good location for our gate.

It was a nice place to come and rest after an overnight flight and long layover. The magazines were a great bonus.

We arrived at approx 10.30am,first problem is staff preparing food in the kitchen cannot see customers at the bar.We were the only people in the lounge at this point, we sat down ordered a couple of drinks then went to get some hot food,on display were bacon, sausage, scrambled egg, porridge and small bread rolls. The bacon, sausages and rolls had obviously been on warming trays all morning and had dried out,the rolls weren’t soft at all inside, the scrambled egg was ok.i do think the biggest problem with the plus lounge is not enough people use it hence food put out earlier was still there when we arrived, some fresh egg and bacon quiche was put out after about 30 minutes and this was fresh, hot and very good proving that it can be done, would we use the plus again no,would we use the standard lounge again, not sure at this time.We have used lounges for quite some years but just Bristol these days and both our visits to the plus lounge have been very poor indeed. I would suggest putting smaller amounts of food out if the bookings only show 2 people booked in early, not only less waste but fresher food = happy customers, the staff were fine and 2 more people arrived before we had to leave Regards Dave Jack

I was disappointed - not a lot for vegetarians to eat - too many people - one section closed off - and we could not relax

The lounge was not very busy at around 8 am but guests were waiting in a queue for staff to replenish bacon which was done at about 6 rashers at a time. I dread to think what it would have been like had the lounge been busy!!

Nice space to work whilst waiting for a flight. Just a shame about the prebooked party forcing me to relocate during the visit.

Everything great except departure information not updated on screen. Assumed flight was delayed boarding as other flights on the screen were being updated. Out of interest, I went to the departure desk and asked about my flight to be told it had boarded and I had to run to get it. I then had to go back to the lounge to collect my travelling companion and my bag. I informed the lounge attendant the screen had not been updated.... at this stage it was still showing nothing for my flight.

We usually travel from Manchester and always use the Aspire Lounge there, I was expecting that the Lounge in Liverpool would be similar, we were quite disappointed, the “hot” food was warm and very limited, the seating wasn’t very comfortable, and it was very noisy, we ended up leaving early and walking around the duty free area, this is something we never do, it certainly wasn’t worth the money we paid and should we ever travel from Liverpool again we would definitely not pay to use the Aspire Lounge

Nice to have somewhere to sit , food nice and most of staff friendly and helpful. Downside surprised there are no toilets inside the lounge .. lots of empty tables booked but turning people away at the door seemed crazy

My husband and I were booked in but when were arrived they didn't seem to have any record of us, although that didn't seem to be a problem. I was a bit disappointed with the breakfast food that was available at the time of our visit. I was expecting croissants and pasties as these didn't seem to appear until we leaving. I do not eat the other cooked items that were on offer.

I thought that the standard of the breakfast was poor, not only did we have to wait a while for parts of the breakfast to come out when it did arrive there was very little of it so the few people that were waiting got theirs and the rest had to wait again. If breakfast is on until 11am then the full selection should be available until that time. It doesn't have to be loads of it but enough for the customer to be able to get at least a sandwich.

I use airport lounges as I enjoy the peace and quiet and on previous visits to this lounge have found the selection of food and drink very good and the facilities to be very clean. On this occasion the only food on offer was a slightly stale croissant or a bowl of peanuts plus the lounge itself was pretty dirty. I’m not sure I would bother next time in all honesty.

The design and functionality eg. USB plugs by every seat made t a nice place to relax. However, there has been a limited selection on food and if you do not consume dairy or wheat your options are non existent. Automatic coffee machine which is limited and doesn’t produce good coffee.

It was a much better way to prepare for our flight. There was a reasonable amount of food and getting a drink was simple enough.

Not the most comfortable lounge we have been in and poor amount of sockets for charging. Selection of gluten free items limited too
