Not particularly family friendly. Really just for adults who want to drink a lot before their flight. Food was average. I was left struggling on my own with a toddler trying to get a highchair from behind a heavy table on my own. Had to leave after 20 minutes as my child needed the toilet and the closest ones were shut so we had to walk halfway down the terminal. Staff were pleasant. I definitely did not get value for money.

No issue with the booking or price. However arrived on time to be told that there was standing room only although did eventually find a seat, latter there were people outside waiting for a seat.. Food kept running out. When I asked the barman what wines he had he said red or white, when asked which reds he said Italian or Chilean. No Newspapers left. Will stick to Escape Lounges in future.

Not worth paying for, only 4 choices for a hot breakfast and tiny little croissants for your pastry option. Don’t believe the menu on the website.

This was our second visit but unfortunately we were very disappointed. Food choice was poor they had completely run out of red wine and only had one bottle of White wine. Don’t understand why they couldn’t have got more , it was only 5.30pm and we were booked in until 8pm!!! I asked if we could go to the other lounge but was told that had closed at 6.30pm. Will not be booking again

I tried this lounge on a recent layover at Heathrow and will not try it again. The lounge was overbooked (can be controlled) so for the first 20 min I couldn't even find a seat or somewhere to work. I found to food to be average at best with few healthy options and while I only had two drinks the wine was pretty awful. Certainly not the best first experience and unlikely to try it again

Although we booked our lounge in plenty of time when we arrived there were a distinct lack of places to sit. What spaces were there were not particularly comfortable and did not meet our expectation to start our holiday off in a relaxing way. Being that we would be then seated on a 10 hour flight after leaving the lounge. Sorry unfortunately on that basis we would not use this lounge again but go to the Escape Lounge, which we have used in the past.

The breakfast food was cold Room was cold and staff were unhelpful in that instance despite clearly seeing people sat with coats on. Overall a disappointing visit.

Poor selection of food which stood for a long time before being changed Not able to access any comfy seats therefore just like sitting in a cafe in the departure lounge Staff cleaned tables regularly - good 2 of the 4 passengers were ill on the aircraft after having eaten the lounge food Will not be using again

Noisy, uncomfortable, overcrowded, shortage of seats. Exactly the reasons I booked the lounge to avoid. Rated 2 stars because the food and drink was OK. I would suggest you take a look at the lounges at Amsterdam Airport to see how it's done.

I would not go to this lounge again. It was absolutely packed and there was a notice by the door saying they were full, However, there was a long queue of people waiting to go in, I overheard some people telling the receptionist that they had pre booked and paid, so she had to let them in. This resulted in people being squashed around tables trying to have breakfast. I paid to go to this lounge so that I could sit in comfort and relax, not to share a table with strangers. The choice of food and drink were good.

The ability to relax for a couple hours before a long flight is great, and the seating area in Aspire was good - chairs comfortable, plug in points to be able to work and charge - but the food was substandard. A key contributor to my deciding to purchase Lounge access was to be able to have a good breakfast so that I didn't have to rely upon the airline selection. I had the scrambled eggs and found them bland and tasteless. I understand that powdered or liquid eggs are generally used in catering, but for the lounge access fee I would have hoped that real eggs would have been used. Also, the coffee tasted like it had a shot of washing up liquid in it. I tried two machines and both were equally bad. Again, I know that the coffee machines generally work as they do, so I wasn't expecting that tangy, soapy taste. Based on this experience, it is unlikely that I would pay for Lounge access again ... I liked the ability to relax in comfortable seating so I could work but, as the food was poor, I think the fee is too high for this alone.

We are very disappointed in seeing the 2 star review and feel this is a little un-fair, The review is a great review about our lounge and have not failed in a service failure. I can assure you that our Eggs are not brought in either powdered or liquid. I will be forwarding your comments on to the lounge manager and food and beverage manager to take this on as feedback as this is disappointing that you feel this way. In regards to the Coffee Machine, We do use powdered coffee for the machines and is usually well liked by our customers for the quality and brand we use. very crowded with not enough seats for people. small washrooms that were not very clean. wine was warm and no ice was available. lots of piled up dirty plates and cups, tables not cleared. staff were very kind and helpful but very overstretched. I wouldn't use again.

I found that the espire + isn’t as good as the other lounge ie selection of food tables not cleaned also not enough staff

There very limiting breakfast selection on hot food and cercal. Drinks are limited aswell . I know u can’t have everything. Nice and quiet and soft drinks great options. Very nice will go again

Not comfortable. Too much space reserved for Singapore airlines & not used but no one allowed to sit there was shocking!! Having to share tables when 99% of people where couples & tables where set up for 4 ppl ?? wouldn’t use again

Very disappointed that we’d booked for a group of 5 yes they didn’t have anywhere for us to sit together. Others who’d paid were left standing for well over an hour. They also refused entry to people who had pre booked even though at that time there was space for them to sit in. I wouldn’t book this lounge again, I’d try and get in the escape lounge.
